A\N: i'm updating early!! (why? because, i finally logged in into my school computer on wattpad! soo, i'm really proud right now :D )
no luck.
no luck for poor, poor, Demo.
she was following her tracks, but when she looked back, it just looked like a mess.
she sniffed the air if she's close.
no, nothing yet.
"fuck! how am i supposed to get back now???"
Demo pouted, so she continued doing what she was doing before.
following the paw prints of hers.
but sadly, she's not even close...
with Sven and Burt, it was a little calm; but Burt was worrying for his sister.
"she been out there for so long! do you think she's dead? d-do you think that she's lost?? do you think she abandoned us?? w-what if-!"
Burt was mummering way too much. and Sven wanted to stop that.
"Burt! calm down! it's gonna be okay!"
Burt blinked.
"okay?? okay?! how can it be okay, when Demo is out there! AND SHE CAN BE FUCKING DEAD!!" Burt screamed
Sven skin jumped a bit from Burt's emotion change.
"Burt, your feeling overwhelmed? be honest."
Sven asked, earning a nod from Burt.
"yes! i-i'm just worried..that's all.."
Sven nodded, he agreed that Burt felt stressed and worried about Demo's disappearance
Sven had to think of something to make Burt feel, at least less worried.
Sven still had faith that Demo was gonna come back.
but Burt was rather losing it.
fuck deep breaths, they wouldn't work.
not in the case Burt's in.
Sven went to a backpack. he searched for something to help Burt's state.
Burt noticed Sven was trying to help, and he came to his side as well.
sitting on his knees, Burt searched the other backpack.
Sven looked up, and smiled. Burt was helping HIMSELF to be stress free.
there should be something..
Sven found a ball.
a ball.
a ball?
a fucking blue ball.
"hey, Burt?"
Sven's voice caught Burt attention, Burt hummed in as an answer
"i found this.. blue ball. in your bag. what is it for?"
Sven showed Burt the blue ball.
Burt grabbed the blue ball, he bounced the thing, not gonna lie it went up.
really high.
then it went down, but only to hit Sven head.
"OW!"
Sven shot a mad look at the ball, acting if it was a person.
"..i wished i threw it far enough so it can reach Demo.."
Burt's voice shrank into sadness.
so the stupid, fucking, head hitting ball did not work.
Sven grabbed the ball, and put it back inside the bag.
he kept searching, and Burt looked in the other bag.
and in the same bag that Sven found the ball, he found a small pink figure.
it was small, and it was shaped like a gumdrop.
"Burt?"
"yes?"
Sven, without any words coming from his stupid mouth, he showed Burt the figure.
suddenly, Burt had a smile on his face.
and which made Sven's heart melt.
"you found him!" Burt was clapping in joy, but Sven smiled shyly, but he was confused.
"i did?" Sven asked.
"yeah!!"
Burt gently grabbed the gumdrop plush, and it had eyes and a mouth.
Sven notice that Burt, seemed to feel better.
"it helps?"
Sven asked, Burt nodded.
"yeah.. Squishy helps..alot."
Sven smiled and kissed Burt's check.
Burt feels way more calm now..
but poor Demo.
having the hardest time of her damn life.
she stomped her paw onto the ground, getting really angry about this.
she groaned, and hated this.
"this is even worse then having dinner with my brother!"
she yelled.
Demo sighed and sniffed the air again, but she couldn't pick up anything.
bummer.
"yup..even more worse then having lunch with my stupid ass brother."
she kept on walking, she was praying that Sven haven't done nothing stupid to Burt. or have done something stupid
god damnit, she can feel danger.
she ducked to a nearby log, and the figure went pass by.
once it was out of sight, she got out of her hiding place, wondering what that figure was.
she noticed it had a tophat on.
wait a fucking second...
oh shit.
her eyes widened, and she ran as fast as she could.
she had to go back, even if she doesn't know where she's going.
Burt and Sven are in deep danger.
and what she cared about the most was Burt.
that made her run.
but Burt and Sven have no idea there in danger.
and Sven was really getting sick of waiting.
so..he made up his mind.
"i'm gonna go find Demo, be right back.." Sven got up and headed out of the area,
Burt was getting scared.
he didn't want to lose Sven either.
he placed Squishy back inside his bag and ran toward Sven.
Burt tapped his shoulder, earning Sven to turn around.
"Burt? what are you-"
"i'm coming with you. i don't want you to disappear randomly like Demo. plus she's my only family. i'm coming with you to find her too!"
Sven smiled, Burt let him go that easily.
"okay, i kind of knew you wouldn't let me go alone." he chuckled.
Burt rolled his eyes playfully.
"you goofball."
Burt smiled, made Sven's heart melt again.
then they headed forward, to look for Demo.
but only they'll meet danger ahead.
