"Oh my!" Gauri says amazed as Omkara rolls off her.
Omkara squeezes his eyes shut, he was so close to ravishing her and she was not helping it in the least. She sighs loudly and hugs him. He quickly turns with his back to her, because he didn't want to scare her. How much he wanted her that instant, it was there for all to see.
"That was.." he cuts her off and says in a clipped tone, "Don't talk about it."
"Oh!" Gauri says sadly, he didn't like the kiss. Looks like he hated it. "This is my first kiss. With practice I am sure I'll..."
"Don't say another word, Gauri." Omkara tells her as he tried to breath.
Gauri sadly lies next to him as she thought about their kiss. She liked it a great deal but looks like he didn't like it. It's just that she never had any practice kissing. Then another thought struck her, he had?
"You know, I have never kissed anyone before." Gauri tells him.
Omkara tries to block out her voice from inside his ears.
"But you seemed to have." Gauri tells him making him frown.
What the hell was she getting at?
"You seemed to have kissed before."
When he ignores her she sits up and asks him "HAVE YOU?"
"Have I what?" he asks back angrily.
"Kissed before?"
"YES!"
"How many girls?"
"I haven't kept count." He replies furiously, still with his back to her, but this conversation was greatly helping. His fury was taking over his passion.
"You know, I have never made out with anyone." Gauri tells him.
Damn! Omkara curses when blood again started flowing back to that one place he didn't want it going.
"I said I haven't made out with anyone." Gauri tells him.
"I heard you!" Omkara replies furiously.
"Have you?" Gauri furiously asks him back not liking him holding on to information that she so badly wanted.
"YES!"
"With many?"
"Shut up, Gauri!"

