Not being able to sleep, I went by the window, stargazing. When I was younger, they always locked me away from everyone and everything. Only time I was let out was from my continous begging to be with the other kids.
I got punish for things I had no control of. They hated me because I was some what different. People say that every one is made uniquely, special and different, if that's the case why did they treat me as the outcast.
Well, I rather to be an outcast, who wants to be normal anyway?
No matter what you do in life people will always have something to say. There's absolutely no point of trying to be perfect.
The unremarkable sequin-silver plastered against the clear, cloudless blue-black sky gave off a peaceful atmosphere for me. The forest below it is wide and towering, the moonlight creates a mysterious settings leaving it undisturbed.
The sight relaxed me and I closed my eyes, my legs were crossed and my hands rested on my knees.
"Mom, mom, MOMMY!!!!" my eyes flew open at the sound of Amber's voice.
"What?" I asked looking around for the fire. It's no longer night time, I look at my watch seeing that its 9AM. Wow, great mediating skills.
"I was calling you for hours." Amber lied. "Caleb said that we can get breakfast anytime we want. I want now." She grabbed my hand trying to pull me up.
"I need a shower first, I'll make it quick." I informed her getting up.
"Your version of a quick shower is a small concert, an award ceremony and going over fight strategies." She remarked.
I chuckled knowing that it's TRUE, I really do a lot when taking showers.
"I promise, I'll be quick and go change we have to go shopping today." I told her going to the bathroom attached to the room
After a 30 minute bath, which is my edition of a quickie, I got dress in a black joggers suit and matching Nike shoes. Amber walked in with the same copy of my outfit.
"You're a copycat." She pouted with crossed arms. "And what are you going to do with your hair?"
"What's wrong with it?" My hair was straightened earlier but I wash it in, hence, why it went back to its natural curls.
"Are you blind? Your head needs to be tamed." Amber said.
I laughed because her hair is exactly like mine. Her red curls are everywhere and very thick and puffy.
I took an elastic band from my hand and tie my hair at the back then did the same for Amber's.
"Better now?" I asked with both hands on my hips.
"I guess." She answered looking in the mirror.
I took my keys and card from my bags and we headed downstairs. We entered the kitchen and the smell of pancakes takes my senses, all of them. The kitchen was huge. There was a large island in the middle were the guys and Lavinia sat around. All of them looked up at our arrival .
"Hey." They all greeted.
I waved while Amber hid behind my legs. I forgot that this is actually the first time she's around others, no wonder she was shy.
"Amber, how did you sleep alone?" Caleb asked.
Amber looked up at me for approval and I nodded. "Unlike you, I wasn't scared. " She replied.
We joined the others, I sat in between Clyde and Caleb while Amber goes to the spot between Campbell and Caleb. The stool was too high for Amber so Campbell carefully helped her up. I caught myself slightly smiling for no reason and quickly hid it.
I took pancakes, a sandwich and orange juice and started eating. I didn't even realize how hungry I was, then again I didn't eat last night.
"Well, well, well." Someone said from the doorway but I didn't look because it's none of my business and I was eating. "She's really back from the dead. How are you Aurelia?" The voice of a girl spat out the name.
I glanced up at the source of the voice, a 5'6 pale skin brunette stood there and she didn't look at all familiar.
"I'm guessing you think I have an idea who you are?" I asked after swallowing.
She gasped as if I said something offensive . "Still the same I see." She glared. She came towards the island and sat beside Campbell.
"Hey, Campbell." Her voice greeted him all perky.
He nodded at her with all his attention on his meal. He's in a white pants and long sleeved shirt and a black watch on his left hand
"Rae, that's Meghan. She was apart of the coven back in Russia." Lavinia said looking at me. Oh Meg.
"Rae?" Amber asked.
"Yeah, that was my nickname for your mom when we were younger." Lavinia answered with a smile and I mentally rolled my eyes.
"Oh, so you're the so called sister?" Amber asked.
"Yeah, I guess." Lavinia replied looking at me. "Meg that's Amber, Aurelia's daughter."
"Wait, Aurelia had a child? Who's the father? I'm guessing that he's not in the picture or you don't know who it is, otherwis-" Meg said.
"Meg stop." Campbell said in a low but powerful voice. "Nothing concerning her is your business."
Apart me felt happy than he was defending me but the other part wanted them to see that I could defend myself.
"Meg, you're worried about Amber, don't you want to know about your dad?" I taunted. "Hasn't he been missing for years."
She glared at me and if looks could kill I'd be 6 feet under. But she doesn't intimidate me.
"What do you know?" She continued glaring.
"Absolutely nothing." I said finishing my breakfast. "You should ask the elders." I advised. "Oh no, they're missing too. What are the odds in that."
"Aurelia how do you even know about that? You, yourself have been missing." Lavinia asked confused.
"Let me guess, they told you that I ran away." I suggested.
"Isn't that what happened." Lavinia asked way more confused.
"Hmmm, I would love to do some catching up." I said sarcastically. " But Amber and I have some shopping to do."
"Shopping?" Caleb asked.
"Yes, Amber need clothes." I replied getting up.
" Do you guys need money?" Clyde asked.
"Nope." I said popping the P.
"Well do you know where to go?" Caleb asked.
"Nope, that's what a GPS is for." I answered.
"No, you guys are new here, you should have someone with you." Caleb grinned.
"Campbell will go with you." Clyde said.
"I will?" Campbell asked the same time Meg asked, "He will?"
"Yes, he won't be doing anything for the rest of the day." Caleb added.
"Ok, well let's go." I Murmured
Amber and Campbell followed behind me to my car and we got in. Campbell in the passenger's seat and Amber at the back.
The car ride to the mall was very quiet yet calm and not awkward at all.

"Amber what are you going to do with so many blankets?" I referred to the 4 blanket she placed in the cart.
"It gets cold at night." She shrugged.
"We only came here to get clothes." I told her.
"Apparently you're going to a funeral." She said because I only took up black clothing.
"Never know when there will be one, always be prepared " I joked.
"Be prepared for what?" Campbell's asked walking towards us.
"Nothing important." Amber answered with a grin.
He raised his perfectly shaped eyebrows but didn't say Anything.
"Do you have any thing you wish to buy before we go?" I asked him.
"No, I'm good." He answered softly.
"Ok then, we're done." I turned around ready to check out.
"Done?" Amber asked walking beside me."What about our hair?"
"What about it?" I questioned.
"Like Hello." She pointed at her head.
"We can get some hair products for you both." Campbell added.
We walked to another aisle and stopped where seas of gel and wax were. I placed two large Eco gels in the cart for Amber and some wax and something called edge control.
