I left caiden house a couple of hours ago I felt my face heat up just thinking about the things that we did, my mother told me we have a dinner we have to go to regrading the mafia families im so excited please hint the sarcasm
I was getting ready will more like hiding the hickeys and bite marks caiden left since I can't cover them all I had to change my outfit I was wearing a white turtle neck with a black v neck sweater over it and a plaid skirt and I paired it off with brown socks and dr martins
once I was done getting ready I moved on to my hair I pulled my dark brown hair out of the bun I had it in letting it fall down to my lower back
I decided I wanted to curl it softly at the ends and I did natural makeup I did finishing touches I heard a knock at my door
"come in," I yelled from my room I heard them enter my room
"looking good sis giving me much dark acidaemia," I heard rhys say and I turn around and smiled at him he was wearing something similar to me
"mhm I can say the same little bro," I said and he did a turn "are you ready it time to go," he said and I grabbed my phone and purse and nodded my head
we headed downstairs and our family was already in the SUV so we joined them I was a little happy about this dinner im gonna see uncle nick and aunt ava and uncle alexander and aunt Katherine basically the whole family is about to be there along with the Kotov family and ace I hate them both
we rented out the restaurant since I have a feeling this is gonna get out of hand we walked in and I already saw everyone else was there we were the last ones to arrive before we say down my mother and father pulled august and Me to the side
"Please be on your best behavior," my mother said and I sighed, "I think about it," I mumbled and I felt my father glared at me
"Cordelia best behavior," he said in a stern voice "okay I won't start anything if they dont," I said lying straight through my teeth I glanced at august and saw he had the smirk on his face this is gonna be a crazy night yes
we walked to the table and said our hellos to everyone thank god we do this like once a year we took a seat and I felt ace and Corey Kotov eyes on me I rolled my eyes ignoring them
please I rather have caiden between my legs than be at this dreadful dinner they talked about god know what I tuned them out as soon as we sat down I felt my phone buzz so I picked it up and noticed august texted me to meet him outside
I looked around and he wasn't at the table I didn't even notice he left "I have to go to the restroom excuse me," I said while standing up
"okay dear be back soon," my mother said and I nodded and went outside I saw august against the wall with a joint in his mouth
"let me hit," I said walking up to him and he passed me the joint inhaled a larger puff letting the weed cloud my mind "I was really hoping something will happen tonight," he said and I nodded passing the joint back to him
"I feel you they just keep talking about business," I said and he passed the joint back to me "ion know maybe we can start something," he said I saw that look in his eyes
"mhm we should," I said just before inhaling another puff
"you assholes dont tell me you were gonna sit here and take some puffs without me," I heard our cousin hayes say and I smiled and held the joint out to him
"that dinner is so boring," he drawled out before taking a puff "right like draw some gins or something," I sighed I already felt myself getting light that some strong ass weed
we took some more puffs until it was done with "are my eyes red," I asked august and he laughed and pulled out some eye drops "yes now open up," he said holding my head back
he did the same to hayes and himself and pulled out some spray to hide the smell thank god that weed is really strong "did we just smoke our own product," I asked and august smirked "yup I had to give it a test try before we sell it," he said and shook my head
we walked back into the building and went back to the table "about time your back it time to order what took you three so long," my father asked and I bit my lip so I dont laugh
"cora was crying she was having boy problems," august said and I looked at him "I was oh yea I was mhm that dam fuck boy gotta hate em," I said while whipping the imaginary tears
"do we have to kill someone," uncle alexander asked and all my uncles had their murder face on "oh no it all good now were back together," I said and they still had a look on their face
why can I just shut the fuck up I hate myself when im high
"not that we're back together we just having issues yea mhm," I said more to myself trying to make it makes sense
"you know what let eat im starving," I said picking up the menu and looking at what I want to order
we order the food and they talked more while we waited for the food to come I still felt ace and Corey eyes on me the whole time it was very boring
"so Cordelia how school going," grandma Elisa asked me from she, my mother mom
