Flashback from yesterday night:
"Your late you stupid bitch",
my supposed mother shouts as I enter the house.Shes laying half drunk on the couch . The house filled with bottled beers and shattered glass everywhere.Ughhhb Fuck my life.
" Sorry I'm late I had a project due today", I say calmly.She began getting up,well you could say tried, she's stumbling towards me .I knows what's about to happen,she's gonna beat me .Its become routine I don't know,why, I don't fight back,I know I could beat her,I think it's the good side of me that still thinks she has some good in her. But what she did to me when I was just 13 is unforgivable.
I didn't even notice I zoned out till I felt a sting on my arm "WHAT THE FUCK".
I look over to my upper arm and see blood gushing out did she just fucking stab me .The blood had me feeling nauseous I was stumbling back that I didn't even notice her in front of me, but when the smell of alcohol hit my nostrils I knew she was gonna beat me .When I looked directly into her eyes all I saw was pure raw hatred and disgust. She grabbed a fistful of my hair and proceeded to slap me hard , my face jerked to the side .
"Such a stupid disappointment" , she said with so much hatred in her voice.
"I hate you ,you slut" , she screamed
.When I heard the word slut come out of her mouth , it was as if someone took my airway away.
She threw me on the floor and proceeded to kick my stomach ,my ribs were aching.
OWWWW I silently scolded myself.
Ughh she stopped it looks like she was gonna pass out .Her heart shaped face turned into a sadistic smirk .To distracted watching her face never saw her foot put pressure on the stab wound she gave me earlier.
"Ahhhhuuuuuuooo" , I shout
,that shit burned .My vision then goes very blurry I could see black dots but before I could pass out ,
she literally fell backwards with a loud THUMP .
Present:
" You stupid bitch", I whisper out very groggily,
Everything hurt .Ughh Elanora get your grip.
I managed to get up very painfully I looked down and saw a puddle of blood,my fucking blood.I climbed the stairs which I was thankful, it was right next to the now fucking dirty living room .Ughhhh I literally took forever this morning cleaning it.I crawled up the stairs slowly.
I limped to my bedroom,and then to the bathroom.
Once I enter,I looked at my reflection the once happy girl was gone.Beautiful honey colored eyes,full crimson red lips, my button nose,my sharp jawline,the small dimple on my right cheek, and all the scattered small freckles on my skin . I'm just a girl trying to forget her shitty past.We all have our demons but letting your demons chase you is horrible.
I managed to get the shower without hurting myself.I can't stop the what if's of my life .But the biggest one is what if my mother never took me from my papa and my brothers .I miss them dearly .
I stop the thoughts and scrub my hair and my body with my lavender scented scrub . Its smells like heaven.
As am getting out of the shower I hear a buzzing noise ahh my phone probably Lucas my bestie.
But first I need to tend all my cuts especially the fucken stab wound good thing it's not that deep just needed a couple stitches.I go to my closet and put on some undergarments.I put on grey sweatpants and one of many stolen Lucas sweatshirts.
One I'm done changing I go across the bedroom checking to see who texted me.
Indeed I was right its Lucas my bestie, he wants to go out again .
Text messages:
Lucas:let's go out
Me:seriously again
Lucas:ughh yes come on let's go get food
Me:fine but I'm not changing but just so you know I look homeless
Lucas:ok I'll be there in 10
Me:ok see you ily 😚(I love you)
Lucas:Ily to 😘
Fuck my body aches.Once I fully get up from my very tempting bed I go to my closet looking for some sandals .I take some pain killers for the pain as well.
"Ahhhh mother ducker" i say pained as I crouched down under my bed to get the hidden money I have .About 500,000 in savings , thank you street racing and fighting thanks to you.Once I have everything I first make sure satan isn't awake .When I hear nothing I limped out of my room towards the front door waiting for Lucas to arrive.
HONK HONK HONK he's so annoying he's lucky I love him .
