A/N: I downloaded twitch on my phone today and I'm writing this while watching Bad do karaoke on stream to Dream's song lmao

Dream was glad when this morning Sapnap woke him up by throwing a pillow cushion at him instead of icing the back of his neck. It still wasn't ideal, but Dream decided it was best to pick his battles. And one more bonus, he'd gotten more than 8 hours of sleep for the first time in weeks. The day was off to a good start.

George attempted to teach them (more just Sapnap) how to make an omelet for breakfast. Bacon bits ended up all over the counter, as somehow Sapnap could not pour things from one place to another. Dream was just glad that even though it may have looked like a mess and been a mess, it still tasted good. The taste was really all that mattered.

"Maybe we'll be professional chefs by the time George leaves," Sapnap said.

Dream almost choked on his omelet from starting to laugh. "Sapnap, you still need to learn how to poor things from one place to another."

Sapnap scoffed. "I can, I just chose to keep things interesting," he lied.

"Yeah, sure," George said sarcastically.

Sapnap wasn't having it. "Maybe it's payback for not inviting me to your secret drawing session in the driveway the other day," he said.

George looked up at Dream, who slowly pulled the fork out of his mouth.

"That's right," Sapnap said. "I said it."

George was turning red. "Well if you weren't such a sleepy baby then you could've joined us," Dream decided to take this one for George.

"You're mad at me for sleeping at a reasonable hour?" Sapnap asked.

"No, you're mad that you were sleeping at a reasonable hour because you missed it," Dream pointed out, stabbing at his omelet again.

George was done being embarrassed. "We were practicing our art skills," he added.

Sapnap shook his head. "You just didn't want to invite me cause you knew I was better than you," he said.

George laughed.

"Yeah right," Dream scoffed.

"I can beat you guys at anything, any day," Sapnap challenged. "Card games? Got it. PVP? In the bag. Chess? Get outta here. Board games? Suck it."

George raised an eyebrow. "Chess?" he repeated. "I don't know, Sapnap, I'm pretty good at chess."

Sapnap scoffed. "Sure you are, Gogy," he said. "Whatever makes you feel better."

"Let's do it," George said.

"Alright, let's go," Sapnap said. "I will take you down."

Dream cut in. "Can we finish eating before you take over the table?" he asked. "I don't want chess pieces ending up in my eggs when you get mad that you're losing and throw the board at us."

George started laughing again. "I will not!" Sapnap exclaimed, stabbing at his omelet. "Y'all are just sore losers."

"Coming from you!" Dream laughed.

Sapnap ate the rest of his omelet angrily. They finished their omelets and Sapnap was not taking his time to go get the chess board. He reappeared at the table only moments after he'd left. Dream had played Sapnap at chess many times, and Sapnap honestly usually won. Though yesterday George had kind of mauled them in card games, so maybe he was good at chess, too.

Sapnap started setting up the board. Dream was sitting at the end of the table.

"What color do you want to be?" George asked.

"Dark, baby," Sapnap replied instantly. "I'm always dark."

George rolled his eyes, but starting setting up the light wood pieces on his side of the board. "At least I get to go first, I suppose," he said.

"You'll probably need it," Sapnap retorted.

"You're so sure of yourself," George said. "That's going to be embarrassing when you lose."

Dream laughed. "What are you guys putting on the line?" he asked. "I feel like there needs to be some sort of prize if you're both so sure you're going to win."

"A hundred bucks," Sapnap said.

George laughed. "What? No! We're not betting one hundred dollars!" he exclaimed. "How about... whoever loses has to buy dinner for all of us tonight, but we get to choose it."

"Ooo, I like that one," Dream said.

Sapnap rolled his eyes, finally sitting down across from George instead of standing there intensely. "Of course you do," he said. "Fine, loser buys dinner of the other person's choice."

"Okay," George said. "Let's get started."

Dream shook his head at him, pulling out his phone to check Twitter. He hadn't checked it since the stream with George. The fans had gone nuts, there were so many tweets about it and so many different fan arts of what they thought George and Dream looked like sitting in the room together laughing at everyone in the chat as they had tried to piece together what was going on.

A lot of the fan arts were good, too. So many people in their fandom were so talented, looking at all the drawings made Dream's day. Some of them made him laugh, but that was a given.

"Don't you dare, George," Sapnap said rather loudly, making Dream look up.

George was smiling maliciously at the chess board. "I don't know, Sapnap, you walked into that one," he said.

"No!" Sapnap exclaimed. "I didn't see it there!"

George laughed, moving his bishop and wiping out one of Sapnap's knights. Sapnap face-palmed with a heavy groan.

"You're turn," George laughed.

Sapnap leaned back in his chair, looking defeated. He stared at the board for a moment and then sadly moved one of his pawns.

"Who's winning?" Dream asked.

"Me," they both said.

Dream wheezed. "Okay, who has taken more of the other player's pieces?" he rephrased his question.

"Me," George said again, and Sapnap rolled his eyes.

"By one," Sapnap snapped. "Don't worry, Dream, I'll make a comeback."

They returned to their game. Dream watched this time. Sapnap looked like he was just straight up determined, whereas George looked like he was actually thinking about it. He was willing to put money on George's win.

"NO!" Sapnap shouted, slamming his hands on the table and nearly knocking over more pieces as George took one of his bishops. "WHAT THE HECK?"

George laughed as he removed it from the board. "I think playing with Dream has boosted your ego too much."

"Are you saying I'm bad at chess?" Dream asked, and George only laughed harder.

"You all freaking suck man," Sapnap stared at the chess board. "I don't understand how I didn't see that."

Dream laughed. "Which one of you two is actually blind here?" he asked, referring to George's colorblindness.

George started laughing so hard Dream thought he was going to pass out, which only made Dream start laughing even harder. Sapnap shook his head in defeat as George was laughing so hard it was silent and Dream was wheezing at the end of the table.

He moved another piece and then rubbed his temples. "Gosh, this is so bad," he said. "Stop laughing, it's not funny."

Dream couldn't form words he was so far gone.

George recovered first and went back to the game, which only lasted long enough for them both to make two more moves before George said "checkmate."

"WHAT?!" Sapnap screamed,  slamming his hands down on the stable for the second time and leaning forward to look at the board better.

George started laughing again.

Sapnap pushed himself to his feet, sending the chair backwards and crashing onto the ground and he stalked away from the table, then stopped and turned back to them. "What the heck?" he exclaimed. "How do I keep missing all of these - I demand a rematch! I demand a rematch!"

"Sapnap, just except the fact that you lost," Dream said.

"No!" Sapnap pulled the chair back up, pushing it up to the table and sitting down. "Rematch. Right now."

"Fine, but no matter who wins this round you're still buying dinner," George said.

"Fine, I'll buy you two a meal for your drawing date night in the driveway," Sapnap said, already rearranging the pieces on the table.

George's eye met Dream's. Dream shrugged and smiled as George flushed.
