"sis, a-are they g-going to b-be okay?" I asked my sister.
"hehehe" amber laughed.
I looked at her in confusion.
"eeepp!!!"
Whatever laughed at me, wasn't amber.
I saw a different pokemon.
One I've never seen before.
"hehehe"
It laughed again.
I became scared of the creepy pokemon
"w-who a-are you?!" I asked in a stuttering voice.
....
"hehehe"
It just continued to laugh creepily at me.
I lowered myself in terror.
"hehehe"
When I looked up at it, I noticed it had red eyes.
"hehehe"
My eyes then grew wide.
It stood in a puddle of blood.
"hehehe"
"EEEPP!!!"
...
I saw who's blood it was now.
...
My sister...
....
She laid in the corner of the cave.
....
She was......dead.
"hehehe"
I then looked around more.

Anshul...
Clyde....
....
Their all...

Dead...
"hehehe"
I then looked back at the creepy mon.
It grew a creepy smile.
It had blood covered teeth.
They were extremely sharp.
"hehehe"
It then began to pad toward me.
The creepy smile was still on its face.
Its red eyes came closer and closer.
I covered my eyes with my paws.
Everyone I care about was dead.
This is my greatest fear.
"you're all alone now!!!" it said in a deep voice.
"what will you do now, mira?!"
"you have to move on, hehehe"
It stood in front of me.
I removed my paws from my eyes.
It looked down at me.
Its body was fully black.
I could only see its blood covered teeth, claws and blood red eyes.
"you're running out of time, mira!"
It was talking in an extremely creepy way.
I was too afraid to move.
I then felt two claws grab my paws.
It forced me to look at it.
It made me stare into its blood red eyes.
"you're mine now!!!"
"hehehehahahaha!"
While it was laughing, it placed its claw on the back of my head.
It forced my head toward its blood covered teeth.
It then forcefully bit me in my neck.
"eeepp!" I screamed from pain.
I fell to the ground.
My paws were pinned down.
Fresh blood dripped from the terrifying pokemon's teeth.
It forced me to look at it again.
It's terrifying smile broke me.
I tried to struggle, but it then forcefully kissed me.
It made me taste my own blood.
The metallic taste made me sick.
It then finally broke the kiss.
"hmm, too bad!"
"you taste delicious my dear"
"but, I must"
"a deal is a deal!"
It then forcefully bit my neck again.
It was drinking my blood.
I began to choke.
It then forcefully ripped my throat out.
The pokemon kept its claws on my paw, pinning me down.
It stared deep into my eyes.
Its smile appeared again.
My vision faded to black.

"EEEEEEPPP!!!!!!"
I screamed from terror when I woke up.
My entire body jumped up from shock.
When my paws hit the floor, I jumped again.
I jumped into a corner, my paws covering my eyes.
I was shaking from absolute distress.
My mind was clouded from fear.
Was it all a dream?
No! it felt to real.
I was too afraid to turn around.
I didn't hear anything.
...
After some time, I started to hear again.
I heard the terrified voice of amber.
Clyde was also talking, he was mostly shocked from the situation.
Nothing changed what I was doing.
My ears were flat against my head.
My tail was between my hind legs.
My front paws were over my eyes.
And my entire body was shaking from fear.
"mira!! What happened!!" amber screamed.
"woaa!! Calm down!!" clyde said.
I heard paw steps approaching me.
"EEEEEPPP!!!"
When a paw was placed on my back, I screamed in fear and jumped up again.
I landed in the exact same position I was before I jumped.
"mira, please!! Calm down!!!" amber tried to conform me.
A paw was placed on my back again.
I flinched extremely hard when it did.
"amber! don't touch! She is paranoid!!" clyde said to amber.
"she is completely terrified yes!! I see that!!" amber yelled at clyde.
"hey! I'm not jirachi!! I'm only trying to help!!" clyde yelled back.
I was shaking more and more from the screaming.
"calm down! we are freaking her out more!" clyde said.
Amber padded closer to me again.
"mira, what happened?" amber asked in a very concerned tone.
I didn't answer.
"did something happen?" amber asked.
...
"did you have a nightmare?" amber asked.
I nodded, even if it was impossible to tell from the position I was in.
Somehow, amber knew my answer.
"ow you poor thing!" amber said.
Her paws wrapped around my back.
I flinched again when she did.