The sun was going down,showcasing a beautiful sunset.When I see his Audi R8 coupe pull up in the driveway.I knew I was fucked .When I saw his smiling face from afar ,but when the headlights of his car came across my face his smile disappeared and turned into anger .I could see how tight his jaw was ,how hard he was clenching his teeth.I didn't notice him come out of the car to distracted zoning out .When he saw my face which had a hand print on it he hugged me like life depended on it .I didn't know I needed a hug but I wrap my arms around his neck and inhaled his cologne which calmed me down .
"Elanora....", he managed to say but before he could say anything I cut him off
"Do..don't pl please just hug me please" , I stuttered out
His hands on my waist only tightened as his face was on my neck .After a couple minutes pass we managed to compose ourselves and get in the car.
"Are you ok ?Does anything hurt ?" , he asked very silently.
"I'm ok I promise just a couple more months ok and I could finally leave that hell", I utter out to him
"Ok fine I'll drop it I'm just worried about you you've been different lately"
"It's been almost a year since he left I just miss him that's all",
i whisper quietly I'd be surprised he heard me.But he did because I saw his big green foresty eyes widen in realization.
"It's ok Elanora it's ok to be sad ,
cry just let it out"
Once he said those words it hit me like a bus I miss him so much.I was full on having a break down,I was fully on sobbing now .My red eyes ,my runny red nose ,my fist clenching and unclenching was a sign for Lucas to pull over and grab me so I was straddling his waist .I didn't care right now that my ribs were aching or that my arm was stinging,I just put my arms around his neck and sobbed and sobbed till I didn't have any more tears left.
"Thannnnk ....youuu", I managed to say after my break down.Still on his lap I thought of him .Ughh I hate him for leaving me ,but I still love him so much why did you have to leave me why.
"I love you so much Elanora",Lucas whispered in my ear
"I love you so much Lucas I don't know what I would do without you", I whispered back in his ear
Sometimes silence is better than talking just knowing someone's there with you.
"You wanna go get some McDonald's"
He said while grabbing my face with both his hands making me look at his beautiful green eyes .I sit there admiring him I hit jack pot with someone like him .Hes looking at me intensely with adoration and love in his eyes.
"Yes I would love some MCD", still looking at his eyes.
He gave me one of his beautiful million dollar smile which can bring anyone to smile .I couldn't help but smile at the man who's been there with me through everything.
"There we go that's what I wanted to see your beautiful smile with your adorable dimple"
I couldn't help the blush making its way to my face .I put both my hands in my face trying to hide it but Lucas being Lucas took them off and just smiled .His brown almost gold hair falling off his face,his beautiful sharp jaw line,great button nose ,perfect eyebrows which I'm extremely jealous of.
"Let's go then I'm hungry and thank you", I utter out as I got off his seat and back to mine.He just glanced at me from his seat and smiled which made me instantly smile back.He restarted the engine as we made our way to McDonald's in a snowy Chicago.I put Electric love by BØRNS , one of my favorite bands . I move my hand to the radio and put it at full volume .I laughed as I glanced at Lucas who was singing his heart out .I couldn't help but sing my favorite part.
"BABY YOUR ELECTRIC LOVEEEEEEEEEEEE" me and Lucas sang like our life depended on it.We both laughed when the song was done.By the time we finished our second karaoke we arrived at McDonald's.
"What do you want", Lucas said as he went through the drive through .
"10 chicken nugget , a large French fries , and a frappe", I say loudly as I get the money out of my sweatpants .
"What are you doing,I'm paying,put it back"
" no here I got it my treat for today" I say handing him 40 dollars
"No I got it"
"Lucas take it now" I said through gritted teeth as if sensing my madness he quickly took the money.
"Thanks you have a nice day" McDonald's employer
"Thank you have a nice night",Lucas tells as he
got the McDonald's bag and handed it to me .Me being me started eating my fries .
