"Accept an apology? I understand you are stressed but I shall not accept an apology for your rudeness." You watch him closely and see that he tenses up in his chair even further, offering you a scowl. "You see, I understand what it is to be a big brother, I see my own brother do a bad enough job of it and so I am well aware of the stresses you face, but he does not ever appear so rude and especially not to a woman of the ton."
"I am sorry you feel such a way." Anthony shakes his head, annoyed but nods and rises, glancing at his pocket watch. "Well, I do believe it to be time that I return you home, miss (y/n). I am sure I shall see you at the ball this evening either way." His hand grasps and grips your own with a quick kiss before he makes his leave with haste and obvious annoyance.