I did not stop shaking.
My paws were trembling.
"it's alright mira, I'm here for you." Amber tried to calm me down.
It didn't work.
My mind kept snapping back at those terrifying red eyes.
I was whining from terror.
"mira! It isn't real! Were still here! All of us!!" amber told me.
Her soft paws were wrapped around me.
I didn't remove my paws from my eyes.
"She's not calming down, something's wrong"
"clyde! Go check around for anything strange!" amber commanded.
"on it!" clyde said.
*thud* "rraarrg" clyde grunted.
I felt amber turn around to see what happened.
"my paw, its hurt!" clyde said out loud.
"from what!?" amber asked in a frustrating tone.
"rrggr, I must have gotten it yesterday!" clyde said.
Amber turned back towards me.
She rested her head on my back.
"I'll just ignore it." clyde said in a defeated tone.
Clyde was inspecting the cave.
When he checked everything inside, he cautiously padded outside.
"woa!" clyde called out.
"what is it!?" amber asked.
"it's extremely dark out here!" clyde said back.
...
"no nope! I'm not about that!" clyde stated.
He padded back inside the cave.
"why not!?" amber said, again frustrated.
"I'm not going out there like this!"
"for all I know, darkrai could be out there!"
"I've no light, no night vision. Nope! I'm....no" clyde said in shock.
I didn't calm down from anything amber did.
My heart was beating very fast.
"please mira! It wasn't real"
She picked me up with her vines.
My paws were still over my eyes.
I felt amber gently paw at my paws.
She lowered my paws from my eyes.
"see? It's fine! I'm here for you!" amber said.
My vision focused more on the cave entrance.
Just when I was about to look away.
I swore that there was somemon there.
I tried to look at anything that was there.
...
I then saw red eyes again.
"EEEEEEPPP!!!"
I shot a icy wind toward the cave entrance.
The ice shards flew at high speed toward the area I saw the eyes.
My head cowered into my sisters shoulder.
My paws wrapped around her.
"what!?" clyde yelled when he saw me shoot a icy wind outside.
He also shot some attacks outside.
Starting with hydro pump.
"whoever is out there! Leave or suffer the consequences!!" clyde yelled in an intimidating way.
He shot a shadow ball outside.
The attack exploded outside.
Amber was hugging me closely.
Clyde then used surf on the entire area in front of the cave.
"you are so lucky that it is too dark outside right now!!!! Otherwise, we would brawling!!!! You can bet on that!!!" clyde yelled out in frustration.
Clyde was shooting more and more attacks out.
Hydro pump.
Shadow ball.
Surf.
Signal beam.
Ice beam.
Icy wind.
Scald.
He kept this up until he started to pant.
"*huff* *huff* *huff* I think *huff* *huff* *huff* I missed!" clyde said in between pants.
"did you see anything?" amber asked.
"*huff* *huff* no" he answered.
"did you see something? Mira?" amber asked me.
I didn't answer her.
Not like I needed to, because she knew I saw something.
"are you certain that there was nothing?" amber asked clyde.
"if there was *pant* it's not there anymore!" clyde answered, almost recovered from the barrage of attacks he shot out.
We then heard a grunt from within the cave.
I immediately began to shake again.
"anshul?" clyde questioned.
I then looked at the flareon.
He was still unconscious.
But, why did he grunt in his sleep.
He then turned over.
"he's no longer unconscious, I think" clyde said, padding toward anshul.
"if he moved on his own, that means he's sleeping." Amber stated.
"well, that's a good sign at least." Clyde stated.
Clyde padded toward us now.
"mira? How about I guard the exit so you two can rest?" clyde asked.
I was too afraid to answer.
Amber did it for me.
"that would be very kind of you, clyde!" amber said.
"I will. Please, take some rest" clyde said.
"first! Your paw." Amber said.
Amber turned around to face clyde.
My paws were still wrapped around her.
Clyde limped toward amber.
He raised his paw for amber to look at.
"that's a nasty scratch wound!" amber said, inspecting the wound up close.
"I got it when my paw scraped across the ground"
"my paw got stuck between me and the ground." Clyde explained.
"it's a really deep scratch wound. Try to not put pressure on it." amber advised clyde.
She used aromatherapy on clyde's paw wound.
She then grabbed a sitrus berry and crushed it above his paw.
It did its job.
