Some more time had passed and I finally found a suitable building for me to stay in. From what I could tell it was a hotel. "He really did follow me everywhere I went" I thought as I walked into my fifth hotel room to see if there was a bed. "Found one." I walked over to it and sat down. I then let out a deep sigh and threw myself backwards onto the bed. "Not going to lie, the bed at the cabin is softer than this."
"Another reason why you should come back with me." Black walked into the room and looked over at me on the bed.
"Yeah, keep dreaming" I rolled over on my side and faced the headboard. I didn't want to look at Black. "I can't fall asleep here either" I thought as I tried to think of something that would keep me awake.
"So (Y/n), is this the place you choose to reside for now?" Black asked but got no answer. He walked over to the bed to check on me and saw I had fallen asleep. He laughed to himself. "How could someone who was so adamant on getting rid of me fall asleep so carelessly?" Black asked. "You truly are just like you're future self."
Black spotted the book I read earlier and picked it up from the bed. He opened and scanned through the pages. "This reminds me of a book our (Y/n) was interested in back when she was with us." Black flipped another page. "And this was something that my counterpart and I saw no meaning in but she did."
*Flashback(future timeline)*
(Y/n) let out a sigh as she read the same book she has read for the tenth time already. It's not like she was bored of the book, in fact she really enjoyed the book. The only part that would make her let out a deep exasperated sigh was the part about the characters falling in love and getting married. Marriage wasn't really the most important thing on her mind at the moment but it was still something she wished was able to do. But due to her current circumstances, she wouldn't be able to. And on top of that, there wasn't really anyone in particular she would marry right now.
She let out another sigh and this time it caught the attention of the two men that were in the room with her. Well they heard her first sigh but thought nothing of it at first because it was something she would do while reading her book.
"What is the matter (Y/n)?" Zamasu asked.
"It's nothing" the woman lied.
"You do realize we know when you are lying to us, correct?" Black said as he made his way over to her.
"Yeah, I know." She let out another sigh and got ready to place her book back down on the table until Black took it away from her. He looked over the page where her thumb had been used as a bookmark. "I don't see anything wrong with this page (Y/n)." Zamasu joined them and took the book away from his counterpart. He looked over the page as well and agreed.
"Of course you two wouldn't understand." She took the book back from the two men and sat it down on the table.
"Care to explain to us then?" Zamasu and Black both stared down at her.
She was at a lost for words since this was a topic that she slightly knew of but wouldn't know how to explain it to people who show no sort of emotion besides joy when killing mortals. "Well it's about marriage."
"The ceremony where mortals become one?" Zamasu questioned.
"Become one?" (Y/n)'s mind automatically thought of something else and her face heated up pretty quickly.
"Are you alright (Y/n)?" Black asked.
She nodded her head yes and try to compose herself. There was no way she was going to be able to explain more intimate conversations with the two of them at the moment. It would make things even more complicated for her. "Anyways, you would be somewhat correct about mortals becoming one. They basically unite with each other saying that they will be with that person for the rest of their lives."
"So you want to get married?" Zamasu asked.
"Yes but no. I think it's kind of too late for me right now."
"What do you mean it is too late?"
"Well most of my potential partners are no longer around thanks to a certain two I know" she explained.
"Wouldn't the two of us be more suitable as your marriage partner?" Black questioned.
"We are clearly more capable than some insufficient mortal" Zamasu added.
"I can't believe what I'm hearing from these two" (Y/n) thought as she stared at the two men in shock. "Umm...marriage wasn't really what I was upset about. I was mostly upset about the passionate kiss the two main characters shared during a touching moment." She needed to get marriage off the table as soon as possible. If she thought about marrying the two of them, she really would be confused about the feelings she has for them.
"Passionate kiss? You're talking about when one interlocks lips with another" Zamasu roughly explained.
"Yeah? Weird way of wording it but for the most part yes" she said. "I was just thinking that I haven't really got to enjoy the joys of kissing before. I mean I have a few times in my younger years but they didn't mean much to me" she told the two. The two man stood there and looked at her. They didn't really quite understand what she meant but they were somewhat curious about it. This was the same mortal that has manage to stop them from completing Project Zero Mortals and the same mortal that has caused them to starting having strange feelings grow within them.
"So you just want to kiss someone then?" Black asked (Y/n).
"Maybe, but I would prefer it to be with someone I actually have feelings for." (Y/n) put her arm on the small table she was sitting at and rested her chin/cheek against the palm of her hand. She let out another sigh and closed her eyes. "I don't even know why I'm even thinking about something like that in the first place."
Black and Zamasu looked at (Y/n) then at one another. They both had the same thought in their mind and proceeded to act upon said thought.
Black was the first to act upon the shared thought as he got closer to (Y/n), leaning down towards her face. She could feel his presence in front of her but didn't bother to do anything about it since she had got used to the strange behavior of the two men.
What Black was doing was no different then anything he has done around her or to her.
Black looked back at Zamasu and made sure this is something they want to go through with. "It might explain the feeling we both are experiencing" Zamasu said. Black turned his attention back to (Y/n) and grabbed her chin with his thumb and index fingers.
"If you're going to make me make weird faces again, try to be gentle this..." (Y/n) stopped talking and opened her eyes once she felt something touch her lips. She was now staring Black in the eyes as he "kissed" her.
Once Black was finished, Zamasu came over and did the same exact thing to (Y/n). He grabbed her chin and kissed her, eyes open and everything.
"Do you feel any different?" Black asked Zamasu as he backed away from (Y/n), who by the way was in a state of shock.
"No. If anything, I think this has complicated things even further" Zamasu replied. The two looked back at (Y/n).
"(Y/n)?" Black called. (Y/n) shook her head and used both her hands to slap her cheeks.
"Come on (Y/n), you can't think too much into this" (Y/n) thought as she looked at them. "This was just another one of those experiments they like trying."
"So (Y/n), did our kisses satisfy you?" Zamasu walked in the kitchen to go make some tea.
"To be honest, you guys both suck at kissing."
"What was that?" Black felt insulted for some odd reason.
"You heard me. You guys sucked. Who kisses with their eyes open?"
"Well (Y/n), enlighten us then." Zamasu came over to the table and took her cup she was drinking water out of.
"Huh?" (Y/n) stared at Zamasu's back in confusion.
"He is right. Enlighten us so we won't make the same mistake again" Black added.
"Again?"
*End of Flashback(future)*
"Ah yes, I remember now" Black said to himself as he tossed the book back onto the bed. "Perhaps those kisses did make my counterpart and I understand the feeling we had for (Y/n)" Black thought as he watched me roll over and face him. I was still asleep.
Black walked over to my sleeping form and examined my face. "She does look exactly like our (Y/n)" Black reached his hand towards my face and touched it. I made a face from the contact and slapped away at whatever was touching me. This caused Black to smirk and get even closer to my face. He leaned down and kissed me.
"What the?" I thought as something rough was touching my lips. I opened my eyes to see a smirking Black kissing me. "Aargh!" I pushed him away from me and quickly sat up. "Did you just kiss me?!" I exclaimed as I wiped my lips with my hand. "Why?!"
Black let out a laugh and I glared at him. "You only have yourself to blame (Y/n)." He dodged the deck of cards I threw at him.
"I hate you" I kept glaring death daggers at him as he continued to laugh.
