Sanai been in a coma for about 2 months now and I haven't left the hospital none at all. She got transported to a hospital in Chicago. Kayla would bring me clothes and India and them would come up here the most they could. Durk been at home the whole 2 months and India been trying to get him out the room but he not coming out.
I woke up in the middle of the night from having a nightmare about the whole situation but in this one Melly never caught that nigga and Sanai tried fighting back so he hurt Sanai bad. I looked over at Sanai and held her hand she looked peaceful like all her problems just went away. I took the ring off my finger and put it on hers
I closed my eyes "listen here nigga" I started "ian that nigga to fall on my knees and ask you fa shit every time sumn go wrong but I'm asking for this one thing aight? wake my wife up bru you playing too much now. I'd hate to have to beat you and tooka ass just wake ha up nigga."
"Amen bitch" I added
"I love you ma" I sighed pecking her lips and closing my eyes.
~ Sanai POV ~
I woke up in a bright room "ahh you're finally woke" someone walked up to me saying "there's someone here to see you"
She walked out and the next person who walked in shocked me
"Princess?" The voice said
"Dad?" I asked
"I'm so glad you're okay" he said hugging me "but you're here too early"
"What do you mean?" I asked
"It's not your time" He said
I sighed "I understand but I end up getting up everytime. I stay to myself I get hurt. I be more open I get hurt it's just like the world against me" I said sitting up
"Nahhh" he said laughing "aye who this is and whea my daughter?" He asked looking around

He brought me over this this screen thingy showing me a 2 months on a calendar and he pointed to March 19 and said "this when it all happened. Press it"
I pressed it and it showed me in the hospital bed with everyone looking at me
"See? You surrounded by all them people that love you. You got a good heart but not everybody know how to treat it"
"Wait so this like a interactive thing?" I asked and he nodded
"Idk if you heard but everybody in this room said something to you." He said "tap one of them to remember"
I tapped Muwop first then Reese then Megan and Ari then Melly then India listening to every single one.
I paused for a moment before playing Von's then Durk's
"I been watching over yaal the whole time. I don't like yaal not talking" My dad said clicking on a live feed
"Where I fuck up at?" Durk said looking up " My sister in the hospital barely making it cause of me. Give me a sign assum. Tell me she don't hate me"
My dad exited off the feed "where it go Nai?" He asked
"Where what go?" I asked
"The bond?" He asked
I scrolled on the screen thingy finding the date Durk found out about the screenshots and pressed play letting him watch the video
"You know he always been stupid" my dad said laughing
"Ik" I said "this hurt tho, him turning everybody against me with no explanation and not talking to me but claiming he always here for me. It hurt"
He pulled me in a hug "ik princess but everyone makes mistakes and he pray for you to talk to him day and night" he said showing me Durk praying every night
"Aye listen here bitch I'm sick of praying to yo ass if yeen gone wake my sister up just say that bitch ass nigga" Durk said in one video

I walked back over to the board and pressed on Von in the hospital room

"I'm worried that if we have kids and Von is still doing what he's doing now one night Von won't come home. I'm worried that if Von or Durk don't come home one night imma lose myself and I don't want my kids to see me going through that. I did it once but I don't think I can do it again"
He hugged me and said "okay I got a question .. would you rather not have kids and see Von be someone big knowing he wouldn't have no one to follow in his footsteps or would you have Von be someone big and seeing his kids living through his legacy?" He asked
"The second one" I mumbled
"Exactly" he said "Do he know you feel this way?" He asked
I shook my head no "I was supposed to watch his interview the day it happened" I remembered
"The 19th?" He asked and nodded
He pressed a few things on the board and pulled up the interview and pressed play
"Alright wassup yaal we got my boy King Von and Lil Durk in the building"