"If you don't shut your mouth now, I'll kick you out of the bed." Omkara warns her.
God help him, each question she posed he imagined doing that with her and it was not helping him. He was sweating with the AC on!
Gauri really couldn't understand why he was being so angry with her. He kissed her and now he was acting as if he hated it. And she didn't like that one bit, especially when she LOVED it! She wished she could kiss him again, but he was not in the mood. She doubted he would even kiss her if she asked him to kiss her. It was not her fault that she was inexperienced in all this. He might have done everything with other well experienced girls. Everything?
"You know I have never had sex."
Omkara furiously turns to look at her and says "SHUT UP! I know you haven't done anything! So stop telling me about your inexperience and if you want to ask me then just ASK ME! Stop telling me about yours."
"So have you?" Gauri asks frowning, ignoring everything else he has said because right now this was more important to her.
"No. Ask me why."
"Why?" "Because I was going to sleep with a girl I had been making out for a week but then I realized that I would never want to marry a girl who would have slept with another guy. So when I insist on marrying a virgin then I should show her the same courtesy, so since then I stopped fooling around with girls. Have never let anything go beyond harmless flirting after that. You satisfied now?" he asks then without waiting for her answer he lies on the bed.
A while later he hears her.
"Should I say thank you?" she was confused out of her wits.
Omkara couldn't help but chuckle he turns to her and says, "No."
"I was a little confused, you see." Gauri explains.
"You are so cute, Gauri." Omkara says as he caressed her cheeks.
"And you are a nice man, Om." Gauri tells him caressing his cheeks.
Omkara starts grinning and says, "We'll sleep."
"Okay." Gauri replies.
Omkara was about to sleep off when she asks him, "How did you know it was my birthday? Did Papa tell you?"
"I knew."
"How?" Gauri asks shocked.
Omkara starts grinning, "You and my best friend shares the same birthday."
"Oh!" Gauri says she was kind of disappointed that he remembered her birthday because she and his best friend shared the same birthday.
"Because we were invited to your birthday party, I was forced to come for it and miss my friend's party."
Gauri looks at him shocked, "I didn't know. You should have gone for his party."
"Even I wanted. Trust me I have tried, but my parents used to force me saying that you, Harshvardhan uncle and Nayantara aunty will feel bad. Every year I had to miss his party and he throws one hell of a party too." Omkara tells her.
"You should have told me. from this year own wards, whether there is a party for me or not you can go for your friend's party." Gauri tells him.
Omkara smiles at her "Thanks, Gauri."
Gauri was a little upset that he didn't say that she was his wife and now he would attend her parties. But then she was happy he was being honest with her.
"But I used to have my revenge." Omkara tells her.
"How?" Gauri asks frowning.
"Didn't you ever wonder why my parents gave you teddy bears as birthday gifts every year?" Omkara cheekily asks her.
"I did!" Gauri says amazed.
"I used to lie to them that you loved teddy bears and they buy you teddy bears every single year!"
"And I used to have a difficult time finding a spot for those teddy bears in my room so they don't get offended that I didn't appreciate their gift!" Gauri says glaring at him making him laugh.
"And you were never fond of soft toys too, right?" Omkara asks her.
"What the hell am I going to do with a teddy bear? Carry it around?" Gauri asks angrily which only made Omkara burst out laughing.
"Why don't you take the day off? It's your birthday right?" Omkara tells her.
"Off?"
"Yeah, sit home and relax. I'll give you a leave note tomorrow." He says laughing he couldn't believe he was responsible for giving leave notes for her now.
"What about you?"
"Have to go to office. You sit at home."
"Okay!" Gauri says smiling excitedly.
"And evening we'll order something. Don't cook." Omkara tells her.
Gauri was watching TV when Omkara calls her. "Gauri, can you put my clothes for washing?" Omkara asks her.
"Yeah, okay." Gauri replies.
Gauri starts taking his dirty clothes from the laundry basket when she sees a gift wrapped box in it. She takes it out excitedly and opens it. She finds a note in it
Happy birthday, Gauri!
(1) Wanted to get you a birthday dress but didn't know your size. So sneaking around I managed to find out your size of only these, so please adjust with these.
She opens it to find a jeans and a pretty top. She chuckles and quickly changes into it. She was about to sit down when she felt something inside the jeans pocket and quickly takes it out to find out another tiny envelope gift wrapped. She opens it to find a debit card and a note.
(4) Not sure if I can trust you with a credit card, so debit card it is ;).

Gauri happily starts laughing seeing the note and then she wonders what gift she could have missed. She starts frowning and remembers that he had asked her to wash his clothes. She wondered if her gift was somewhere in his clothes. She starts going through his clothes but finds nothing. She disappointedly thinks for a while, then hurries to the washing machine and opens it to find two gifts.
(2) Not sure whether you figured it out or you found this when you decided to do laundry. But still the gift is yours.
She opens the gift to find a beautiful chain with a diamond pendant in it. She opens the other gift wondering how many more gifts he has planned for her. She opens the gift to find a matching diamond ring.
(3) Something to go with the other gift.

Gauri excitedly looks wondering where her next birthday gift could be. She quickly calls up Omkara. "OM!"
"How did you like your gifts?"
"AWESOME! I just didn't expect all these! When did you do all these?" Gauri asks excitedly.
"When I send you off to your beauty parlor yesterday." Omkara tells her chuckling.
"So you stuck at 4th gift... huh?" Omkara asks her.
"How did you know?"
"I know."
"So where are the rest?"
"All in good time, sweetheart." Omkara tells her and hangs up the phone.
Gauri wonders where her gifts could be then deciding to wait for him to give her a clue. As much as she hated waiting she decided to play by his rules as he seemed to have went to a lot of trouble for her. An hour later she gets an sms from him and checks it.
Always eat vegetables, Gauri.
Gauri runs to the kitchen and takes the vegetable box and starts taking out everything. Underneath she finds a layer of chocolates with a note.

Gauri hurries to open the door and finds a flower bouquet for her.

