"YOU ACTUALLY KISSED HIM?!" Mai gasped and watched you nod,
"Y...Yeah.." You confirmed,
"YES! About time!" Mai clapped her hands together with excitement, "Please tell me ALL the deets, how did it happen?!"
"Well...uh...."
"Did he at least say he loved you before he made out with you?" Mai smirked as you gasped,
"M...Mai-"
"Whhaaatttt?" Mai smirked, "You mean to tell me you had that hunk of a king to yourself and you didn't take it to the next level?"
"W-" Your face turned red, "M-M-Mai..."
"I'll be very disappointed if you didn't." Mai sneered, "Did you?"
You stared at her before your mind flashed back to when you and Yami had that intimate moment. As though you felt that thrill and friction run down your spine, you shuddered and finally gave her a tiny nod. Mai smirked at this and clasped her hands together,
"This calls for a celebration. Oh yes, it definitely does." Mai nods as she rises from her bed and over to the kitchen down the hall. She took you over to her place, it was a small condo that actually fit her style - light purple walls surrounded her bedroom that had hot-pink sheets, her pillows were heart-shaped and besides her queen-sized bed was a mini wooden drawer that had a small lamp. Her wardrobe was very old-fashioned but styled with tiny crystals that hovered over her main mirror. Her desk was also the same texture as the mini drawer next to the bed and had more drawers that hid a laptop Mai uses for work purposes. Mai burst back into the room with a bottle of wine and two glass cups. You blinked and stared at her - when you and Mai entered her condo, she immediately asked you about you and Yugi while slipping into her pajamas - which was a pink tank top and purple loose pants. Her hands flaunted the drinks and quickly ran over to sit beside you with a smirk on her face as she popped open the bottle,
"Finally! About damn time you and Yugi took it to the next step~!" She hummed as she filled the cups halfway before putting the bottle aside and giving one glass to you.
"You are so lucky Nymphi isn't here." You giggled as you took the glass of wine from her hands. Mai winked at you and took a sip from hers once her glass gently touched yours as a toast. Once you and Mai had the first sip, you stared at the wine in your cup with your eyes narrowed.
"Wow...I haven't been this happy in a while." Mai sighed with her body relaxing,
"Hey....Mai?" You looked at her,
"Hm?" Mai looked at you,
"...I have a question."
"OOh~ Tell it to me girl~"
It's a feeling that had been puzzling you since Dartz had been taken care of. As much as you want to cherish this moment...for some reason..
"....I....don't know how to describe this....but....the Seal of Orichalcos has been...acting strange."
"Uh oh," Mai blinked, "Big ol' dragon jealous it can't sip this luscious wine?"
Questioning if Mai was lightweight, you continued, "...No...like, it's trying to tell me I don't belong here..like in this world. Like there's something I need to do - think of how I was back in the Battle City Tournaments."
"Yikes, when you were in that fiasco?" Mai took another sip, "You scared me to death. So the Orichalcos is trying to tell you that you're not done?"
"Well, the only place besides Earth is the moon....so unless the Seal wants you to be an astronaut-" Mai smirked as you lightly elbowed her while shaking your head with a small grin,
"C'mon Mai, I'm serious."
"Well," Mai huffed, "Honestly, throughout that tournament, the Seal didn't really tell you anything, right?"
"Well...yeah...it was more of Dartz." You nodded
"So then let it take its course." Mai shrugged, "Don't worry or think about it too much or it'll eat you up like Tea's jealousy."
You stared at her before realizing you forgot to tell her something important...well...important in her book.
"....you look like you remembered something I should know." Mai caught wind of this and went for another sip, "I'm ready. Dump me with everything you-"
"Tea apologized."
Mai choked in her wine and wiped her mouth from the mess that sprung, "...I'm sorry...what?" She asked through coughs. "Tea?? Apologizing?"
You nodded,
"Tea? The girl who was literally shitting on you this whole time?? Apologized?" She asked for clarification,
"Well...uh...I don't know if I'd call it a- "
"I'll be the judge of that." Mai rolled her eyes and scooted to the bed frame, "I am quite the expert on this sort of stuff."
"How so?" Your eyebrow quirked as you took another sip. Mai cocked an eyebrow at you before swirling her wine,
"'Cause of a certain blonde boy."
"Ah....Joey." You nodded as you scooted next to her, "Well....she...uh...was kinda awkward."