The healing liquids went into the scratch wound.
Amber then wrapped up clyde's paw with a big leaf.
"there! Remember, don't put pressure on it!" amber warned clyde.
"I won't. thanks!" clyde thanked amber for taking care of his injured paw.
He limped toward his leaf bed, keeping an eye out on the cave entrance.
Amber placed me on the leaf bed.
She laid down beside me.
We hugged each other.

But
Sleep never came.
My mind was still too focused on those terrifying red eyes.
Every time I closed my eyes, they were there.
I was way too afraid to get that nightmare again.
Amber knew how scared I was.
She didn't sleep.
She was more concerned for me, than her own rest.
Amber made sure that she was as close to me as possible.

After a very long time, I fell asleep again.

The next day
I woke up from my slumber.
Amber was still hugging me closely.
The only reason I fell asleep, was my sister.
She will always help me in any way she can.
Just like me, I'd do anything for her.

I raised my head to look around the cave.
The first thing I saw was clyde.
He was still awake and watching the cave entrance closely.
His eyes met mine.
"good morning mira. Did you get some sleep?" clyde asked me with a gentle voice.
I nodded my head at him.
"that's good! Any nightmares?" clyde asked.
"n-no." I answered him.
"hmmm. Well I hope you won't get any like last night again." Clyde stated.
I looked around the cave again.
Everything looked the same.
I then realized something.
"c-clyde?" I asked in a shy voice.
He looked at me.
"yes?" clyde asked.
...
"d-did anshul w-wake up?" I asked in a very shy tone.
Clyde looked at anshul.
"no. he hasn't." clyde said in a defeated tone.
I then grew really worried over anshul.
"hey, you slept through the day for quite some time." Clyde said.
"well, It did take you a long time to fall asleep again"
"I'm glad that you actually got some sleep"
"that nightmare seemed pretty extreme"
"could you explain why you attacked the cave entrance last night?" clyde asked me.
...
I didn't answer him.
"did you actually see something out there?" he asked.
I nodded my head.
"hmmm, perhaps a ghost type. Well, its long gone by now. It's already daytime outside." Clyde stated.
Then, amber woke up.
*yawn*
It took her a minute or two to get to her senses.
When she did, her head raised.
"good morning, sis *yawn*" amber said, still a little sleepy.
She looked around the cave.
"good *yawn* morning, clyde!" amber greeted clyde.
"hehe, good morning sleepyhead!" he joked.
Amber yawned again.
*yawn*
"did you stay awake the entire night?" amber asked.
Clyde smirked.
"yep, I did." He answered proudly.
"how are you not tired?" amber asked in a impressed tone.
"well....I don't know." Clyde said.
"you both slept for a long time, it's pretty much late afternoon right now." Clyde added.
"what? Really?" amber asked.
"yes, here look outside." Clyde said, raising a paw.
Amber padded toward the exit.
"wow! You're right! We slept through most of the day!" amber stated in a surprised voice.
"hey, we are running low on berries. Should I go outside and get some berries?" clyde asked, tilting his head.
"NO!" amber yelled.
"it's dangerous to go alone!"
Amber yelled in a panicked voice.
"but we need berries to survive!" clyde said back.
"Clyde please, we got attacked yesterday!" amber pleaded.
Clyde stopped in his tracks.
He turned back toward amber.
"what!?" he called out.
"w-we got a-attacked when you a-and anshul were g-gone." Amber said in a nervous tone.
Clyde was thinking of how to react to this.
Amber's ears went down and she lowered herself.
Clyde padded toward her.
Amber looked at the ground.
Clyde stopped in front of amber.
He gently placed his injured paw on amber's chin.
He gently raised amber's head to look at him.
"did you get hurt?" clyde asked in a worried tone.
Amber was caught off guard.
She expected clyde to ask why she didn't tell this earlier.
"w-well, it w-was only o-one pokemon"
"but, n-no"
"it o-only knocked me into t-the cave wall." Amber answered clyde in a nervous tone.
Clyde then looked relieved.
"ow thank arceus that you two are unharmed!" clyde said, now hugging amber.
"what pokemon was it?" he asked.
"i-it was a thievul." Amber answered.
"a thievul?" clyde asked.
Amber nodded.
"hmm, that's not good." Clyde stated, breaking the hug.
"w-why?" amber asked in a confused tone.
