Timber s POV
"I believe this belongs to you" one of the nomads said as he threw the ball to Carlisle
I looked around and my eyes fall on James and my whole posture changed as my eyes turned blackish red "go over to Emmett Isaac " I had my hands behind my back as my mate went to go stand next to Emmett
"Thank you" Carlisle said
"I believe you're hunting activities have caused some sort of mess for us" Carlisle said again
"Our apologies we hadn't realized the territory had been claimed" says the dread head
"Yes well, we maintain a permanent residence near by" Carlisle says I scoff
"Really, well we won't be a problem anymore we were just passing through" he said
Still looking at James as he looks at Edward
"That's fine, I'm Carlisle and this is my family" Carlisle says
"I am Laurent and this is Victoria and James" he said
"The humans were tracking us but we lead them east you should be safe " Victoria says
"Thank you for that" Major says
"So, could you use three more players" Laurent says
Carlisle looks unsure
"Come on just one game" Laurent says I roll my eyes
"Sure, why not a few of us were leaving, you could take their place" he says
"Excellent"James says menacingly
"We will bat first" Carlisle says throwing the ball Laurent's way but Victoria catches it
"I'm the one with the wicked curve ball" Victoria says
"I think we can handle that" Major says
"We shall see" Victoria says
still looking at James as James keeps his eye on Edward as Edward is reading his mind I look at James snarling
As the wind blows Bella's hair flows with it and I along with Jasper Emmett and Rosie and Isaac still pretending to be a newborn goes stiff
"You brought a snack" James says sniffing the air, as he does this they all form a protective barrier around her.
"The girl is with us I think it would be best if you leave " Carlisle says as he looks at me causing Major and Isaac to look at me and Major knowing that it's not Jessie my whole posture has changed
"I can see the game is over we will go now " Laurent says looking at me
"Hello there midnight, Major " James says
without taking his eyes off Edward or Bella
" howdy, I think ya need ta leave now James you now first hand that Jessie maybe nice but I am not so, leave I actually could care less about her I'm just trying to help my mate " I say
"Fine but this isn't over I will taste her blood" James says as he gets up from his stance and leaves
I smirk evilly
As the three leave midnight slowly leaves to be put back in her cage as I come back and I look at Jasper
"Go now" Carlisle says
"Isaac go with them I'll be there soon" I say as those three go to Emmetts jeep Emmett, Rosie Jasper and I go run in the woods to make sure James isn't there
"It's fine I'm alright I got it" says a frantic Bella and Edward gets in
"What now he's coming after us" Isaac says for the first time
"No you love but Isabella " I say
"Why not me" Isaac says startled I laugh "my apologies my love, Because as Jasper said before you have no scent to us" I say
"Listen to me, James is a tracker I read his mind, the hunt is his obsession, I just made this his most exciting game ever, he's never gonna stop" Edward says
"What do we do?" Asked Bella
"You do nothing, you have done enough "I say as I glare and growl at Isabella
"What should we do" Bella asks again I roll my eyes
"We have to kill him, rip him apart and burn the pieces" I say as Edward keeps driving down the road as Isaac and Bella look out the window and see their friends coming out of a bar
Then we pull up to the swan residence
Isaac and Bella get out , Isaac goes rigid
"What is it babe" I ask
"James, he's here watching" Isaac says
"Edward you go in and make sure Bella packs her bags I will go deal with James " I say as midnight comes back
"No I'm not losing you" Isaac says
"You will not, now go" midnight says still pissed off
They leave as I go after James
Isaac s POV
I go in the house and up to my room and pack as Bella does the same , Edward helps us, after we are done we go downstairs and Charlie is trying to get her to stay after arguing with him and me saying I will watch her we leave the house.
Bella is driving down the road and Edward comes back as he takes over the wheel we hear two thumps in the bed of the truck Bella shutters
"Shh it's just Emmett and midnight" Edward says
"Damnit I was so close , the little fucker crossed into Canada" midnight says
As we get back to the Cullen house I calm down as we stop the vehicle as Jessie and Emmett both get out and so do Bella Edward and I
As we go in the house we see one of the nomads and Edward , Emmett, Jessie and I all begin to growl
"Wait he came to warn us.... about James" Carlisle says
"This is not my fight, Ive grown tired of his game, James is very lethal and him being a tracker makes him even more dangerous, I have never seen anything like him in my 300 years, and the woman Victoria don't underestimate her, I'm really sorry for the trouble we have caused you and your family Carlisle, I will go to Denali " Laurent says as he leaves
We all go to the basement and I stand by Rosie and Jasper
"See this is why I don't trust easily" Jessie whispers but of course every vampire in the room heard her
"Wait did James do something to you" Rosie asks
Jasper growls feeling my emotions
As soon as he growls Peter and Charlotte appear
"We heard tha' the tracker is here so we thought you might need our help in protecten ' lil bit and the other prince here" Peter says
"Isaac,this is Peter and Charlotte Whitlock, our friends from Texas" Jasper says
"More like family" commented Jessie
"Family calls me char" Charlotte says
"Guys I was running after James and then I lost him little fucker crossed the Canadian border" Jessie says
"When we find him again we have to rip him apart and burn the pieces" Jasper Peter char and I say together
"I never relished in the thought of killing another creature, even a sadistic one like James" Carlisle says
"I'm gonna run Bella south, can you all lead the tracker away" Edward asks I roll my eyes "idiot"
"No we have to find a way to trick him and Victoria. Rosalie, Esme put these on so the tracker will indeed pick up Bella's scent, besides he knows Edward will never leave Bella and he will follow him" I say/ask
"Why, what is she to me, I mean I like Isaac but Bella deserves better then us"she says
"Jasper, Jessie,Isaac and I will take her south, she will be safe Edward" Alice says I roll my eyes
" no thanks I'd rather track down the arrogant asshole and I only trust Rosie, Emmett, Jasper, Peter and char with Isaac " I say to the pixie
"Can you keep your thoughts to yourself" Edward asks I roll my eyes
"Yes" Rosie says
With that we all load up the cars and we are off
