Tonight was prom you were ecstatic it was going to be perfect, you were going with JJ .You had on your red dress with a slit down the thigh and your black heals.
Once you got there JJ was waiting outside with john b in a tux nervously pacing around
Once he saw you walking towards him his eyes brightened and he smiled brightly
i wrapped my arms around his neck while his went around my waist. you kissed him passionately before he said "you look gorgeous" .
"thank you baby, you look amazing, were did you get the tux?" you asked
"JB let me barrow it" he said pointing to john b who was talking to sarah
"yoo guys lets go in there and dance" John b said enthusiastically
"okie dokie" you said
The night we met played on the speakers as people started slow dancing
"may i have this dance m'lady?"he asked in a horrible English accent
"how could i say no" you said back with an equally as bad accent
We danced for around 2 minutes before he suddenly started getting dissy and walking backwards
"he baby are u ok?" you asked with worry eyes
"yah im ok princess" he said before passing out on the floor
you immediately went over to him and said "SOMEONE CALL FOR HELP!!"
"oh my god Y/N what happened" john b asked
"i don't know we were dancing and then he suddenly just collapsed" you said while you cried
The ambulance took him to the nearest hospital while you, john b, Sarah, pope, and kie waited in the waiting room.
You had been waiting for 5 hours until the docter came out "family for JJ maybank" he said
We all stood up abruptly walking over to the doctor
"Hi I'm Y/N L/N, is he ok?" you said. The docter looked at all of you with a look of guilt before saying " JJ has acquired immune deficiency syndrome, better known as AIDS."
Once you heard those words come out of his mouth your heart absolutely shattered, that's when pope said "cant AIDS be treated?"
Some hope came back to me in that moment but was quickly dulled when the doctor said, "it is to late in the process, there is nothing we can do to stop it"
That's when you realized that you were gonna lose the love of your life and there was nothing you could do about it.
"He has a couple days before the virus completely takes over his system" The doctor said sadly
you,Kie, John B, Pope, and sarah were now bawling when the docter said"He should be waking up soon you may go see him"
We all nodded while you went in first. He was on a ventilator and looked horrible. When you saw him you immediately started crying (A/n:if you have watched 13rw this is the part when Jessica goes to see Justin in the hospital )
"hey baby" you said to him even though he cant hear you cause he is not awake yet
"i hear what people say about people being able to hear someone when there unconscious, so i just wanted to talk to you. I will obviously talk to you when you wake up but i just want it to be one sided for now so here goes" you said, you were trying your best to not cry before talking to him
" I love you more then you will ever know, JJ maybank you showed me what 2 years of real love looks like, you are a brave,loving,loyal and amazing soul. I would never trade anything for our relationship. You were there for me everyday all day. Shit you even comforted me when i was on my period" you chuckled before becoming serious again and continuing.
"you are an angel, love. You brought me hope when all i saw was the world crumbling around me. You made me feel whole, you are my rock and i dont know what i would do without you. Please dont leave" you said that last part in barely a whisper as John B came in and comforted you
John B went in next while you waited in the waiting room with everyone else. Kie went in next, then pope, then Sarah.
The doctor said to go home and take a shower since we had been there around 7 hours. you didnt want to leave at first but you decided that it was for the best.
Once you got home everything dawned on me.
you gonna lose you soulmate, your bestfriend, and the love of your life.
Once you got in the shower you just cried and cried and cried. You didn't even want to think what life would be like without JJ, You did not want to know what life would be like with out his funny remarks, amazing cuddles, world ending kisses, or his infamous smirk.
Once you got back to the hospital the nurse told you he was awake, You waited a couple of minutes before finally going in the room.
He looked horrible, you immediately went and sat on the chair beside his bed and straddled his face
(^ that is for everyone that is better with visuals, In this case just imagine it as JJ in the hospital bed instead of justin and you sitting there instead of clay)
"i love you baby" you said while holding his hand
" i love u to, can u come and lay with me princess?" he said. Even when he was extremely sick he always knew how to make me smile
"of course i can" you said
I sat of the bed while straddling his face but still being careful to not hurt him in any way.
"Hey baby?" he asked
"yah?" you said back
"i'm scrared, i don't want to die" he said
"hey, don't be scared my love, you are strong, you can do this" you said
"please dont leave" he said in barely a whisper
"i am not going anywhere" you said while leaning your forehead against his
He closed his eyes for 2 seconds then everything started beeping and the doctors came rushing in.
they let you stay while he was slowly drifting
"ma'am i am so sorry but he is slowly dyeing if we don't give up now then he will have to be on a ventilator his whole life" the docter said with sorrowful eyes
You started bawling while John B, pope, kie, and sarah talked to the docer.
"can we talk?" john b asked
"yah" you said
"listen i know you may not want this to happen but he is not getting any better and there is nothing we can do, you know that he would not want to be in a ventilator his whole life. He is my best friend but i think its for the best" he said while crying
" as much as i love JJ i know he would not want to be strained for the rest of his life" you said while hugging JB
2 hours later everyone said there goodbyes and it was time
you held his hand while his monitor stopped beeping
you bawled for what felt like hours, you was alone.

A/N: This took me forever to wright but i loved the way it came out in the end. This is honestly probably my favorite imagine i have done so far. I love 13rw but the last episode i cried so hard when it was over. I will be making some cute fluffy imagines to apologize about how sad this one is.