"thievul always work alone"
"unless they fail to rob somemon"
"then they return with a big group of thievul to team up." Clyde explained.
...
"WHAT!" amber cried out.
"but It said that it wasn't the last we'd see of it!" amber recalled the thievul's last words.
"that's not good! It will return with way more of them!" clyde stated.
"so, w-we aren't s-safe h-here anymore?" I asked in a shy tone.
*crack*
!!!
Clyde threw his head to the entrance of the cave.
A twig just cracked outside.
Clyde pawed toward amber, then toward me.
He held his paw up.
As to say stay here with her.
Amber nodded.
She padded toward me, now standing in front of me, in a defensive stance.
Clyde slowly padded toward the cave entrance.
"did they hear us?"
"if they did, it's your fault!"
"what! How's it my fault! You are the one that needed our help!"
Some pokemon could be faintly heard arguing.
Clyde clearly heard the group.
Just when they started to argue more, clyde jumped out of the cave and used surf.
"hey!! You bunch of noisy exploud's!! I heard yall coming from a mile away!!!" clyde mocked the pokemon.
A fight broke out.
Multiple pokemon could be heard battle crying above.
"it's the thievul's!" clyde yelled into the cave.
I began to shiver again.
Many explosions could be heard.
"eyy!! You said there were only two!! A glaceon and a leafeon!!" one of the thievul yelled.
"you ALL need some wise glasses, because I'm clearly neither of those!!!!!" clyde yelled at the dark types.
"look at this mister mime!! Thinking he could beat like twenty of us!!!" a unfamiliar voice called out.
"even if I was!! You'd still have trouble!!!" clyde taunted the dark types.
More attacks were used.
Many missed.
"aarrgg, get him!!"
Clyde was having little trouble with them.
*cccsshhhhsss*"nnyyyyaaaa!!!"
Somemon just got hit with scald.
...
The battle continued for a long time.
Clyde was simply too fast for them.
But, after a while, he became slower due to exhaustion.
Taking on about 20 pokemon at once was not easy.
It was then that the sound of battle seemed to become fainter and fainter.
Why was the sound becoming more muffled.
Then, a bigger thievul than yesterday ran into the cave.
"well well well, looks like he was right! Hihihi!" it said.
"there are some cute and valuable treasures in this cave!" it said, licking its muzzle.
"get away!" amber yelled, now snarling at the thievul.
I hid behind my sister.
"why should I dear, you have some valuable things I may want to 'borrow' hihihihi!!!" it laughed out.
Amber used vine whip on the thievul.
It got hit by the attack.
"hey!! Come on!! I'm trying to be polite here!!" it said.
Amber didn't listen and shot an energy ball at it.
The attack was too quick to dodge.
"grrrrrr, last chance!!! Give me your stuff!! Or suffer!!" it yelled out in anger.
Amber now shot a leaf storm at it.
The cave was too small to correctly dodge the attack.
The thievul got hit with tons of sharp leaves.
It then got really angry and ran straight at amber.
The speed of it took amber by surprise.
It bit amber with ice fang.
"nyyyaaa!" amber screamed in pain at the stone cold fangs that dug deep into her left side.
The thievul violently began to shake its head while biting down hard on the leafeon.
It then threw amber against the cave wall.
"EEEPP!!" amber yelled from the amount of force she hit the wall with.
Amber was really weakened and slowed because of the chilling bite.
The thievul didn't hesitate and ran at amber again.
It forcefully bit her again.
This time however.
It wasn't a stone cold bite.
It was an electrocuting bite.
"nyaaaiaia!!!" amber screamed in agony at the powerful electric shocks she received from the thunder fang attack.
Sparks were flying off of amber.
My eyes were filled with tears.
I was stunned from fear.
The thievul then threw amber against the same wall again.
Amber had a very deep bite mark on her left side.
Small sparks were still emitting from the wound.
Her entire body was rapidly shooting out small jolts of electricity.
"now then!!"
"perhaps YOU will cooperate and GIVE ME THAT SCARF!!" the thievul yelled at me.
I was shivering from terror.
I kept my paws on my scarf.
"fine then." It said.
It began to run at me with high speeds.
I saw that it was using fire fang and became terrified.
Just before it made contact with me, it stopped.
Its jaw snapped shut inches from my head.
The thievul was rapidly snapping at me with its heated fangs.