Then Durk introduced us so I asked him why he ain't never bring him around and he like "ShE dOnT nEeDa Be ArOuNd ThIs" Von laughed mocking Durk
"Nigga yk ion talk like that" Durk laughed
"So then me and Durk at the stu again one day and then Sanai come in cause Durk had sumn fa ha but then Durk girl start tripping so he had to leave so it's me and ha so Im like listen to this so I play fuck yo man"
"Wait fuck yo man about her?" Another interviewer asked
"Hell yeah" Durk laughed "nigga a simp" he said causing Von to straight face him
"Don't make me start on yo bean headed ass" Von said
"So we in the stu and I play the song and she blushing and shit so I know shorty feeling me but she talm bout she had a boyfriend but ian give a fuck so I kissed ha then ha bitch ass bf come beating on the door"
"Rest in piss" Durk laughed
"Alright so fast forward she broke up with ha bf or whateva so then me and Durk got in a real bad fight ova ha cause he ain't want me fucking with ha so they stop talking to me fa a month-"
"Who won the fight?" The 1st interviewer asked and Durk busted out laughing
"That nigga beat my ass" Durk said
"Gotta know" Von said "so then me and Durk go to jail and Sanai come visit and basically told me we should just stay friends so then I get outta jail or whatever Durk still mad at me but we kicking it so we at all the stu and I get in the booth and I was mad as hell ova sumn shit so I made 2 am and I get out the booth and Sanai gone so I asked where she went and Durk like oh she ain't feel good so I go to ha house and we got into a real bad argument I broke ha shit and all so then the next day she give me a note talm bout letting go or whateva so like 2 or 3 months later we at ha house and she come downstairs so we talking and she say sumn about the back of the note so I look at the back and she calling me toxic and shit and I'm like this girl crazy as hell so then I ask when she gone stop playing like she ain't feeling me like I know she feeling me so she like get my name tatted so I booked the appointment and then we go to this event hosting that shit was decent then we get home and she show me ha tattoo and I fuck with it and I finally asked ha and she said yeah"
"Nigga got my sister name tatted on him before he even cuffed" Durk laughed
"Nigga you cheated on yo girl with India" Von spat
"Damn" interviewer 2 said "she was giving you a run fa yo money huh?" He asked
"Hell yeah" Durk laughed "his ass was stressing and shit "why she ain't tell me she love me back" Durk said mocking Von
"Nigga omg" Von said "shutcho bitch ass up before I get to talking shit about you"
"That's my baby tho girl got my heart and all" he added "we gone have 6 kids they names gone be King Von Jr, Stretch Gang, Get Back Gang, From 64th, From 65th, and Not From 63rd" he said counting on his fingers
"Hell nawl nigga" Durk said "you is not naming my nieces and nephews that"
"Yaal argue like twins fr" the interviewer said "but how was fighting a murder case?" He asked
They started talking about the murder case then they had Durk talking about India.
"Go down there and talk to him about it and talk to Durk"
He added
"But I liked being here with you" I pouted
"When it's your time I promise we can do whatever" he said kissing my cheek "you don't age up here" he chuckled
I laid back and pulled the covers on me "see you later princess" he said kissing my forehead
I closed my eyes and it felt like I was floating.
I opened my eyes and closed them back because of the lights in my face. I tried to move but like I wasn't moving. I looked over and saw Von laying on me I tried to move again but I didn't work.
~ Von POV ~
I was sleep when somebody squeezed my hand a little" I jumped cause one time a man nurse came in here touching my print like my girl aint right hea talm bout "she don't know what's going on"
I beat his ass and told him if he snitch imma shoot my gun up his ass. That shit sounded gay but atm I meant it.
I looked up and saw Sanai with her eyes open. But she looked like she was drifting off into space assum so I got up and got a nurse.
She walked in the room and checked the shit they be checking hell idk all I know is she woke.
Apparently when she passed out she hit her head and then her not eating or sleeping regularly caused her to go into a coma also becoming malnutrition.
After a while a nurse came up to me "she's waking up but her body is unresponsive. The most we've gotten her to do is open her eyes but she's improving" I nodded my head and stepped out the room calling Durk
"Wassup" he mumbled
"Nigga you sound like yo breath stank" I said mugging the phone "but Nai waking up"
His eyes got real wide "fr?" He asked
"Yeah I was sleep and she squeezed my hand a lil. It wasn't much but I felt it"
"Alright here I come" he said getting up
"Brush yo teeth first" I said
"Bye nigga" he said hanging up
The nurse called me back in the room and said "we ran a test and she didn't get any points but she's still recovering so no worries" she smiled

Like 15 minutes later Durk walked in and I thought he was a homeless man at first

"Hell yeah" he said "this shit stressful as fuck"

"Aye" I said "she came home and was talking to me what bout you?" I said showing us texting "you wish that was you huh?" I laughed
"Fuck out my face" he said almost slapping my phone out my hand
"I'a beatcho ass" I said bucking at him causing him to jump

He walked in the room and walked over to Sanai causing her to open her eyes, squint,roll them then close them again
"How yo ass unresponsive and still rolling yo eyes" he asked
I slapped him in the back of the head "shut the fuck up"
He smacked his teeth "you call gangnem?" he asked and I shook my head no pulling out my phone
"Aye" I said calling Muwop
"Wassup bru" he said
"Sanai waking up"
"Fr?" He asked

"Aight" he said hanging up
Durk ass kept trying to shake Sanai awake I'm not that smart but Megan told me you can't shake nobody from a coma. Yes I tried.
"Nigga stop shaking ha before she wake up like you" Reese said walking in
"Wym like me?" Durk asked
"Loose in the head" Reese replied
"Ik yo ass ain't talking" Durk said
They was a arguing for a good 5 minutes..

~ Sanai POV ~
I heard more voices talking so I opened my eyes and seen Muwop.
At first when I heard talking it was like I was underwater but it was getting clearer so I decided to try to move again. I tried to move my right and it moved a little and Muwop looked confused "aye" he said looking at Von and Von got up and walked over to me "wassup?" He asked "sumn wrong?"
Muwop shook his head and said "nah" and then he looked back at me "do that again gang"
I tried to move my hand again but it didn't work "damn gang you broke ha" Reese said walking up
Muwop smacked his teeth "nigga we ain't bringing you nowhere else"
Out of nowhere it felt like somebody was stepping on my chest. I started inhaling in and out fast trying to catch my breath
Fuck. I was having a asthma attack.
"Aye what's happening" Reese asked
"Ionk" Muwop said "yo" he said looking back at Durk
"Shit aye get a nurse" Durk said running over to me causing Megan to run out the room
"Aye India check ha bag she got ha inhaler in there?"
India started looking through my bag pulling some stuff out looking for it
"It's not in here" she said

