"Where the fuck are you brat?"
"Sheesh Levi, I'm coming, I lost track of time. Be there in five" I hanged up, running a bit more faster to arrive at my destination sooner.
Today's the day the tea shop's finally operating again. They decided to make a small re-opening ceremony, to at least announce that the tea shop's finally open for business again.
I arrived there soon after. I recognize some of the people as regulars at the tea shop, and some new faces. I could barely see Hanji's frantic waving and Levi's angry glare at me.
I squeezed my way through the crowd, trying to get to the front, bumping into people on the way.
Levi and Hanji wanted me to be a part of the opening since I helped them decorate the place, and gave some tips on their baked goods. I appreciate the offer of cutting the small ribbon, but denied since I just helped like any person would.
I felt like a proud mom seeing both of their faces beaming with happiness and excitement. Hanji was obviously showing it. Levi however, the opposite. But you could see it in his eyes, the joy and pride swirling in them.
My smile faltered a bit, now that Levi's back on track, our time together will be cut short. Levi noticed my fallen expression, and gave me a look that says: 'we'll talk later'.
After people rushed and ordered their food, I waved at them and left, walking towards the book shop.
I fished for my keys in my bag, and inserting in into the hole, only to find out that the door is open. Did Petra forget to close the door? Or is someone else inside?
I gripped my keys in a defensive hold, trying to prepare myself to whoever is it.
I pushed the door open, only to see a man by the counter. Gulping silently, I mustered up the courage and yelled, "HEY! What are you doing here? How did you get in?"
The man jumped, and clutched his chest. My heart thumped louder as he came closer. He stepped into the light.
It was just Mr. Shadis.
Mr. Shadis is the original owner of the bookshop, since he's getting old, he wanted to hire people so he could have his rest. Both mine and Petra's Father knew him, so he asked us if we wanted to work for him.
"Oh, Good morning sir, What brings you here?" He's intimidating as fuck, but I gave my best smile.
"Hm, Nothing, I've just been getting complaints from customers in your shifts this month." He sneered.
Complaints? What? I've done my best with this job, since it's really hard to find one these days.
I racked my brain for times where I messed up, but alas, none.
"Sir, as much as I remember, I didn't do anything wrong, I've been doing my job the best I can." I said, my voice quivering under his intense glare.
"That's not what I heard." He ran his hand through his bald head, and huffed. "Just do your job well, next time you mess up, I'll be supervising you." He headed to the door, stopped and turned his head back to me, "Good day." And left, almost slamming the door shut as if it wasn't glass.
I know I'm not the nicest or tidiest person, but I know when to focus and do my work properly.
I sighed, and went to flip the sign to open. I guess it's time to "properly" do my work.

"You look like your taking a shit, but the shit won't come out" Levi said, poking my forehead getting me out of my thoughts.
"Gee thanks Levi, you're a big help" I sarcastically said, and went back to thinking.
Did I wipe all the shelves before leaving? Did I sweep the floor? Did I turn off the lights? Shit, I think I didn't-
"Ow! Levi!" I touched my forehead in pain, looking angrily at Levi.
"You weren't answering my questions, and you're not paying attention to me," He grabbed my hand, "What's wrong?" His tone softer than it was.
I sighed, "Nothing is wrong Levi, just got told by my boss for things I didn't even do"
"What did he say?" rubbing his thumb over my hands.
"He said that he got complaints coming from my shift" I huffed, and rolled my eyes.
"Did he say what complaint? So you would know if you even did it?" He asked.
"Ah, I forgot. I was too scared being under his glare and I kept staring at his bald head" I joked, making the atmosphere a bit better.
He laughed a bit, "Next time you see him, ask him"
I shivered. The next time I'll probably see him is when he's supervising me.
"Uh huh, I will" I stood up, dusting my pants off, "I'll head back now, Petra's shift is nearing and I need to tidy up"
"Ok, mine or yours?" He asked, standing up also, cups of tea in hand.
"Mine if you'd like, I need help cleaning" I chuckled sheepishly, rubbing my arm.
"Of course, good luck ok? Prove your boss wrong" he joked, and kissed my forehead.

"Scrub harder you brat" He whisked water at me, making me slightly wet.
"Ugh, I don't have strong arms like you! Mine already sore from scrubbing" I waved my arms around, spraying water in the process.
"Probably because you spend all your free time eating and binge watching" He taunted.
I huffed, and continued scrubbing the floor. Levi was definitely enjoying this, and I wasn't. We've been at it for an hour!
"Leeeeeevi! Cleaning doesn't take this long!" I complained, being completely drained.
"Tch, fine. Now go wash up. We'll watch a movie now" He stood up, wiping his hands with the cloth.
I immediately stood up, "Yes! Thank you!" I thundered up the stairs, wanting my cold/hot bath.
Levi's PoV
I chuckled and shaked my head, picking up the cleaning supplies and returning them where we got them. Sweeping the floor one last time, I could hear y/n's footsteps going down the stairs.
"Cuddles or movie?" She asked. I'm definitely ok with both, but I'll choose cuddles for now. I need it- I mean, she needs it because of her shitty boss today.
"Cuddles."
She nodded in approval, and grabbed my hands, making our way to her bedroom.

I couldn't sleep. It was my insomnia acting up. So instead, I stared at her face, her grip tightening on my waist.
Her performance at her job was very professional. You wouldn't even know that she acts like a crackhead when we're with friends, what type of complaint did she get? She wasn't the only one working there. So it couldn't be her.