"Eye contact?" Mai asked,
"No..."
"Fully acknowledging her shitty moves?"
"Uh...not really-"
"Moving around?"
"A lot.."
"More than me?"
"Kinda..."
"Her words vague?"
"...yeah...sorta..."
"Yup. That settles it." Mai rolled her eyes, "A classic recipe of 'I don't know what I did wrong but I am gonna say sorry anyway for validation' trope."
"That's....rather specific..." You blinked as you took another sip,
"It wouldn't have been if Yugi wasn't there - he was there, right?"
"Yeah..."
"So was everyone else?"
"....yeah..." You began to see her point.
"There." Mai nodded to herself, "That's a bullshit apology. She just said it. I don't think she actually realizes what she has actually done."
"Why do you think she's like that?" You asked,
"Cause she's jealous you're snatching her prince away~ You're such a bad girl~" Mai teased as she bumped her shoulder against yours with a smirk.
But....well....it's Yami you're with...not Yugi-
"She's probably also mad that everyone is close to you - you got me, Yugi, Duke, the Kaiba boys, and even Joey within like what, a few interactions? I bet Tea was really annoying when they all met her first."
"Nah...I don't think Yugi thought that." You shook your head,
"C'mon. Ya gotta admit, Tea can be a little annoying with her long-ass friendship speeches no one wants." She giggled, "Unlike you, she actually tries to be relevant. I think she's mad you stole the show."
"I...didn't even do anything though...I'm just existing with a ten-thousand-year-old curse on my ass.." You frowned,
"Maybe you're more interesting than her," Mai smirked as she took another sip, "Hell if you sat me down and had to choose to hang with some pick me or a girl with some ancient beast inside, I'd choose the latter." She winked, "Look at that eye, girl! It looks so badass on you, now I think of it, you should've kept the eyepatch off this whole time!"
"Oh you're just saying that." You rolled your eyes with a smirk as you swirled your drink,
"You wish~" Mai rolled her eyes, "You're lucky you're even in my presence!"
Both you and Mai laughed as you continued drinking the wine until your vision began to grow a bit hazy. Despite all the fun and joyous conversations that spiraled from that room, the feeling of leaving felt....close yet far.
She told you to not think about it.... you thought to yourself as you laid beside her. It was about four in the morning and you finally sobered up. Mai, on the other hand, drank a little too much so now she's passed out next to you. ....yet...
You narrowed your eyes at the ceiling, something's going to happen. You aren't sure what, but you know it's going to be soon.
But....when? You slowly sat up and stared at the sheets, unlike in Battle City Tournaments, you actually felt more prepared. You weren't sure if it was because of the Leviathan now being on your side, or simply because of the relief that Dartz, the main threat, is gone.
Your eyes averted to the mirror which showed your reflection despite the room being dark. You intensely stared at yourself as though maybe your reflection could give a hint. Just as you were about to look away, you caught your reflection wearing a much different attire from what you were wearing now. For a brief second, you caught yourself wearing a silky white dress. This dress had a light green lace that was uniquely wrapped around your waist, the center holding the Seal of Orichalcos. The dress had thin straps that loosely rested on your shoulders, your hair was loosely braided and rested on your shoulders - with each braid held a light green crystal that shined through the reflection. On top of your hair lay a beautiful golden crown that was gently resting on your head - it almost looked like a headband if you didn't notice the design in the center - the structure held an eye that looked almost similar to the eye in the Millenium Items. You froze in place as this brief vision passed, leaving you staring at your current reflection. You trembled at this, your eyes wide and your heart beginning to pound.
'....Maybe you drank too much...' You thought to yourself as you rubbed your eyes in hopes to wipe that vision out of your head. Taking a few deep breaths, you heard a gentle knock at the door. Squinting, you stared towards the exit of the bedroom with a raised eyebrow - who the hell is trying to come into Mai's condo at four in the morning? Gingerly escaping the comforting bed, you quietly walked to the door and looked into the peephole - your skin turned pale despite holding the urge to laugh. You quietly unlocked the door and peeked out to giggle at the man standing before you,
"What's so funny?" The man asked with a cocked eyebrow,
"Well, I didn't think you'd be the type to come yourself to pick me up." You giggled, "Kinda new...but also kinda scary."
The man had his arms crossed with his fingers tapping in impatience, "You know how long it took to get from Cassandra on where you were?"
