Korra was laying on her bed twisting and turning trying to find a comfortable position for her nap, but she couldn't help but worry about Asami.
"You're going to get her killed" a voice spoke
Korra sat up looking around the room but saw know one.
"You should've just done the mission" a man appeared "but you let yourself get to close"
Korra: "Dad?"
Tonraq: "hey sweetheart" he smirked
Korra: "what do you want from me"
Tonraq: "I don't want nothing"
Korra: "If thats the case why don't you leave me alone and go fuck yourself"
Tonraq grew mad, he grabbed Korra throwing her off the bed then picked her up pinning her against the wall aggressively. His face was pissed but then he started to let out a soft chuckle
Tonraq: "you remind me so much of myself" he chuckled more "the way you lash out on them with you get annoyed"
Korra didn't know what to say, she was feeling so many emotions
Tonraq: "think about it Korra, you're just like me"
Korra: "I'm nothing like you"
Tonraq: "ah but you are" he threw her to the ground "you even said it yourself"
Korra: "I'm not you" she looked up at him
Tonraq: "I know you can see it" he bent down to meet her eyes "when you saw your reflection on that mirror, you didn't see yourself, you saw me. Any move you did, I did" he brought her to her feet "you just won't accept it"
Korra: "I'm not you and I'll never be you"
Tonraq: "says the one that lashes out on her own brothers, you even did it to your mother, who's next? Asami?"
Korra: "no, I would never hurt her"
Tonraq: "but you already did, you lied to her, hid stuff from her"
Korra: "you forced me to"
Tonraq: "no Korra, I told you to find out where the other organization is" he shook his head "I never told you to lie to her or even get close to her... this was your plan"
Korra realized what he meant. It was all her ideas.
Tonraq: "you got too close to Asami, you led her to her death"
Korra: "what?"
Tonraq: "where is she right now?"
Korra: "with mom"
Tonraq: "and you don't think your mother wants revenge"
Korra: "what are you saying?"
Tonraq: "you killed her lover, now she'll kill yours" he faded away
Korra's eyes widened, she knew it was too good be true, the way her mother forgave her fast, and not only that but she didn't hesitate to agree about Asami going with her. Korra ran out the room to check on the boys who were wide awake, who she thought were sleeping.
Mako: "hey kor" he smiled
Bolin: "you alright?"
Korra: "where's mom"
Mako: "no clue"
Bolin: "I think she went out"
Korra walked away from the guys, taking out her phone and calling Asami. It went straight to voicemail. she tried texting her but none of the messages would send. She tried calling again but went straight to voicemail.
Korra: "fuck!" she threw her phone against the wall
Korra ran downstairs opening the front door almost bumping into Senna who was carrying bags. Korra didn't see Asami anywhere.
Senna: "woah Korra, I could've dropped everything" she walked in
Korra: "where is she?" she panted
Senna: "who?" She closed the door behind her
Korra: "Asami? where's Asami?"
Senna: "I thought she was with yo-"
Korra: "don't play that shit with me!" Korra was getting mad
Senna: "Korra, calm down"
Korra: "don't tell me to calm down"
Korra grabbed Senna by the shirt pushing her to the wall making her yelp and causing her bags to hit the floor. Tonraq reappeared catching Korra's attention. Korra watched as the man walked up to them.
Tonraq: "I thought you said you'd never hurt her" he smirked
Korra: "What?" she looked back at the at the woman but it wasn't her mother anymore, it was someone else.
Korra stared into the girl's green eyes that was filled with fear, the same fear Korra had for her father. she wanted to let go, but she couldn't, something was stopping her
Asami: "Korra...?" she was shaking
Tonraq: "look at her, she's scared of you" he laughed "she witnessed you do a lot of things Korra, bad things, she saw you attack Kai's mom, she saw you kill all my men, she saw you kill me, she saw you kill a lady in the plane, she saw you lash out on both you're brother and mother, tell me you wouldn't be afraid of someone like that?"
Korra: "shut up!" her eyes watered
Tonraq: "you're a terrible person Korra" he pointed at the girl "you have 0 reasons to hurt her but you are" he smirked "like how I had 0 reasons to hurt you"
Korra: "I'm not you!"
Tonraq: "You're right, you're not me" he patted her head like a dog "Because I'm a monster and you're a devil"
He vanished leaving the sobbing girl
Korra: "no no no" she shut her eyes so she couldn't look Asami in the eyes
Asami: "don't feel bad, you shouldn't"
Korra: "what?" She was lost as she looked back up at the girl
Asami: "you do have a reason to hurt me" she smirked
Korra: "stop"
Asami: "I'm only using you to get my mother back, that's why I keep you close"
Korra: "shut up! That's not true"
Asami: "oh but it is, once I have my mother I'll drop you like it's nothing"
Korra: "stop! Just stop!" she tighten her grip
"Korra?....Korra?" A voice echoed in her head
Asami: "did you really think I could ever care about someone like you? Have a future with you?" She laughed. "How could I be with the person I fear most in this world"

Asami and Senna came back from the stores, they put everything away.
Senna: "I'll prepare dinner, can you go check if the others are awake yet"
Asami: "Yeah" she smiled and left the room
Asami went upstairs and knocked on the door that belonged to the brothers
Bolin: "come in" he called
Asami opened the door finding the boys on a bunk bed, Bolin was sitting on the bottom playing his video game, and Mako sitting on the top listening to music and writing.
