Tuesday
Y/n POV:
I woke up to see my arms wrapped around Tom's waist. My head was resting on his lap and he was sitting on his phone. I quickly sat up noticing that he was only in a towel. "Oh you're up" Tom said standing up. I nodded as I watched him walk into his closet. He came back into the room wearing grey sweatpants. "Do you want anything to eat?"
"Um not really" I explained. My stomach still hurt because of how hard I was crying before I fell asleep.
"Okay. I'll go get you a drink. I'll be right back" Tom explained. I nodded as I watched him walk out of the room. Paddy quickly came in because I assumed he saw Tom leave.
"Are you okay?" He asked standing in the doorway.
"Yeah I'm okay now." I responded. Paddy came over to me and gave me a hug.
"Okay I have to get out before Tom sees me in here. He banned me from his room after Sunday" Paddy explained. I laughed and watched as he left the room. After a few minutes Tom came back in with two glasses of water and two bowls of soup.
"I know that you aren't hungry but you need to eat" Tom explained. I nodded and slowly ate the soup.
"You're a good friend Tom" I explained.
"Ouch" he said.
"What?" I asked.
"Friend zoned" he explained.
"Okay the fact that we kissed twice doesn't change anything" I explained.
"Correction. Three times" he explained.
"What-?" I asked before he cut me off with a peck on my lips. I wish it had lasted longer but I don't think either of us are ready for that yet.
"See. Three times." Tom said happy with himself. I giggled.
"Well still it doesn't change anything" I explained. He frowned.
"But I want things to change" he responded.
"Okay fine but I have a set of rules" I explained.
"Rules?" He asked.
"Yes rules. I like to take things so" I explained.
"Okay but only five rules. I have a bad memory" he replied. I nodded.
"Rule number one. No kissing me in school without asking" I explained.
"Can I kiss you on the cheek?" He asked.
"Yes just no lips mister popular man" I explained making him laugh. "Rule number two you can't tell any of your soccer friends"
"Harrison knows" Tom said quickly.
"What how?" I asked.
"Sam showed him" he explained.
"Showed him what exactly?" I questioned.
"Sam got a video of the kiss at the restaurant" Tom answered.
"Well I guess that brings me to my third rule. Let me beat up your brothers" I explained.
"Go ahead" Tom responded. I quickly got up and ran down the hallway towards Sam's room. I opened the door quickly to see him studying at his desk.
"Oh hey what's-?" He questioned before I jumped on him.
"I'm going to kill you" I explained. Sam started laughing before throwing me over his shoulder and bringing me back to Tom's room.
"Seventeen seconds" Tom explained stopping the timer on his phone. Sam put me down next to Tom before leaving the room.
"Rule number four" I began "Paddy can't know"
"He already saw the kiss" Tom explained.
"Yeah I know but he's just so little and innocent and I don't want our relationship to be ruined" I responded.
"Okay fine. I won't tell Paddy" Tom said.
"Thank you" I responded "lastly I'm adopting your mom as my mom" Tom laughed.
"Of course" he said "now are you my girlfriend"
"That's a strong word" I explained.
"Please" Tom said making puppy dog eyes at me.
"Will you follow my rules?" I asked.
"Yes. Y/n Y/l/n I will follow your rules if you will be my girlfriend" he explained holding my hand.
"Thomas Holland I will be your girlfriend" I responded smiling from ear to ear.
"Yes!" Tom yelled excitedly before kissing my forehead multiple times.
Wednesday
Tom POV:
I woke up to an alarm from my phone. Time for school I guess. I looked over to see y/n cuddled up next to me in the blanket. She was somehow sleeping through the alarm. "Y/n wake up!" I said gently shaking her. She groaned.
"I'm up" she complained. I laugh.
"Good morning cranky head" I said standing up and heading into the closet to get dressed. I put on some jeans and a sweatshirt.
"You look cute" she explained. That's something I'm going to have to get used to.
"So do you. Girlfriend" I said putting the emphasis on girlfriend. She laughed and I placed a kiss on her lips.
"Can I borrow your clothes?" She asked.
"Knock yourself out. I'll be downstairs if you need anything" I explained. She nodded and I walked out of the room.
At school
Y/n POV:
It was lunch time so I grabbed my phone from the locker and started heading towards the cafeteria. Once I arrived I sat down at a table. After a few minutes Tom sat next to me. "Hey" he said trying to act as natural as possible. I laughed.
"Hey Tom" I replied.
"What are you doing?" He asked trying to look at my phone.
"Texting Ethan" I explained.
"What?" He asked looking over at my phone to see Instagram open.
"It's a joke" I explained "I blocked him because he was mean"
"Who is this?" He asked looking at one of my liked posts on Instagram.
"Harry Styles" I explained "how do you not know who that is?"
"Is he that man from one direction that you had a crush on in middle school?" Tom asked.
"Maybe" I explained.
"I'm better looking right?" Tom asked holding the phone up next to his face.
"You are very good looking Tom" I said quietly so none of the tables around us would hear.
"You didn't answer the question" Tom said pouting and giving my phone back to me.
"Yes you are better looking but don't let that go to your head" I explained.