"Yeeeaahhh....Cassandra can be like that sometimes...sorry Kaiba~"
"C'mon. I hope you plan on coming with us." Kaiba sneered. You blinked and raised an eyebrow, what is he talking bout-
Oh....WAIT THE TOURNAMENT-
You gasped, "....give me like....one minute."
"One minute." Kaiba nodded as you darted back down to Mai's room. Knowing how much she drank, you simply took out a note and wrote down a message
Yeah, Kaiba stalked me here and is dragging me out for something.

Nodding in approval, you put the note on the drawer next to her bed, put on your shoes, and closed the door behind you. Greeted by the cold air, you looked at Kaiba,
"...so..are we gonna lock-"
"Let's go. I'm already late as it is." Kaiba took your arm and dragged you out to the private car that had been waiting for you.
Already regretting not adding in the note to lock her door, you sat next to Kaiba in the backseat as Roland was in the driver's seat - taking off the moment seatbelts were on.
"...Are you gonna duel too?" You asked,
"No." Kaiba shook his head, his face showing disappointment, "I am too busy with all that. I am late already with finalizing things."
"Like?" You tilted your head, "It's four in the morning, what could you be late to-"
"Finishing the invitations for the duelists, preparing the sponsors, making sure security is prepared, making sure all the duel robots work, double-checking ride premises to see if there are any potential problems-"
"Jeez." You stared at him in shock, "...do...do you sleep?"
"No." Kaiba shook his head,
"Explains the attitude then, huh?" You smirked as Kaiba rolled his eyes,
"But seriously though, when this is all done, do you plan on resting up?"
"I am the CEO of a very widespread company, (y/n). I do not have the time for that." Kaiba sneered,
"Well, I mean....that's the thing. You're the CEO. You are the boss...so...ya know...one day of resting isn't gonna break stocks or anything. I think Mokuba would love that,"
Kaiba stared at you quietly,
"I mean, whenever I was in solitary confinement...well...when I was dragged there...Nymphi was all alone..." You bit your lip, "...I felt bad whenever I'd leave to see her...so...I mean..."
"Unlike you, I am not in solitary confinement." Kaiba cocked an eyebrow,
"That's....not the point..." You raised an eyebrow at him, "what I mean is I was occupied and it left her alone, so whenever I'd spend time with her, I've noticed how happy she was. So, maybe although it may not look like it, Mokuba wants to spend some time with you bro-to-bro? He does defend you a lot when Joey makes his remarks about you."
Kaiba sighed and stared at the window,
"One day wouldn't hurt....I mean, obviously not now, but later on. Like, after all this is over." You shrugged,
"Maybe one day.." Kaiba mumbled as the car pulled over to the Card's Chalice, "Mokuba will be picking up Yugi in a few hours. Go with him."
"You're not coming?" You asked as Roland opened the door. Kaiba shook his head,
"No. Mokuba will pick you up before takeoff, so be ready in three hours."
"Got it." You nodded and left the car. Figuring sleep wouldn't be advisable, you casually walked back inside and headed to Nymphi's room rather your room. This not only be because you missed her, but because her room lacks mirrors - unlike your room. Not wanting to encounter another strange episode as you did in Mai's bedroom, you simply waited three hours - which actually took a bit longer than you expected. You kept yourself occupied by reading some of her books and looking through her deck - already kinda suspicious on why she has some cards Cassandra has.
Well, luckily for you, Nymphi wakes up early. She woke up at around six-thirty - thirty minutes before Mokuba shows up. The moment her crimson eyes met yours, they lit up with enthusiasm as she jumped on you,
"You're here!" She tiredly gasped,
"Mhm~ And I'm leaving in thirty minutes to get Yugi." You nodded and watched her face fall,
"...what? You just got here."
"I know..." You frowned, "...I gotta go pick up Yugi and Yami, the man you saw earlier!"
"Can I come with you?" Nymphi asked suddenly, her eyes wide with determination,
"You want to come?" You blinked, "Are you sure?" You asked and watched her vigorously nod,
"Yes. I want to see daddy again."
Raising an eyebrow at Nymphi's language, you rose to your feet, "...who is daddy?"
"Daddy." Nymphi nodded,
"...you...you mean Yami?!" You squeaked as Nymphi nodded,
"The man I saw, that was daddy."
"...hold on missy." You shook your head, "...uh...damn is it the drinking...yeah it's probably the drinking.."
"What drinking?"
