The next morning you woke up well-rested and in your bed. You checked your phone and saw a text message from someone you hated
Mom: Hey sweety! How are you? How's school?
''UHHHHH'' You screamed
Levi walked into your room and asked
''Hey, is everything okay?''
''Yeah just some.....stuff'' You say giving him a weak smile
''What's wrong?'' He asked sitting down onto your bed
You show him your phone
''Mom, hey sweety how are you? How's school?'' He reads out
''And?'' He asked
''I just...my mom never texts me, so she must want something from me'' You say
''What if she's just worried?'' Levi asks
''She hasn't asked me a thing for like 9 months and now all of a sudden she....''
''Oh, I'm sorry'' Levi says
''It is okay. I just....wish I would have a mom like yours. She's so sweet and nice, and caring''
''Well umm....yeah about my mom'' Levi says
''Is something wrong ?''

''Is something wrong ?'' Y/N asked with pure worry in her eyes
It felt good seeing that she cares
''No, no, she just, wants to visit because her birthday is coming up'' I say
''Oh really?'' Y/N says with a smile
''If you don't want them visiting it's totally okay! I can cancel '' I say
''Are you kidding? They are so nice! I want them to visit!'' Y/N said
I couldn't help but smile.

''But I think you should text your mom back'' I say
''Yeah, I will''
''Do you want breakfast?'' I ask getting up from the bed
''Yeah, it would be nice'' She says
I exited her room and walked to the kitchen so I can start preparing breakfast

You sigh and get ready to text your mom back
Mom: Hey sweety! How are you? How's school?
Y/N: I'm okay. If you didn't know (which you should) I already graduated. It would be nice if you would show some interest in my life but it's not like you care anyways
Mom: You know I care about you! I care about you a lot! We haven't talked for like two months, oh a big deal
Y/N: You're such a liar! Don't act like you care about me. And just so you know we haven't talked for nine months.
Y/N: Anyways, what do you want?
Mom: I was just thinking if I could visit
Y/N: What your boyfriend kicked you out?
Mom: No, but we're on a break
Y/N: I can't. I live with someone
Mom: Well, can't they just live somewhere else for some time?
Y/N: No, they can't. His parents live far away and his work is not as well paid so he can't rent a new apartment
Mom: So it's a he
Y/N: Yes, it's a he. He's been my roommate since the start of the school year. If you would show some interest in my life maybe you would know this
Mom: Well....maybe you could rent me a hotel?
Y/N: What happened with the 'well-paid job' you had?
Mom: I quit
Y/N: No surprise there
Mom: Okay, could I just visit for two days?
Y/N: No
Mom: Y/N, you can't do that! I'm your mother!
Y/N: Oh no, you're not my mother. You're my birth giver! You never cared. The person who raised me was grandma and my aunt. So quit the bullshit
Mom: I was there for you! For some time...And what did those fake, rich bitches do to you? You used to be so forgiving. A sweet little girl
Y/n: You were never there! Never! And those ''fake, rich bitches'' did what you were supposed to do and that is, raising you fucking child. I used to be naive and I used to think that maybe, if I tried, you would love me.
Mom: I do love you! I want my little girl back
Y/n: Bullshit and you know it. Your little girl is dead
You shut your phone off and started to sob. What hurt was that she didn't see her problem. She thinks she's the best mother in the world but in truth, she's the worst one. She, again, blamed you for her mistakes. She always blamed people for her problems and her choices.

Y/N was standing in the kitchen and stressing because her mom is going to visit her. Y/N wouldn't be so stressed if it would be just her who would have to see her, but Levi also lives here.
Y/N was stressed that her mother might do something stupid or embarrassing and make Levi leave her
''Hey, stop stressing'' Levi says hugging Y/N from the back
''I just...I know her and...I just know that she's going to do something and I'm scared that she's going to........scare you away'' Y/N says as she turns to look Levi in the eys
''Hey hush, hush! It's going to be okay. She won't scare me away. She might be shitty but it doesn't say anything about you. It only says good about you, that you're strong and mature'' Levi says pulling her into a hug
''She will...she will make me angry and then I will become an asshole and then we're going to start arguing and...'' Y/N says
''Don't you think me and Kenny don't argue? We argue all the time. He's a pain sometimes but we're family so we always make up'' Levi says
These words make Y/N feel a lot better. She's still stressed but she knows Levi and she knows her mother.
''Besides, I encouraged you two to talk and for her to visit. It's going to be fine, and it's only two days'' Levi said