"I won't" Tom responded as Harrison sat down.
"You won't what?" Harrison asked
"Nothing" I explained.
"You won't tell anyone that you guys kissed at that restaurant." Harrison explained "oh Tommy you are so dreamy" Harrison said mocking my voice "I know darling. Just kiss me" he said mocking Tom.
"Okay that's not what happened" Tom interrupted.
"Are you guys dating now?" Harrison asked.
"No!" Tom and I answered at the same time.
"Oh my god you guys are dating!" Harrison teased.
"If you tell a soul I will shave your head" I explained.
"Yeah yeah" Harrison said rolling his eyes. "So for when you guys decide to have children I'm thinking of the name John"
"Dude" Tom said to stop Harrison from going any further.
"What? I'm just thinking ahead" Harrison explained.
"I'm not having kids with this weirdo" I explained.
"Hey don't act like you just didn't say I was better looking than Harry Styles!" Tom responded.
"I don't see it" Harrison said looking at Tom.
"Brown eyes" I explained "he looks like a puppy. It's cute"
"So you guys are dating?" Harrison asked again raising his eyebrows up and down.
"Fine we are but don't tell anyone" I explained.
"My lips are sealed" Harrison said gesturing the action of locking his lips.
"Wait I look like a puppy?" Tom asked confused.
"A little bit" I explained.
"I see it" Harrison added.
"Harrison it's only cute when she says it" Tom explained.
"Yeah but you guys need a third wheel. I volunteer myself" Harrison explained.
"Oh no here comes the rest of your soccer friends" I complained putting my head down on the table.
"Hey Tom why did you leave early yesterday?" I heard one of them ask. I knew that Tom wouldn't tell all of them about my family issues so I waited for him to come up with a dumb excuse.
"His dog got stuck in the washer" I heard Harrison explain. Sometimes I wonder how he's made it this far in life.
"Oh dude that's awesome!" I heard one of the boys respond. Did they actually just believe that? Wow at least they are good at soccer because they don't have a lot going on in the upstairs.
"How do you feel about the game on Friday?" One of the other boys asked.
"Pretty good. Its a hard team so coach wants to keep all of the starters in for as long as possible" Tom explained.
"What if we don't win?" Harrison asked.
"Then we don't go to states" Tom responded.
"I want to go to states. I heard we get to stay at a hotel and we get excused from school for a week!" I heard one of the boys comment.
"That's true" Tom explained "so we have to win" Soon the bell rang and everyone got up.
"I hate soccer boys" I said walking in the halls with Tom and Harrison.
"Ouch" Harrison said.
"Not you guys" I explained "the one that thought Tessa actually got stuck in the washer"
"It's a valid excuse" Tom responded.
"Never mind I hate all soccer boys" I explained sighing.
"Can I break rule number one?" Tom asked.
"No no no no there's people in the hallway" I said walking faster to get away from him.
"Nobody would see!" Tom explained catching up to me along with Harrison.
"What's rule number one?" Harrison asked.
"I can't kiss her in school because she doesn't want people to see" Tom explained.
"Well then people don't have to see. I've got this!" Harrison explained. He opened our locker because he knew the combination. "There" Harrison explained.
"People can still see that" I responded.
"Nope" he said guiding me behind the locker door. "Knock yourselves out love birds" he said walking away. "I'm such a good third wheel" he mumbled to himself while walking away.
"Y/n can I kiss you?" Tom asked.
"On the cheek" I explained.
"Guess I'm breaking a rule then" he explained pressing a kiss on my lips. It was longer than the other ones. The other ones were pecks this was a real kiss. I enjoyed the seconds that his lips were pressed against mine before the bell rang and he pulled away.
"Great we're late now we are going to get a detention" I explained.
"I'm never late" Tom explained "follow me" I followed him down the hallway and into the boys locker room.
"I'm not supposed to be in here" I explained.
"Shh act natural" Tom explained "coach I need a pass!" He said walking into one of the offices.
"Anything for my star player" the coach explained as Tom looked back at me and smirked.
"I need one for her too" Tom explained pointing over to me. I waved shyly.
"Tom what did I say about bringing girls into the guys locker room?" The coach asked.
"Oh um she's just my lab partner. Nothing happened" Tom explained.
"Fine Holland" the coach said handing him two passes.
"Thanks" Tom said walking out of his office. We both walked out of the boys locker room. "See? I'm never late"
"You've brought other girls to the boys locker room?" I asked crossing my arms over my chest.
"That was different. Before I realized I was in love with my best friend" Tom explained.
"Good. No more girls" I responded.
"Wasn't planning on it" he said kissing my forehead.
"Can we go to class now?" I asked.
"Yep but one more thing" Tom explained.
"What?" I asked confused.
"This..." he said pulling me closer to him and kissing me.
"Tom we have to go to class!" I said pulling away from him.
"I just want to kiss you" Tom pouted.
"Wait until after school!" I explained.
"You're coming over after school again?" Tom asked.
"Yeah there's no way I'm going back to my own house" I explained.
"Yay! I'll see you later then" he said giving me one last kiss on my forehead before walking away.
