Draco

I paced in the waiting room torn between staying here to make sure Theo is okay or being with Orion to keep her out of danger from the psychopath she's alone with. I've never seen Theo so bad after one of his fathers attacks so for now I'm staying he needs me and I know Orion can handle herself, she'd probably hex me if I left Theo. I rubbed my palms into my eyes as they stung with unshed tears recalling the desperation on Theo's face as he stumbled through the doors, desperate to get to us desperate for us help him.
I should have done something sooner, should have known something was wrong. Theo never ignores anyone and he always shows when he's invited anywhere. Orion really is the blessing we both needed in our lives, she brought down my walls helped me fall in love when it seemed impossible. She'll be the one to help Theo, she won't give up until he is free from his father and she'll be by his side while he heals physically and emotionally.
My thoughts were interrupted by Theo's healer leaving the room Theo currently resided at the same time an Auror entered the waiting room asking for Theo's injury file. I slipped into the room while the healer was distracted swallowing the lump in my throat seeing Theo unconscious and deathly pale. I took the seat next to his bed pulling it as close as possible and holding my head in my hands, I don't know how much time passed before Orion and the healer entered the room.
She looked distraught as she looked to Theo, "He's in a magically induced coma to allow his body to recover, they won't know the extent of his tremors or vocal chords until he wakes up" she sobbed taking a seat on my lap and burying her face in my neck. "Harry took him away he's being charged with the use of an unforgivable, the torture of his son and illegal artefacts they'll find when they finish searching the house. I'm going there first thing in the morning to find out what they found and how long he's looking at being sentenced".
"Good I hope he fucking rots in their for the rest of his pitiful life" I seethed taking her hands in mine jumping when she hissed in pain, I tensed my jaw in anger at the swelling and bruising on her knuckles, "What did you do?" I raised my eyebrows at her.
She smiled tongue-in-cheek "I may broken the old bastards nose, I was surrounded by Aurors though and he was threatening me and Theo. He deserved it".
I pinched the bridge of my nose and shook my head "You are so reckless you'll be the death of me you know that?". She palmed my face "I can't help it when it comes to the people I love Draco. I scared myself today.. I could have killed him. I would have killed him and not even second guessed myself" she gulped loudly bowing her head.
"That doesn't make you a bad person Orion you're fiercely protective it's an admirable trait it really is, it's one of the many things I love about you, and as for killing him I could do it as-well it's understandable he's a vile evil cunt and he deserves to die" I assured her kissing the tip of her nose and stroking the back of her head.
The door to the room slammed open Pansy, Daphne and Blaise with Sofia strapped to him rushed in concern etched on their features. "What happened?" Blaise hissed gripping the edge of Theo's bed. I relayed everything as Orion clung to Daphne and Pansy sobbing.
"That fucking bastard, oh Theo why didn't he tell us it was still so bad" Pansy cried and I shook my head "I should have known, I've been so busy with placement and worrying about my own life. I didn't stop to think he was acting out of character".
"Don't Draco, don't blame yourself it's nobody's fault. It won't be happening again because we're going to make sure that cunt never sees the light of day again" Orion said furrowing her brows at me.
We conjured small camp beds in the room none of us prepared to leave Theo on his own, Orion sat on the end of Theo's bed leant against the backboard with Sofia laid on her chest as she stroked soothing circles over her back and peppered little kisses to her forehead. It was a sight to behold I could watch her with Sofia for hours, a little light in the darkness of the current situation. I looked to Blaise and Daphne who watched Orion with Sofia fond smiles on their faces as they leaned on each other.
The next morning Orion woke me up, I squinted at my watch realising we'd all slept in until 9.15 Orion looked as if she hadn't slept at all. "I'm going to the ministry with Pansy, Harry should be there now" she whispered careful not to wake the others and I nodded my head looking up to Theo who was still unconscious.
"Okay I'll be here I'm not leaving I'll try get an update from the healer. I love you" I told her pulling her to me for a kiss.
"I love you too baby, see you soon" she responded making my heart flutter.