When the attack faded, it threw its head back.
"who dares interrupt me!!!" it screamed in anger.
I looked at the pokemon that was behind the thievul.
I saw a faint glimpse of the pokemon.
One thing that stood out the most, was the light that reflected off its eyes.
The right one reflected light like normal.
The left one.......barely reflected any at all.
Before the thievul could do anything. The pokemon behind it pulled on its tail with a lot of power.
The thievul was thrown back at a high speed.
It got knocked into the cave wall.
"eeerrrggg!!" the thievul yelled in pain.
The pokemon padded toward it.
It grabbed the thievul by the back of its head.
The thievul's head was then forcefully shoved into the cave wall, repeatedly.
When the pokemon was done, a tooth of the thievul fell out its muzzle.
The pokemon then threw it outside.
!!!!
Its anshul!!
"anshul!!!" I yelled in happiness.
Anshul woke up.
And.
He's mad.

Anshul's POV
I was dreaming.
My vision was a bit blurry.
But that didn't matter.
I already knew this dream.
It's the one that traumatizes me since I was seven.
...
I was battling.
Nothing I tried to do, worked.
My paws didn't cooperate.
I couldn't move.
I couldn't attack.
Nothing....
The only thing I could....was watch.
My vision was from another mon.
I knew this mon.
Its......my dad's.
...
Many electric attacks were shot.
The target, was always a houndoom.
They were everywhere.
Many were just burning the place to the ground.
Others were burning the residence of the old village.
Everywhere my vision looked, was fire.
The trees were burning.
The houses were burning.
Loud screams of pain were heard all around.
It was the sound of pokemon getting burned alive.
Dad was using many electrical attacks on any houndoom he saw.
Every houndoom he hit, went down.
The power of my dad's electric attacks was enough to knock many out in one shot.
"ulfric!!"
The voice.
It was.
My mothers.
"flora!!" my dad said.
"where is anshul?!!" he asked.
"he's safe, ulfric"
"these monsters will never find him!" flora said to ulfric.
"then, it is time!" ulfric said.
Both ulfric and flora went to battle.
Despite my mother's weakness of fire, she was amazing.
She picked many houndoom up with vine whip, to then throw them up in the air.
When they hit the ground, they either broke their legs or they got knocked unconscious.
Ulfric was calling out thunder attacks left and right.
Any houndoom that got hit with thunder, got fried beyond recognition.
If many surrounded them, ulfric would use discharge.
When a single houndoom got close, ulfric would use double kick (drop kick) on it, knocking it into a burning tree or building.
The battle was very long.
It was only ulfric and flora left.
They skillfully knocked out over 100 together.
...
It was then.
That a houndoom.
No, a mega houndoom.
The leader.
Shot a fire blast at flora.
...
The screams of my mother.
They are the sounds that will haunt me for eternity.
The flames.
Burned her alive.
"FLORA NOOOO!!!!!" ulfric screamed in terror.

There was nothing he could do.
"KKYYYAAAA!!" my mother.
She...
Burned away....
Right before my dad's eyes.
"no" he said in a defeated tone.
"no!" he was merely inches away from were flora laid seconds ago.
Many houndoom were surrounding him.
"NOOO!!" ulfric yelled in rage.
Then, a deadly combo attack of thunder and discharge was used.
Many wicked thunder attacks struck down on any mon close enough.
A discharge that could rival raikou's shot out from the jolteon.
Any houndoom that surrounded my father were.....gone.
Just gone.
The discharge had much more range than a regular discharge.
The chaos it made was insane.
It must have at least knocked out 40 houndoom.
If not killed.
Even the thunder attacks were rapidly striking down on anymon unlucky enough.
"YOU MURDERERS!!!" ulfric screamed out, using every attack on anything that was black and red.
The jolteon lost his mate.
My mother.
Gone..
All because of greedy houndoom that didn't want to share.

It was ten minutes later that ulfric's rapid thunder attacks stopped.
The jolteon kept using any moves he could.
He went on a complete rampage.

It was then...
My father grew tired.
After 4 hours of continuous battling.
My dad...
He lost...
There were too many of them.
They all ganged up on my dad.
Everywhere my dad looked.
Were houndoom.
They all surrounded him.
And attacked....

I woke up.
My mind was confused about the nightmare I had.
It was stunning to experience it again.