Asami: "hey, get yourselves cleaned up, Senna's getting dinner started"
Mako: "Sounds good" he gave her a smile
Asami walked away and headed across the hall to Korra's room, she knocked but got no answer. She slowly opened the door seeing Korra still in her bed laying flat on her stomach and her arms under her pillow hugging it under her head. She walked closer besides the bed 'is she crying?' she saw the girl furrow her eyebrows and hugged the pillow tighter 'she's having a nightmare' she noticed the girl's heavy breathing and sweating badly
Asami: "Korra?" she placed a hand on the girl's shoulder shaking her lightly "Korra?"
Korra turned to her back and shot up panting finding a worried Asami sitting on the edge of the bed. Korra didn't think for a second, she pulled Asami in for a hug and held her tightly without saying a word. Asami didn't know what was going on but she knew the girl needed comforting, she held Korra as she stroked the girl's short hair.
Asami: "what's going on?" she asked in a soft voice
Korra: "I don't want to talk about it" she still had tears in her eyes "Just let me hold you"
Asami didn't want to push it, so she let the girl do what she wanted. Moments later Korra was able to control her breathing.
Korra: "A-are you scared of me?" she hesitated as she mumbled in Asami's neck,
Asami: "what?!" That caught her off guard "Korra, I could never fear you." She pulled away and looked into the girl's eyes
Korra: "but I saw it, I saw the fear in your eyes Asami" tears came down
Asami: "tell me what happened?" She wiped the girl's tears
Korra told her everything as she cried. No one ever seen Korra like this, not even the boys.
Korra: "it just felt so real an-and I hurt you, I wanted to stop I really did but I couldn't no matter how hard I tried I-I couldn't" she struggled to talk
Asami: "it wasn't real" she sighed "I care about you so much Korra, I don't care what you did in the past, I can see you are trying your best to fix your mistakes and become a better person" she held the girl close "I admire you, you're so determined, you care for your brothers, you're kind hearted and selfless, not only that but you can actually keep a promise" they both let out a soft chuckle
Asami knew all the right words to say to Korra. Korra was greatful to have Asami in her life, even though she felt like she doesn't deserve someone like Asami. They held each other a bit longer until Korra was ready to go grab some dinner.
After dinner they all watched a movie together, Asami was the first to fall asleep since she didn't get a chance to sleep all day, not even on the plane ride. Both her and Korra were sharing a couch, Korra laid on her back near the edge of the couch while Asami laid on her side resting her head on Korra's chest hugging her.
Korra looked at the boys who were wide awake, they looked back at her and earned a nod from their sister. They both got up and headed upstairs, Korra slowly escaped Asami's grip and gave her mother a nod, making Senna turn off the TV. Korra lifted Asami up carrying her bridal style up the stairs and to her room, she gently placed the sleeping girl on the bed and covered her with a blanket.
Korra checked the time reading 12:09AM, she grabbed her backpack placing it on top of Kai's bed and took out her black uniform, she got herself dressed up, tucked her pistol behind her pants and put her switchblade in her pocket. She checked her bag again to see if she forgot anything, all that was left was her mother's ointment and another gun. Korra grabbed the second pistol, the pistol that was supposed to be Asami's, she let out a sigh and looked back at the sleeping beauty. She walked up to the girl placing a soft kiss on her forehead causing the raven haired girl to show a small smile making Korra's heart warm.
Korra: "forgive me for this" she whispered to the sleeping girl and left the room taking both pistols
Mako: "ready?" he whispered earning a nod from the girl as she gently closed the door to her room
The three of them were making their way out the door when Senna stopped them
Senna: "take these" she offered three little ear pieces "with these you guys would be able to communicated with eachother" she explained "I'll be able to listen to everything and talk to you guys as well, I'm going to try and hack into the cameras and help out from here" she earned a nod from the 3
Korra: "thank you" she smiled and left with the 2 boys following behind her. They hopped in the car and drove off

Asami stretched her arm out looking for Korra's warmth but felt nothing, she slowly blinked her eyes open finding herself in Korra's bed. She grabbed her phone to check the time.
Asami: "12:36..." she yawned as she streched out and sat up
She looked around the room seeing if Korra was around, her eyes landed on the bag that laid on the second bed 'that's Korra's bag' she walked up to it only finding a small jar of cream
Asami: "shit"
Asami ran out the room and knocked on Mako and Bolin's door not getting a answer. she gave up and went downstairs finding Senna, who was about to enter a room.
Senna: "oh Asami, you're awake" she smiled
Asami: "where's Korra?"
Senna: "she's with the boys"
Asami: "they went without me"
Senna: "I'm sorry but this is what Korra wanted, and she's right too, it's too dangerous for you"
Asami: "I can't leave her side, where's this place at?"
Senna: "I can't tell you"
Asami: "fine I'll figure it out myself" she was about to walk away but Senna grabbed her shoving her into the room "hey what are you doing?"
Senna: "sit your ass on that seat and lets try and help from here" she pointed at one of the chairs that was infront of 9 large monitors and a small computer to the side. "Korra made me promise to protect you with my life"