I looked at my phone and saw a text message pop up.
Mom: I'm here. Which apartment?
Y/N: The 69th. Knock on the door and I will let you in
Soon, you hear a knock on the door and run to the door. You open the door and see your mom wearing this ugly pink pencil skirt with the ugliest shirt you've ever seen
''Hey, sweety! I missed you so much'' She says trying to hug you
''Hey'' You say but move away from her embrace
Then Levi comes out of the kitchen to say hi
''Oh, who's this young, handsome, man ?'' She asks with a smirk

''That's Levi. He's my roommate and a really good friend of mine''
''Nice to meet you, ma'am'' Levi says giving his hand out for your mom to shake
''Nice to meet you, Levi. You're really handsome! I would like to meet your father'' She says with a wink
''Oh haha'' Levi just awkwardly laughed
''Mom, please don't mention family stuff'' You just say
''Oh, why? I bet his mom and dad are very handsome people'' Your mom says
''Actually, Levi was raised by his mom and uncle. See if you would've just backed off this awkward situation wouldn't have happened''
''It's okay'' Levi says
''Should I carry your bag?'' Levi asks trying to be polite
''Oh no, thank you! I don't think Eren would be too happy if you would be carrying his girlfriend's mothers bag '' She says as she laughs
As she says the word ''Eren'' Levi becomes tense
''I and Eren broke up three years ago. That's also something you didn't care about''
''Oh, so is Levi your new boyfriend?'' She asks
''No''
''Oh..'' Your mom says looking Levi up and down

You, Levi, and your mom were now sitting down at the dinner table. You made your mom's favorite food so she wouldn't comment on the food.
''Oh, Y/N, you're so sweet! Did you really cook my favorite food?'' She asks
''Yeah''
''Wow, this is really good bra-Y/N'' Levi says
''Thank you, Levi'' You smile at him
''She got her cooking skills from me '' Your mom proudly says

''Well you were never-'' You were going to say something but Levi stopped you by placing his hand on your knee
''Y/N, did you take the broccoli out?'' Your mom asked
''Yeah. You should know that I don't really like broccoli especially mixed with something'' You say
''Oh, such a picky brat'' Your mom says
You were going to say something but you understood that there is no point arguing with someone like your mother
''So Levi, what does your uncle do?'' She asked
''Oh..umm..he works together with my mom. They own a business'' Levi says trying to keep a conversation going
''Oh, so he's rich?'' Your mom asked

''Do you have a picture with your uncle?'' Your mom asked scootching closer to Levi
You gave your mom a death glare but it seemed like she didn't care
''Umm, yeah, just a second'' He says unlocking his phone
He shows your mom a picture of him, Kenny, and his mom.
''Oh, now I know where you get your looks from'' She says with a smirk
''Yeah, Levi looks a lot like his beautiful mother right?'' You say trying to stop hinting that she finds Kenny attractive
''Well I was thinking more on the-'' Your mom tries to say
''Thank you, Y/N '' Levi cuts her off
The dinner was eaten in awkward silence but luckily soon bedtime came and you let your mom sleep on the couch. After your mom fell asleep you closed the doors to the living room and headed to your room. As you were about to go to sleep, Levi walked into your room and sat down onto your bed.
''Well, that wasn't that bad'' He says
''Liar! I'm so, so, so, so, sorry. I can't stand her!''
''It was not that bad. And it's just two days'' Levi says
''Yeah, she's got it all for tomorrow I just know it''
''Hey, it's okay. You should go to sleep. Rest well'' Levi says walking out of your bedroom
''Hey don't you want to stay with me?'' You asked
''I would but she could come in and explain that to her'' Levi said
''Yeah, you're probably right'' You said
''Goodnight, brat'' Levi said closing the door