A nurse ran in and hooked me up to a machine "okay sweety I need for you to breathe"

After a while my breathing slowed down and Durk walked up to me "why yo ass don't carry yo inhaler with you nomo"
Von got in the bed with me "what that was?" He asked looking at Durk
"Yeen ain't know she had asthma?"
He shook his head no "yaal knew?" He asked looking around the room causing everybody to shake they head yes besides Megan
"Damn I'm late as hell" he added
"It was real bad when you was in jail and like 3 months after you got out" Durk said
It was around 1:30 so India left to go get lunch and my arm felt like it was going to sleep so I tried moving it and Muwop said "Aye she did it again"
"Damn nigga is you just watching ha at this point?" Durk asked
"Nah I'm just noticing movement whenever somebody move" he shrugged "yaal ass ain't alert that why yaal always caught lacking"
Von sat up and him and Durk snapped they heads at him "who?" Von said "who always get caught lacking" he asked
"Damn bru I'm just playing ik you be dropping em" he laughed
"Aye yaal" Reese said "that shiesty pooh nigga hired security" he laughed
"Hell nah" Durk laughed "we gone get his bitch ass"

2 nurses walked in and one said "I'm just checking in on her"
"Aye she been moving" Von said getting up
They looked at each other then me "okay we're going to do a test to see how responsive she is"
One walked up to me and said "can you nod your head for me?" And I nodded my head
She picked up my hand and made the number 2 with it and said "can you feel this?" and I nodded
"Okay have you tried to talk yet?" She asked and I shook my head no
"Try to say something for me" and I nodded and tried to speak but no words came out
"It's okay" she said noticing the worried look on Von face "it's the first day you're not expected to be fully recovered"
"Have you tried to walk?"
I shook my head no "you wanna try?" She asked and I nodded lifting myself up
"Can you get me a walker?" She asked the other nurse
"They finna have yo ass walking around here like my grandma" Reese laughed and I flipped him off and Muwop slapped him upside the head
The nurse came back in with the walker and put it in front of me. Von stood by the bed and I grabbed the walker and tried to stand up. I stood up but quickly fell into Von's arms.
"Wanna try again?" She asked and I nodded trying again this time I stayed up "okay try to take a couple steps for me" she said
I tried to walk but I didn't move the nurse nodded and said "it's okay, lay back down for me"
Von picked me up and laid me back down on the bed.
She walked over to me and lifting my leg bending my leg "can you feel this?" She asked and I shook my head no
She made a 😬 face but quickly hid it when I looked at her.
"Okay imma go tell the doctor your results and he'll be in shortly" she said causing me to nod "sorry guys visiting hours are over"
"We gone be back tmr" Durk said getting up and I nodded and Von dapped them up and said "stay safe"

They left and Von got back in the bed with me and I played with his chain around my neck while peeling the skin off my lips

I pushed his phone back and he smacked his lips.

"If I'm paralyzed you gone leave me?"
He started laughing and I look confused and he said "oh you fr?" And I nodded

I looked back down and my hand and he lifted my face up "why yo ass always looking down when I talk to you? You tryna leave a nigga assum?" He asked and I shook my head no
"I wasn't letting yo ass leave me anyways." He said kissing me
"If yo ass wasn't hurt I'd fuck the shit outta you in this hospital on King David" he mumbled and I laughed pushing him away

*1 1/2 month later*
Today was the day I was getting discharged from the hospital. I was healed and they had a physical therapist come for the last month to help me walk again.
My regular nurse came in the room and said "today's the day? Are you ready?" She asked
"Yes girl I'm tired of being here" I laughed
"I'm tired of seeing you here. Please be safe" she signed and I nodded
"Okay well due to you being malnutrition the doctor prescribed you pills that'll give you a appetite and he refilled your insomnia pills and your inhaler" she said and I nodded again
"Imma go get your papers and get ready to you can be discharged" she said walking out
"Wake yo ass up" I said slapping Von
"Girl I almost hurt you" he said getting up "you ready to be home?" He asked
"Hell yeah" I laughed
"Guess what?" I said
"What?"
"So when I was in my coma or whatever I saw my dad" I said

"He showed me when I was in the hospital and yaal was saying that stuff to me. Then he showed me Durk praying for me to talk to him" I said

I got discharged from the hospital and we went home and I felt good and everybody was at the house.

I filled him in on everything my dad said about Durk

I followed him upstairs and watched him take stuff out the closet and put it on the bed

I laughed and walked downstairs "not stink stink mad" I said noticing Megan and Ari and Reese and Muwop was gone.

I nodded then hugged India "I'm good see yaal later"
They left and I locked the door and went back upstairs and laid in the bed and Von pulled me closer.
"I'm still not talking to yo ass but fuck with a 63rd nigga and I'm killing you and him" He mumbled causing me to laugh
"But fr yk you can always talk to me right?" He asked and I nodded "and I'm always listening i promise" he added