"um it going good I have great friends," I said and she nodded
"any boys," grandma Hayley asked she my father mother and felt the blush creep my face "um yes there are boys at the school," I said playing it cool and she waved her hand
"cora just went on a date with caiden black," my mother said very proudly yea wait till she finds out he, my boyfriend
"oh really I heard he a very charming British and handsome young man," grandma Elisa said
"caiden black is nothing compare to me," ace said and I glared at him
"last time I check caiden was a better man than you ever be but also I think didn't I asked to hear your annoying voice tonight," I hissed out and he smirked at me
"mhm dont get so hostile cora it isn't my fault im just better I have everything he dont," ace said and I rolled my eyes
"he has me and you dont he has the world at his feet and you dont he has really good hair and you dont I can say more things that he has that you will never but I dont I should hurt your feelings today," I said and his smirks felled
"I can name things you dont have Cordelia but we dont want to embarrass you infornt of your family right," Lizzie Kotov said and I smirked
"didn't I do that for you already when I whooped ass infornt of the whole school tell me how much was the nose job I can't say they did really good it still cricketed," I said and she gasped and held her nose
"mhm you know cora you look a little skinny how that eating disorder going for you," Lizzie asked and I rolled my eyes wow she brought that up it actually going well
"How did that abortion go," I said and I heard my family gasped and a few choked on their drink " I mean im no pro-life you gonna send that baby to heaven go head have fun it, your choice your body, and im not judging but I mean it was your third one," I said picking up my drink
"oh no she didn't," I heard one of my aunts say
"dont you think you should shut your child up," jasper Kotov Lizzie father said to my father
"no I dont princess keep going," my father said and I smiled
"I swear your such a little slut I see why blade left you for me," Lizzie said speaking of the very much ex-boyfriend thank god I didn't lose my virginity to him that would if been sad
"im a slut really wasn't it you that slept with your father business partner and the fucking teacher just to get a good grade mhm like mother like daughter huh," I said and everyone was in complete shook dont blame them
"watch your mouth talking to my fucking sister," Corey said
"speak to my sister like that again I will kill you," august said and Corey smirked "your sister is a cold-blooded murder," Corey said and I bust out laughing
"were all murders dumbass were in the fucking mafia but I mean if you're talking about what I did to your little friend in California then well that a different story right," I said and he faced shift to complete anger
"you little bitch," he spat and in a swift movement he picked up the nice and threw it thank god for my fast reflex I caught it just in time before it hit me in my fucking eye
my family all stood up and pulled their guns out and pointed them at Corey along with the Kotov family who pointed their guns at my family
"mhm well this escalated quickly," I said looking at my hand it had a cut on it from catching the knife I stood up and played any minne miney moe in my head
"why dont we put the guns down or I mean I have no problem sending your kids to heaven with your grandchildren," I said with a small smirk they looked at me and noticed I was right near Lizzie and Corey
"mhm aurora you have a very interesting daughter she just like you just crazier," Mr. Kotov said and I smiled aw im touch
he lowered his gun and his men followed "let wrap this dinner up Lizzie Corey let go now," Mr. Kotov said in a stern voice making them flinch the Kotov family left along with the ace family
"well that was very fun," I said while looking at my family and taken a seat
"Cordelia I said the best behavior," my mother said and I laughed "and I said I won't start anything if they dont," I replied and she shook her head with a small smile on her face
"oh god I love this family," my uncle Elliot said and I laughed
the food came and ate and joked around and my uncle Levi was telling us about him traveling the world and aunt senna was telling us about new house she bought with her girlfriend
and I told aunt ava about Odessa and how she should give her the internships and she happily said yes I cant wait to tell Odessa about it
my grandparents were telling us about how we should take a trip to Italy or Spain this is gonna be the last time we see them there staying in Spain for a while to get a vacation or whatever
we all went our separate ways since it was getting late after all the hugs and kisses and more talking we finally went home
as soon as we got home I showered and went straight to bed but not after sending caiden a goodnight text letting him know I was going to bed
god tonight wasn't as dreadful as I thought it was