But, my confusion wasn't the prime focus at the moment.
It was the very strange pokemon that I've never seen before.
The pokemon was inside the cave.
And it was attacking amber.
My body took some time to wake up.
When I got control of my body, I grabbed its tail.
The mystery pokemon was barely inches away from biting mira.
"who dares interrupt me!!!" it screamed in anger.
Before it could do anything, I used super power to pull it away from mira.
The power I used to pull it away, was enough to send it flying.
"eeerrrggg!!" it yelled in pain as it hit the cave wall.
Before it got the chance to do anything, I quickly ran toward it.
Grabbing the back of its head, I began to repeatedly smash its head into the cave wall.
*bang* *bang* *bang*
I didn't stop.
*bang* bang* *bang*
After some time, I finally got control.
I stopped smashing its head into the cave wall.
A tooth fell out of its muzzle, followed by a lot of blood.
My patience were gone.
I threw it out of the cave.
"anshul!!!" I heard mira yell in happiness.
I didn't react.
My paws made me pad outside of the cave.
It was not normal for me to lose control like this.
My mind was rapidly flashing back and forth between reality and my nightmare.
The visuals of seeing my parents die, made rage build up inside me.
The unfamiliar pokemon got to its feet.
It looked at me.
It then.
Watched me with a terrified expression.
Before I knew what was happening, it screamed in terror.
"nnnyyyaaaaa!!" it turned tail and began to run.
"ITS ONE OF DARKRAI'S FOLLOWERS!!!" it screamed.
A bigger group of them was further ahead.
I followed the running one.
Once I saw what was happening, clyde was attacking the big group of pokemon all on his own.
When the bigger one that was running away reached them, it yelled in terror.
"THERE!! ITS ONE OF DARKRAI'S FOLLOWERS" it yelled, pointing at me with its paw.
"RUN BEFORE IT BURNS YOU ALIVE!!" it screamed in absolute terror.
Before I could take action, they all screamed and ran away.
My anger was rising rapidly.
"Why did they see me as a follower of darkrai?" I wondered, trying to take my mind off of the nightmare.
I couldn't. my mind would just snap back to the nightmare.
It was starting to hurt my head.
The pain was beating.
I had to sit down and rub my head with one of my paws.
"wow, I've never seen so many rattata's run away at the same time!!" clyde jokingly said while padding toward me.

He was now beside me.
I had one of my paws on my head, trying to ease the pain.
"anshul? Are you alright?" clyde asked in a worried tone.
The pain got worse and worse, I had to release the anger.
But on what?
"anshul, did something happen?" clyde was really getting worried with me not answering.
I was getting corrupted by rage, my mind could not stop focusing on my parents.
My heart was beating faster and faster.
"ANSHUL! What's going on, buddy?" clyde yelled in terror.
Everything around me fell silent.
The pain didn't stop, my mind was killing me.
I then finally said something.
"c-clyde..........r-run..." I said in a quiet tone.
"what? Why? What's coming?" clyde asked in a confused tone.
I then forced myself to look up at him.
Whatever he saw, made him creeped out.
He nodded and understood what I meant.
He ran toward the cave.
I ran to an area where no mon was.
When I was far enough away from any mon, I rapidly shot powerful attacks at everything around me.
"WHY!" I screamed in rage.
"THEY DIDN'T DESERVE TO DIE!!!!" my tail charged up an iron tail.
I used it to attack many trees.
Sometimes slamming a giant hole into the trees.
My anger made me burn up on the inside.
It grew out of paw.
I had to use a fire move to cool down.
Fire charged up inside my muzzle.
I screamed toward the sky, were no trees stood.
"WWHHYYYY!!!!" a unbelievable flamethrower emitted from my muzzle.
It must have shot over twenty meter into the air.
The flamethrower wasn't enough.
I combined it with many fire blasts, shooting them up into the air.
The fire blasts had even more range than the flamethrower.
They went about thirty meter and exploded when they went high enough.
Finally, after 5 minutes of continuously using flamethrower and fire blast.
My rage seemed to disappear.
I was panting rapidly now.
*pant* *pant* *pant*
It was something sensitive that would always make me mad.
Just the thought of seeing my parents die for no reason at all, turned me into a volcano.
It wasn't fair how my parents were taken from me.
The terrible memories of me weeping in misery.
When I realized that my parents were gone.