Orion

Harry met us at the entrance of the DMLE escorting us to a side room, he huffed out a laugh and took a seat on the chair opposite "Well the illegal artefacts we procured from his manor alone are going to land him in a whole heap of trouble. Plus the use of an unforgivable on his son causing extensive injuries, he is going to Azkaban for the rest of his life and I've added in the clause to his paperwork that when he goes to the Wizengamot and is sentenced he will be disinherited from his estate and Gringotts vaults. Everything will automatically go to Theo" he smiled proudly and I leaned out of my chair to hug him.
"Thank you, thank you so much Harry" I cried turning to Pansy and hugging her as we cried with relief.
"No problem Orion, you can see him if you want? I'll let you break the news" he smirked and I nodded "Yes I want to see his face when he finds out" I whispered.
He led us to a heavily warded room pressing his palm to the door it clicked open and we came face to face with Nott Sr magically chained to a table, Harry cast a silencing charm on him and stood to the side of the room. I smiled at him mockingly as he scowled evilly "Ah Nott Sr pleasure to see you again" I crossed my arms in front of me as Pansy coughed to cover a chuckle behind me. I leaned over the table palms flat my face a foot from his, "I wanted the pleasure of telling you, you are going to Azkaban for the rest of your life. You will be disinherited from your estate and vaults, Theo gets everything and that doesn't even cover the trauma of having you as his father" I spat licking my lips and turning to Pansy "Hey Pans, now Theo isn't with Luna anymore maybe we could take him into muggle London find him a nice pretty muggle girl to destroy the Nott pureblood line" I let my mouth hang open in humorous shock with a gasp right in his face as he shook in rage, his face bright red screaming in complete silence.
I cupped my ear "What was that Nott Sr? You think it's a brilliant idea, well me too I have been praised for my good ideas once or twice in my life" I smiled blowing a kiss in his face. "Have a shit life we'll take care of your son, treat him how he's supposed to be treated" I winked at him and walked out of the room behind Pansy Harry chuckling on our tail.
Pansy cackled loudly when the door shut "Fucking hell Orion just when I think I can't love you any more. I wish I had a camera to catch that look on his face that was fucking epic".
I pulled Harry in for a hug again "Thank you Harry that was so much better than I thought it would be. Could you owl me when you have his trial date please?" I asked and he laughed nodding his head "Yeah no worries Orion, hope Theo makes a speedy recovery" he said as he walked off in the opposite direction to us.
Back at the hospital Pansy giggled as she mocked Nott Sr's face, Draco opened the door urgently and my stomach dropped rushing into the room. Theo was awake and he smiled weakly at me as I rushed to his side gently cupping his face and pressing my forehead to his "Thank Merlin" I turned to Draco "What's the healer said? Results?" I asked eagerly, he smiled and tucked a curl behind my ear.
"He's going to be okay his voice is coming back and he'll need treatment for his tremors but he's going to be okay" he huffed a laugh and I tilted my head back sighing in relief.
"Tell him Orion" Pansy buzzed excitedly and I laughed turning to Theo who had a humorous eyebrow raised.
"Your father was arrested, I broke his nose punching him in the face, with the use of an unforgivable on you and all of the illegal artefacts they procured in the manor.. he's going to Azkaban for the rest of his life. And when he's sentenced he's going to be disinherited of the estate and the vaults it all goes to you. And I got to tell him I laughed in his face and told him" he went wide eyed beaming at me and shaking his head slowly.
"Love you" he croaked squeezing my arm in thanks, Pansy took the seat next to us "She also told him we were going to take you to muggle London to find a muggle girl and ruin his pureblood line. His face was priceless I thought he was going to combust" Pansy laughed throwing her head back. Draco squeezed my shoulder leaning down to kiss me "I wish I could have seen that, do you want a coffee you haven't slept in two days" he asked and I nodded my head with a smile in reply.
I shooed Theo over and snuggled in to his side "I was so scared Theo seeing you like that" I sighed and he squeezed my upper arm as exhaustion took over and I fell asleep on his shoulder.