Gauri hurries to the shoe rack to find two gifts there. On the gifts it was marked 7 and 8.
She opens the one marked 7 to find tap dance shoes.

She opens the other one to salsa dancing shoes.
(8) Can I take a moment and gift myself something? Yes, thank you :). We are going to have fun at the salsa classes.
Gauri find a bunch of gifts all over the house during the day.

It was evening close to the time Omkara was supposed to reach and Gauri opens the wrapper to find a note and a gift voucher.

Gauri hurries to the bed and looks under it to find a huge gift. She touches it and she knew exactly what the gift was. She burst out laughing as she pulled out the huge teddy bear. She opens the gift wrapping to find a teddy that reached a little above her waist. She sees a note and takes it out.

Since Gauri already had that talk she turns the page to read the message.
This is the last teddy bear you are going to get on your birthday because of me, because your birthday is more important to me now.
Gauri smiles happily as she read the message. Tears of joy stung her eyes and she quickly wipes it. She hears the door opening and runs to him. Seeing her running to him he happily smiles at her.
She hugs him and says "This was the best birthday ever."
"That's all I wanted." Omkara tells her.
"Now before I drop your cake and our food, move." Omkara tells her.
That's when she noticed the packet he was holding. She moves back and he sets it up on the table. They have dinner and the cake.
As they got ready for bed Gauri takes out her jewellery box and starts keeping the chain and ring in it. As she was arranging it her mangal sutr which was in the box gets entangled with one of her ear rings and as she tried to untangle them her mangal sutr breaks.
"Oh God!" Gauri gasps as she tried to pick up all the black beads from the floor.
"What happened?" Omkara asks as he came out of the bathroom.
"My mangal sutr broke." Gauri tells him as she sat on the floor picking it up.
Omkara sits next to her and helps her. "It's okay, Gauri. I will get it repaired tomorrow itself." Omkara tells her.
"Yeah Om. It's no issue. Even if it takes time it is fine. It is just a chain." Gauri says casually.
"It's your mangal sutra, Gauri."
"This doesn't mean anything to me, Om." Gauri tells him as she put everything in a small packet.
"Shouldn't it mean something, Gauri?" Omkara asks a little hurt. This mangal sutr was a symbol of their marriage.
"You put it on me thinking I am di and I let you put it on me thinking you are Shivaay. This doesn't mean anything to me." Gauri tells him.
Omkara didn't know how to argue that point. She hands him the packet.
"But Om, one day... not tomorrow... one day... will you get me a mangal sutr?" Gauri asks him.
"You want me to get you a mangal sutr?"
"Yeah, one that would mean something to us?" Gauri explains.
Omkara smiles at her, "Will do."
They were lying on the bed and Omkara was in hell. She was lying so close to him and she kept making him put his hand over her stomach. He had to force his hand to not inch up and touch her. Her smell, her body heat, their proximity, bloody her thoughts were driving him mad. When he felt himself getting turned on he turns over giving her his back.

Omkara was in heaven and hell at the same time. Gauri shrieks and jumps out of the bed when she realizes what she was holding was a part of him.
Omkara died of mortification.
"OM!" Gauri says shocked.
"Don't say a word!!" Omkara says as he kneeled on the bed.
"Oh my God!" Gauri says hyperventilating. "I can't believe it!" Gauri says as she tried to control her heart beat.
Omkara loses his temper and says, "You kiss me and you talk about having sex with me. Then every f**king night you rub yourself on me, hugging me, lying close to me and you don't expect me to get turned on by it? I am a 26year old virgin! There is so little to what I can control!"
Gauri looks at him in shock and then she just couldn't help looking down at him. She was staring and it was not helping, it was making matters worse.
"STOP STARING AT IT!" Omkara screams at her.
"STOP MAKING IT POINT AT ME!"

