Camila sleepily blinked her eyes open upon hearing her alarm phone. Her thoughts immediately went to Lauren and how lonely she felt at the moment.
She looked beside her at the spot next to her where the dark haired usually slept. Sighing, she climbed out of bed to prepare for her shower.
As the warm water gently sprayed her face, the brunette began to have second thoughts about her opinions last night. She realized that she could trust Lauren and maybe she did overreact a little bit.
However, Laur was still in the wrong for not telling her about the attractive journalist.
Minutes later, the small brunette was slipping on her bathrobe. She went over to the bathroom mirror and brushed through her wet hair.
I might as well wake Lauren, so she's not late for the interview. She thought.
Camila opened the bedroom door and gasped at the sight before her.
The entire suite was decorated top to bottom with dozens of assorted flowers. She placed a hand over her chest to make sure her heart was still beating.
She walked further into the room and spotted the biggest bouquet on the living room table with a large envelope that said, "Camz."
The brunette held her breath and plucked the pink envelope from the arrangement of flowers. She carefully opened it and pulled out a card that read:
"Camz,
I want to apologize for the things I said last night. You were right about everything and I'm sorry. You're only one that I've ever love, I can't imagine being with anyone else but you.
I love you, baby. Please forgive me.
—Laur."
Camila couldn't help but smile as she read and re-read the small note. Suddenly, the sound of the hotel door could be heard opening and closing. The green eyed stepped around the corner and stopped dead in her tracks when she saw the brunette standing there.
"Hey." Lauren said hesitantly.
Camila's s heart skipped a beat when Lauren had entered the room. "Hi." She replied. She looked down at Lauren's hands and noticed she was carrying a tray of food.
"Oh, I...wanted to surprise you with your favorite breakfast. Pancakes." She raised the tray slightly. "I can heat it up if it's too cold."
The green eyed set the tray down on a nearby table. She could barely look at the brunette.
"Laur, how did you do all this?" Camila asked in amazement.
"I hired a crew of people from a flower shop and they did this. I paid extra for the late night order but, it was worth it for my girl."
Lauren received a warm smile from her girlfriend and she smiled back.
"The roses are beautiful. Thank you."
"You're welcome." Lauren took a step forward.
Camila held her breath as the basketball player slowly came closer.
"I know this doesn't come close to making up for what I said last night but..."
The brunette smiled lightly.
"It comes pretty close."
Lauren now stood before the brunette and looked down into Camila's eyes. The brunette could see the rawness and fear of rejection in those emerald eyes.
She hadn't seen that kind of look from the basketball player since they were younger.
Camila furrowed her brows in confusion when Lauren looked at her ear strangely.
"What is it?" The doctor asked.
"I don't know..." Lauren reached behind Camila's ear. "It's a..."
When the green eyed brought her hand in front of Camila's s face, she was holding a red rose. The brunette laughed and Lauren grinned upon hearing that giggle she loved.
Brown eyes smiled up at her as Camila took the rose. The reaction melted Lauren's heart.
"I'm sorry, Camz." She's stuck out her bottom lip slightly.
"I'm sorry too."
They leaned in and shared an Eskimo kiss. Lauren wrapped her arms around the brunette's waist and Camila held Lauren around the neck. They hugged each other closely.
"I love you," Camila whispered.
"I love you more."
Lauren kissed the brunette on the cheek. When they looked into each other's eyes, it didn't take long for their lips to meet in a passionate kiss. Camila put her full heart into the kiss. It was so sweet and thoughtful of Lauren to do this for her. They slowly ended the kiss and vulnerable green eyes studied the brunette carefully.
"Do you want to move in with me?" Lauren asked before she could stop herself.
"What?" Camila's expression softened in surprise. She needed her girlfriend to repeat what she had just said.
"Do you want to live together?" The green eyed spoke carefully.
Tears began to well up in the brunette's eyes.
"Oh, Laur." She breathed with a smile."Really?"
Lauren nodded her head slowly.
"Yes, Really."
"Oh, baby!" Camila squealed jumping into the Lauren's arms. "Yes! Yes, I'll move in with you!"
Surprised by her girlfriend outburst of excitement, Lauren couldn't help but laugh. She held onto the legs that were draped around her waist. Camila smothered her with endless kisses on her face and neck.
Grinning like a fool, the brunette looked into Lauren's eyes.
"When should we do it?"
"As soon as we get back to Sacramento . My guys can take care of everything."
The doctor brushed back Lauren's bangs.
"Oh, baby. Let's not fight anymore." Camila whispered, pressing their foreheads together.
Lauren gently rubbed Camila's back and held her firmly.
"I hope we never do."
Still holding the brunette in her arms, Lauren began to walk towards the bedroom and Camila snuggled her head on her girlfriend's shoulder. Lauren gently laid the smaller woman on the large bed and then straddled her hips.
"But do you know what I like about fighting?"
Lauren asked, leaning in placing soft kisses on Camila's neck.
The brunette gasped and grinned, knowing what her girlfriend was thinking.
"Making up." Camila groaned.
Lauren sat up and smiled down at her.
"You know it." She pulled on the tie closing Camila's robe and the housecoat fell open revealing the brunette's beautiful body.
"Laur, what about your inter..." Camila's words were cut off with a soft kiss.
"Screw the interview." Lauren whispered as she ran her hand from Camila's neck down to her left breast. "All I care about right now is making love to you."
She cupped her breast gently and the brunette's nipple became hard almost immediately. Camila's moan was covered with a sensual kiss. Green eyes shined brightly into brown and they both smiled.
"I love you, Camz. You have no idea how much." Lauren whispered emotionally.
Camila smiled sadly, unable to hold back the tears that fell from her eyes.
"I know, baby. Believe me I know."
Lauren met Camila's lips and they shared a deep kiss.