"Nothing to worry about." Deciding to brush that off, you gave Nymphi a smile, "you wanna come? Okay."
Besides, you're not dueling anyway....unfortunately...
Right before Mokuba arrived, you quickly went into your room and picked up Yugi's jacket - you almost forgot about it until you glanced at your bedroom door thinking you're forgetting something. Right as you took Nymphi and walked outside, Nymphi stared at the jacket,
"...Can I wear it?" Nymphi asked,
"It's gonna be big." You warned,
"I wanna wear it." Nymphi pouted.
Not being able to say no, you opened the jacket and helped her put it on. Right on queue, Mokuba arrived, and after gushing on how adorable Nymphi looked, he took you and Nymphi into the car and towards the chopper - where he was going to pick up Yugi.
"You know...(y/n)..." Mokuba whispered as he played rock-paper-scissors with Nymphi, "..I dueled Nymphi..."
"And he lost!" Nymphi cheered, "I won!"
"...you....lost to a -" You smirked as Mokuba frowned,
"...I think she cheated."
You perked up when he said that, "...she does have some of Cassandra's cards..."
"You don't think Cassandra is teaching her how to cheat!" Mokuba gasped,
"No, she isn't." Nymphi shook her head,
"Do you even know the rules?" You asked,
"Some of them," Nymphi replied as she and Mokuba continued playing until Roland came through the speaker,
"We have arrived."
Mokuba rose to his feet and stretched as the chopper began to land.
"Come on, Nymphi," You picked her up from her seat, "Let's go meet Yugi and his friends."
"Are we gonna see him?" Nymphi asked,
"Yes...yes we will, but we must have patience." You assured, "Remember, good things come to those who wait."
Mokuba reached up to pinch Nymphi's cheek, which he managed to do once you lowered yourself a little. The doors of the chopper opened once the engines turned off, and you made eye contact with the purple-eyed young King of Games.
"'Sup, Yugi?" You greeted as Yugi ran to you with a smile,
"Hi (y/n)! How's it g-" His eyes locked with the child you were carrying,
"OH! Is this Nymphi!?" Yugi gasped with a huge smile, "Yami told me a bit about her! Hi, little Nymphi! I am Yugi Mutou! I'm really close with Yami, the man you saw earlier!"
Her crimson eyes lit up, "Where is he?"
"Do you want to see him?" Yugi asked with a smile and watched her nod, "I'll bring him over, I just need to get him out of his room."
"He has a room?" You raised an eyebrow,
"Yeah, he should be noticing you're here. He tends to do that."
"Are you sure though?" You blinked,
"Positive, kiss him hello for me~. I'll be watching~" He smirked as the puzzle let out a familiar glow. Blushing slightly, you shook your head as Yami appeared before you, his face just the same as yours,
"...He's watching, isn't he." You asked as Yami averted his eyes next to him,
"...He's smirking at us." He nodded as his attention shifted to Nymphi. His eyes briefly widened as the little girl quietly stared at him,
"Nymphi! It's been quite a bit, I'm surprised you're here." Yami gasped as Nymphi's eyes lit when he acknowledged her.
"She's been talking about you since I came back to Papa's." You bounced her a little as she leaned towards Yami as though she wanted him to hold her. Without hesitation, Yami pulled her away from your arms and into his embrace as he held her tightly,
"And I see she is wearing Yugi's jacket."
"You said to return it, didn't you?" You sneered with a small smirk, "She wanted to wear it....I'm even surprised she's letting you hold her."
"Not that social then, huh?" Yami faced Nymphi with a gentle smile, "It's alright, I am very much the same."
"Yugi! Are you hearing this?!" Tea interrupted from behind, "Kaiba is gonna have a new tournament!"
"He is?" Yami looked at you for confirmation and watched you nod,
"Yeah, the Grand Prix."
"Will you be participating?" Yami asked with a smirk, "I'd hope so, I'd love to duel you."
"Would love to, but nope." You shook your head and watched Yami frown, "Cause of sponsors."
"Ah, Nathaniel will be attending?" Yami's eyes lit up, "Good."
"I am gonna duel." Nymphi whispered to Yami,
"Is that so?" Yami excitedly turned to her, "I would love to see you duel, little one."
"Cassandra taught me a few tricks." Nymphi confessed,
"....I knew it." You muttered, "She's gonna cheat the whole way. Don't let her duel you or you'll end up like Mokuba."