"Your staying at my place tonight,I don't want you getting hurt anymore"
"Ok fine but hurry up I'm hungry",I whine
"Your hangry", Lucas questions trying hard not to laugh
"Yeah so what you could go suck ass", I said very sternly and amusing which he could tell because he looked over to me in a red light and just chucked, in response I just stuck my tongue out to him I know very childish but what ever .
Once we parked in his driveway I sprinted out the car and to the front door which was locked.
"Someone's eager to eat", he said while laughing . I just rolled my eyes and proceeded to go in the homey home.I didn't even look behind me to see if he was there .I just ran to the living room turned on the tv and proceeded to watch friends as I ate my very good meal.I heard his footsteps coming to the living room .He had changed into something more comfortable,black sweatpants and a simple white shirt.He joined me in the sofa and sat next to me proceeding to eat his Big Mac I'm not gonna lie it looked really juicy and good.He turned to face me and saw I was staring at his burger , he pushed his burger to my mouth and I took a big bite out of it .
"Ooooh thats really good thank you , want some chicken nuggets or fries",I asked with my mouth full of food , he just looked at me amusingly .
"No thanks but can I have some frappe"
"Yess my majesty", I said with my best British accent which he just threw his head in laughter.
That night we just laughed and had fun .I was getting sleepy I think Lucas was too because he was yawning .
"Let's go to sleep" , I muttered out sleepy
All he did was nod and turn off all the light inside the house .Then we went to his room,the dark walls catching my attention.
"Come on", Lucas utters sleepily ,i make my way towards his bed which was covered in so many sheets which I was happy about because it would be so warm.Once I got under the covers Lucas pulled me towards him his face deep on my neck and his hands on my waist .I put my hand over his which was in my waist and closed my eyes and let darkness overtake me .
Next day:
The next morning I woke up to me cuddling Lucas while his head is in between my boobs.I moved a little making sure not wake him up.
I opened his door and closed it so he wouldn't wake up.I made my way to the kitchen which was marble designed,very beautiful he's got really great taste.I decided to make pancakes,bacon ,and egg.
Once my pancakes were done I cooked the other food.I heard footsteps descending from the stairs and knew Lucas was awake .He stood there standing in the wall watching me cook .
"It smells really good but why did you leave me I was so warm",Lucas says ,
as I looked at his eyes which were already looking at me through my glasses.I make my way towards the door where he was leaning on and threw my arms around his neck while he put his on my waist, and he decided to spin me in circles while I was clinging on him like a koala.
"sit down the foods ready", I told him as he settled me back down on the floor and sprinted towards the counter.I made my way towards the counter and sat next to him aa we ate breakfast.I decided it was time to go home .I cleaned the kitchen and then got in his Audi 8r Coupé so he could drop me off home.
When we got there ,there were police officers surrounding my home.I got off and sprinted to the officer ,he saw giving me a look of pity.
"Are you Elanora Russo" he said looking at me with pity
"Yes that's me what's happening where's my mother",I asked boringly with Lucas by my side .
"I'm sorry miss but your mother has been found dead on a ditch I am so sorry for your loss", he said with pity and sadness in his brown orbs looking directly at me.
"What now foster home", I asked with no emotion what so ever. He was taken back by my bluntness but I didn't care.
"Actually we may think we found some relatives ,the social worker went to go check your files she should be here any minute", he said and walked away.I turn to see Lucas who looks excited but I could see the worrines in his eyes.
" Lucas I'm finally free", I utter out nervously.
"I know do you think they'll get a hold of your father", He asks
"I don't know maybe,I haven't heard form him since I was like 4"
"Let's just wait and see it's gonna be ok" Lucas said hugging me .
We waited for about 20 minutes till an old lady with paperwork on her hand comes towards me I'm guessing she's the social worker.
"Good news Elanora we found your father and he was more than willingly to take you in", the social worker mutters out excitedly .
I stand there speechless and excited.Those words changed my life completely .Who would've thought my life changed here from now on.
Who knew all the hardships I'd have to go through.