I was destroyed for weeks.
Endless amount of tears streamed from my eyes when I realized that.
...
After a while, I calmed down.
My rage disappeared.
I got control of my mind again.
The terrible memories faded.
Finally...
.....
I got back on my paws.
It was when I raised my head, that I saw something.
The thing I saw were red eyes.
They were watching me.
When I threw my vision toward the eyes, they quickly disappeared.
"I'm not safe here anymore." I stated to myself.
"none of us are"
"I need to warn them, before it's too late." I told myself.
I padded toward the cave.
...
When my head turned the corner of the cave entrance, I was instantly greeted.
"ow my arceus! Anshul! Are you alright?" clyde asked in a very worried expression.
...
"yes." I answered him.
...
"I just had to....think about something." I said.
"okay....but, are you good now?" clyde asked.
"I am, don't worry." I reassured the worried vaporeon.
I then padded inside the cave.
My vision locked on the wounded leafeon that was on the ground.
"woa! What happened?" I asked, padding toward amber.
"watch out!" clyde yelled at me.
I stopped and turned toward him.
"a-amber is r-really wounded. S-she got b-bit with t-two strong bite a-attacks." Mira nervously answered me.
"what attacks?" I asked.
"i-ice fang and t-thunder fang." Mira answered.
I turned back toward amber.
My paw raised toward her.
When I came into contact, a strong electric current shot through me.
I stood my ground and didn't break contact.
The electric current became weaker and weaker.
Amber seemed to loosen up when I did that.
She was extremely tense from the amount of electricity that was jumping from her body.
It looked like she was paralyzed from the electricity.
I need to use a cheri berry to stop the electricity.
"hold on, I'll heal your injury!" I said to amber.
Amber had a hurt look in her eyes.
I pawed at my leaf bag that was in the cave, searching for a cheri berry.
Luckily, there were two in my leaf bag.
I mixed one of the cheri berries with a sitrus berry to create an antidote for the electric effect that was emitting from amber.
Once the mixture was done, I padded toward amber again.
I putted the mixture on the wound and wrapped it up with some big leaves.
Amber whined when I did.
"calm down, it'll all be okay." I tried to comfort her.
"here! Eat this. It'll help you with the electric shocks." I advised to amber, holding the other cheri berry in my paw.
"I'll g-give it to her." Clyde said, raising his paw to receive the berry.
I passed the berry to him and padded back a bit.
"here amber! eat this." Clyde said, holding the berry in front of amber's muzzle.
She slowly opened her muzzle to take a bite out of it.
I was about to grab some berries out of my leaf bag.
Until, a certain dark blue paw was placed on my red one.
I was surprised.
My head slowly turned to the mon that it belonged to.
Mira was standing beside me.
"a-anshul?" she said in a very shy voice.
"yes?" I said, turning my head so I could see her.
"I h-had a t-terrible n-nightmare p-previous n-night." Mira said in a stuttering voice.
"I'm s-scared t-that it w-will happen a-again"
"d-do y-you k-know what t-to d-do?" she asked in a nervous tone.
"well, w-what was the d-dream about?" I asked mira.
She got a scared look in her eyes.
...
Mira didn't answer.
"how could I reassure you?" I asked her a different question.
My mind was starting to think about my own nightmare again.
She began to blush after I asked that.
"w-well, I-I'd l-like it i-if y-you c-could m-maybe....."
Mira was blushing more and more.
Her paws were now over her eyes.
"w-want t-to....."
She was stuttering so much.
"s-sleep b-beside...."
"m-me?" mira asked in an embarrassed tone.
She was squeaking from nervousness.
Her ears were trying to hide her face.
...
Wow....
Mira just asked me if I'd want to sleep next to her.
...
Did my presence calm her down?
Why didn't she want amber next to her?
What if I get another nightmare?
These questions were scrolling through my mind.
I snapped out of it when I heard mira whine beside me.
I gently placed my paw on her back to comfort her.
She stopped shivering when she felt my paw on her back.
"of c-course m-mira, I d-don't m-mind." I answered her.
She used her scarf to cover her face more.
Her paws lowered.
Once she saw that I was looking at her, she raised her paws in front of her face again.
"t-thank y-you!" mira thanked me in a very shy tone.
I was blushing a little myself.
Clyde then padded over with amber on his back.