They kept looking at each other for a while and then she asks him, "What do you want me to do?"
"Obviously you are not going to have sex with me. So let's just sleep."
And he lies down with his back towards her.
From then onwards they hardly spoke to each other. A small touch would set them on fire and Gauri would run the opposite way. Omkara was sitting and watching TV when Gauri comes out of the bathroom after her shower in her kurta.
"STOP WALKING AROUND NAKED!" Omkara screams at her at his wits end.
He was so close to going crazy. She was driving him insane, and all he could think about was having sex with her. Gauri couldn't make it any clearer that she was not interested.
Gauri was at her wits end. How could she make him understand that she wanted to have sex with him? She couldn't very well go and tell him that. Ever since she found out that he wanted to have sex with her, she hasn't thought of anything else. She even dreams about it! Gauri runs to the bathroom and wears her jeans. "Why the hell did you change your soap?" Omkara asks her fuming at her.
She rolls over to look at him and says, "This is the one you gifted me for my birthday. Is the smell bothering you?"
"YES!" the smell was one hell of a turn on for him.
"Really? I kind of like it. When I was showering I was thinking..."
"SHUT. UP!"
Omkara says as images of her showering came to his mind.
"You have become very rude nowadays." Gauri says sadly.
"Please forgive me for being rude. A man can take only so much frustration in life. My body has needs which are being denied and I am sorry if that makes me cranky." Omkara tells her angrily as he turned to look at her.
Not able to hold his glare anymore she turns over to her side. Now they slept back to back. She was so pissed at him, she wanted to do it as much as him but he was so stupid to see it!
"Stop pulling the blanket!" Gauri angrily tells him as she pulled the blanket.
He angrily pulls it and she who had the blanket all rolled over her was pulled away with the blanket. She falls slamming on to him and her hand again falls on his private area. She shrieks and starts to jump up when he angry holds her and rolls her over and lies on top of her. Then he intimately touches her.
"You see how much I want you? But I am not a bloody rapist! So stop acting like I'll rape you. As much as I want to have sex with you I am not going to force you into it." Omkara furiously tells her.
"Leave my hand you, stupid idiotic moron!" Gauri angrily says getting turned on like never before and he acting all stupid was the breaking point for her.
Omkara quickly leaves her hand but doesn't get off her.
She slaps him. "I am girl! How the hell do you expect me to come and tell you that I want to do it?" Gauri asks him angrily.
"What?" Omkara asks shocked.
"I tried giving you hints for days and you are just a bloody blind who kept blaming me."
"What hints?" Omkara asks confused, he had been on the lookout for hints and he definitely didn't get any.
"I kept giving you come get me smiles!"
"What? How come I never saw that?"
"I did."
"Show me now!"
Gauri pulls her lips nervously and starts blinking.
"That's your come get me smile? It looked like you were a sheep who was being taken for slaughtering!"
"That is not how it is supposed to look!" Gauri says outrage. "Let me check." Gauri says as she tried to push him off so she could get up from the bed and check the mirror.
He pushes her further down and asks her, "Then why did you run away every time I tried coming close to you?"
"As much as I want to do it with you, your thing scares me." Gauri says worried.
Omkara starts smiling compliments! Now they were getting somewhere.
"Gauri, the size.."
"Size? I am not taking about size!" Gauri cuts him off.
"Then?" Omkara asks confused.
"My friends who have done this told me that the first time was bloody painful. So your thing scares me, Om."
Omkara sighs, "I have heard that it hurts, Gauri. But there is no way around it. You'll have to go through that, all I can do is go as gentle, as slow and with as much as love I can."
Gauri thinks for a while and says, "I know what you are saying is right, but I am still scared."
"If you want I'll give you more time." Omkara says and starts to roll over when she pulls him back by his collar.
"One day I have to go through this pain, right?"
"There will be pleasure after the pain."
"You promise that?"
"I'll try my best."
"Okay, then let's do it." Gauri says.
"Can't you be a little romantic?" Omkara asks grinning.
"Make love to me, husband." Gauri says in a sexy tone.
