kuroo stood in front of the freshman dormitory, looking like a complete idiot. he quickly went to the sophomore dorms so no one thought he was being a creep.
opening the door, a pillow hit his face. he rolls his eyes, giving terushima and rin a dirty look.
kuroo threw the pillow back at terushima, eyeing him. "so, how's our romeo doing?"
terushima glances over at rin, giving him an apologetic look. "i'm just happy she didn't run away after i confessed,"
kuroo giggles, unbuttoning his dress shirt and took it off. he went over to the closet, taking his jeans off too so he can put on some sweatpants. "well, my night ended pretty well too,"
rin raised an eyebrow, piquing his interest. "oh? what happened to you, lover boy?"
"kenma kissed me,"
both blondes looked at each other and then at kuroo, eyes wide and jaws dropped. they both tackled kuroo on the bunk bed, storming their roommate with questions.
"HE KISSED YOU??" rin screamed, earning a smack on his head from terushima.
"shut up, blondie! unless you want the whole fucking dormitory to wake up,"
"literally bite me, terushima,"
kuroo rolls his eyes, resting his hands on rin's thighs since he was sitting on top of him. "stop flirting,"
rin let a small pout, "oh great," he rolls his eyes. "my two best friends got something today while i saw my crush give another guy a kiss after the banquet,"
"kiyoko and atsumu kissed?" terushima asks. "when?"
"after the banquet, i saw kiyoko giving atsumu a kiss," rin was about to demonstrate on terushima but the tongue piercing jokingly pushed him away.
"oi! stop flirting you two," kuroo told them, "this is serious,"
"what is? kenma kissing you or kiyoko kissing atsumu?" terushima says.
"both!" rin and kuroo yelled in unison.
terushima made an angry kissing face at his two best friends for yelling at him. rin held terushima's hand, looking at the rings he had on, and noticed one was missing.
"huh? terushima, what happened to the space ring? that was literally your favorite one,"
terushima looks down at his left hand. every finger was covered with rings but the ring finger.
ever since he got into jewelry, terushima had this one ring he loves. it was a plain, silver ring that had stars and crescent moons engraved all around it.
"i gave it to nana,"
rin let out an unintentional snort, "you fucking down bad,"
"only for her,"
"you down bad for my baby sister,"
"and?" terushima rolls his eyes, "rin, if you wanna fuck me, just say it,"
kuroo laughs at their bickering. he sat up so he can lean against the wall but rin was still sitting on his lap, straddling him. "you guys argue like a divorced couple,"
"yuuji, what happened to us being single until we're 30 so we can adopt!" rin cries.
"for crying— we can still adopt!"
"bruh what about kai?"
"literally nana does not give a fuck,"
kuroo decided since the position he and rin were in was a little... sexual, he got out his phone and took a picture of it. his hand resting on rin's thighs, displaying his wrist tattoos and the rings on his finger.
he posted it on his instagram story, captioning it "lmao girls be wishing they were me😫" and tagged rin in it.
"so, what are you going to do about kiyoko?" terushima asks, giving rin a worried look.
rin shrugs, "i mean, not like i can do anything if she likes atsumu, right? just gotta deal with it and she doesn't need to know i like her,"
"man," terushima sighs, leaning onto rin. "all three of us ended our night with something interesting,"
then, rin just realized something. he aggressively grabbed terushima's shirt and shook him back and forth, whining.
"rin, baby, do you need something?"
"DID YOU INDIRECTLY PROPOSE TO MY BABY SISTER?"
"BITCH— HUH?"
"you gave kai the ring that was always on your fucking ring finger," rin says, "that's literally an indirect proposal,"
"oh damn, y'all moving fast," kuroo jokes.
"kuroo got a kiss from a cute cheerleader, terushima finally got with his high school crush and me? I SAW MY CRUSH KISSING MY TEAMMATE!" rin dramatically sobs, laying on top of kuroo now.
kuroo giggles, rubbing rin's back. "there there, baby. you'll find the love of your life soon enough,"
"ugh maybe i shoulda stayed in california,"
"nope," terushima says, wrapping his arms around his best friend. "kuroo and i love you more than any other girl ever will,"
all three boys burst out into giggles. they should've been sleeping by now since it was almost 3 a.m but none were really tired and they didn't have any classes or practice the next day.
"okay, so what did you and nana do upstairs?"
"we kissed, that's literally it," terushima then flicks rin's nose. "we didn't fuck, alright pretty boy,"
rin stuck out his tongue at terushima, giving him a dirty look. kuroo smiles at the two, happy that they got along and became such good friends in a short amount of time.
"so, does this mean kenma likes me?"
"yeah, probably," said rin.
terushima nods his head. "yeah or else he wouldn't have kissed you,"
"also, the two of you were taking a while after the banquet ended. the fuck were you guys doing?" rin asked, shifting on kuroo's lap so it's more comfortable.
"we were just on the rooftop of the 5th building," he shrugs. "nothing much, just talking about what we're gonna do during summer and stuff,"
"if you guys don't make it official by the end of this month, i'm gonna cry," terushima says, sighing.
"oh come on, yuuji. you and nana got together tonight, we should be celebrating,"
"yeah, you finally got a girlfriend,"
there was a hint of teasing in rin's tone of voice. terushima rolled his eyes, tackling his roommate off of kuroo's lap and on the other end of the bed. since the buck beds at the university were twin sizes, it was difficult for all three of them to fit.
while they were wrestling each other on the bed, kuroo took out his phone and started to film them. sending the video to nana, captioning it "ur bf is cheating on u lol"
"did you send a video to nana?"
"yup,"
"she's probably asleep by now," rin says, tugging terushima's hair so he can get off of him. "i'm sure she's tired," he then looked at terushima, giving him a serious stare. "you better not break her heart, yuuji or else i'll be coming after you,"
terushima gave rin a soft smile. "she's in my care, i'll never hurt her,"
kuroo threw a pillow at the two, gaining their attention.
"hm? need something, tetsurou?" rin asks.
kuroo smiles, shaking his head. "nope, just happy things are going well,"
this made terushima and rin smile. they both lightly jumped on top of kuroo, giggling like little kids.
soon after, the three fell asleep. all cuddling and sprawled on kuroo's bed, with nothing but moonlight lighting up their dorm room.

i've always wanted just to write a chapter of these three boys messing around in their dorm room, talking about their crushes and joking with each other
and i'm happy i finally got to do it !