"ummm, mira? D-do y-you mind if a-amber s-slept with m-me t-tonight?" clyde asked in a gentle voice.
I looked back at mira.
She still had her scarf covering her face.
When clyde spoke to her, she lowered her paws.
She shook her head at clyde.
"great! Thank you mira!" clyde thanked mira.
She raised her paws again.
"just a little heads up, we'll have to leave here pretty early." I told them.
"huh? Why?" clyde asked.
"I've been feeling on edge since we arrived at this cave"
"now that there were some unknown pokemon here, I bet you that they'll return to us." I explained.
"unknown pokemon?" clyde said, tilting his head in confusion.
"well, I've never seen those pokemon before." I stated.
"really?" clyde said.
"those are thievul"
"they are always trying to steal things"
"they tend to work alone"
"unless they locate a serious treasure, somewhere"
"then they group up and try their luck then." Clyde explained the unknown pokemon to me.
"that's interesting." I said with an interested voice.
"I can't believe you've never encountered them before!" clyde said in a disbelieving voice.
I shrugged it off.
"well, I'm okay with leaving here, It's way too dangerous to stay around here!" clyde said.
"okay, mira? Are you okay with it that we're leaving tomorrow?" I asked the innocent glaceon.
She simply nodded while covering her face.
"aww, she is just too innocent to be going through all of this, And her scarf makes her look so adorable!" I thought in my mind.
...
My eye shot open once I realized what I just thought.
...
It's good that I am a flareon, otherwise everymon would have seen my blush.
...
When I looked at amber, she was already sleeping on clyde's back.
"well, goodnight you two!" I said in a gentle voice.
"goodnight!" clyde said.
Clyde softly padded toward the two leaf beds.
He gently placed amber down.
Then, he moved the second leaf bed beside the other.
When the vaporeon made himself comfortable, he laid down beside amber.
He placed his tail over amber.
...
I then looked at mira again.
She was extremely nervous, because she still didn't remove her paws or scarf from her face.
I made a soft squeak from adorableness.
Luckily, no mon heard that.
I decided that the smartest thing to do would be to lay down first.
I padded toward the leaf bed.
The leaves were still quite soft.
When I stretched out to lay down, mira looked at me.
I decided to not look at her to avoid any embarrassing moments.
I made myself comfortable and laid down in such a way that I was facing the wall, and not face mira that would lay down beside me.
It took quite some time until she laid down beside me.
The thing I immediately noticed, was that she avoided contact by laying as far away as possible.
I raised my head to look at her.
...
Yep, she laid on the very edge of the makeshift leaf bed.
I had a feeling in my ears.
They just drooped down.
I don't know why, but they did.
I shrugged it off and tried to fall asleep.
...
...
...
Three hours later
I opened my eyes.
I couldn't sleep.
It took forever to wake up from the fight with the ursaring.
My shoulder was also hurting.
I was on the wrong side of the bed.
My wounded shoulder was underneath me.
"uggg, why do I never pay attention?" I asked myself in my mind.
To my surprise, I wasn't the only one that was still awake.
The other side of the leaf bed's weight shifted.
I then found a very soft blue paw slumped over my side.
...
Mira must have rolled over in her sleep.
That or she was not asleep.
...
About ten minutes later, mira began to shiver a lot.
It was becoming worse by the minute.
".....no....."
She mumbled something in her sleep.
"...please.......no..."
I understood the faint mumbles she was muttering.
Her shivering became more and more violent.
"....they're.......my.......only......fiends..."
".....please.......not......them..."
It sounded like she was begging for something.
".....no....please...."
She was shivering more and more.
She was definitely having a nightmare again.
I did the only thing I could.
I gently rolled over to face her.
She was really tense.
My paw was raised toward her shoulder.
I began to gently rub her shoulder in a comforting way.
I also placed my fluffy tail over her hind legs.
"shhh, calm down, it's just a dream." I silently muttered to her.
She stopped mumbling when I began to soothe her.
My tail was also gently rubbing over her hind legs in a comforting way.
Her shivering seemed to lessen.
Then...
...
She...
...
Laid her head....
....
On my neck fur...
...
She immediately became les tense as well.
She was now very close to me.
Her head laid on my soft crème colored neck fur.
...
I was happy for her that the nightmare stopped.
Then, I tried to fall asleep.
To my surprise, it worked.
I fell asleep beside mira.