"Mokuba dueled her?" Yami asked,
"I can smell you talking about me over there, (y/n)!" Mokuba hissed from afar, "Don't tell Yami about Nymphi and I's duel!"
"Ya dueled (y/n)'s sista? How did that go?" Joey asked Mokuba,
"Don't...don't ask. I won...okay?" Mokuba mumbled,
"You won if she played according to the rules." You nodded,
"I won." Nymphi frowned,
"Hah, Mokuba lost to a-" Joey paused when he heard the little girl speak, ".....WAIT SHE'S HERE?!" Joey gasped the moment his eyes locked with Nymphi, "HOLY SHIT! (Y/N) YOU ACTUALLY BROUGHT HER?!" Joey screamed as he bolted over to you, Yami, and Nymphi.
"Oh wow!" Duke gave a smile, "I kinda forgot you had a sister."
"She's so cute!" Tea clasped her hands together as she hopped over to Nymphi, "Hello~! I'm Tea Gardner, one of Yugi and (y/n)'s friends!"
"Heya! I'm Joey Wheeler! Yugi and (y/n)'s best friend!"
Overwhelmed by the two new people, Nymphi simply nodded and hid her face in Yami's neck. Silently shaking your head (as you knew how she is), you put your hands on your shoulders,
"Wow...she looks so much like you, (y/n)..." Tea raised an eyebrow on Nymphi who was staring intently at Tea in return. Feeling her anti-social vibe, Yami glanced at Mokuba,
"Will Kaiba also be attending the Grand Prix as he did with the Battle City Tournament?" Yami asked and watched Mokuba shake his head,
"Nope. Not this time."
"WHAT?!" Joey gasped at Mokuba, his eyes wide, "RICH BOY ISN'T GOING TO ATTEND THE GRAND PRIX?!"
"He's really busy with other business-related stuff, so he won't be able to." Mokuba shook his head. Tea stared at Mokuba in shock.
"That's new.." Yami mumbled and shifted his attention to Nymphi, "Have you ever dueled Kaiba before, little one?"
Nymphi shook her head in response,
"Do you want to?" Yami asked and watched her eagerly nod. He smirked at this, "Use Cassandra's tips against him."
"Oh come- Yami don't motivate her to cheat." You crossed your arms with an eyebrow raised. Yami smirked at you in response,
"Nothing wrong with finding alternative approaches to a game~" He teased, "You talk like you've never cheated before."
"Don't...don't tell me you've cheated in some duels!" You gasped and covered your mouth, "Oh the horror! The King of Games? Cheating?"
"I've dueled people who have cheated, but not the other way around." Yami shrugged and rubbed his cheek against Nymphi's, "Nymphi, don't cheat too much or you'll end up like Dartz."
"I don't like Dartz." Nymphi whispered,
"No one does." Yami nodded, "Very good, Nymphi."
"You don't know what it's like opening a chain of amusement parks while hosting a duel, Joey!" Mokuba's hiss caused you, Yami, and Nymphi to shift attention to everyone else. Mokuba was sitting on the table nearby, staring at the floor with his whole body trembling before Joey, who was a little shocked at this response.
"It's....believe me...it was a decision Kaiba wasn't even comfortable with doing in the first place!" Mokuba clenched his fists, "He's....really busy.."
"I can confirm that." You chimed in with narrowed eyes,
"Wow Joey..way to open your mouth." Tea snarked at Joey,
"M-M-M-Me?!" Joey stuttered before starting at Mokuba, "I...Well...I did get....carried away."
"A-Anyway, let's get down to business about this tournament." Mokuba shook his head and straightened himself up,
"Let's go hear what Mokuba has to say," Yami whispered eagerly to Nymphi as he walked over to the table.
"We are selecting the top quality duelists from all over the world into one arena to compete against one another to achieve the title of the World Duelist Champion! I really want Yugi to attend, I mean, we do need our world champ." Mokuba locked eyes with Yami who was listening in. He took a sigh and looked next to him. After a silent nod, he gave Mokuba a smile,
"I'm in."
"You won't be able to flirt with (y/n) on the dueling arena cause of Nathaniel, sorry 'bout that." Mokuba shrugged, "And I also have invites for Rebecca and Jo-"
"DON'T NEED TO TELL ME TWICE MOKUBA!" Joey cheered and shot to his feet from his chair, "AAWWWWHHH YYEEEAAAHHHH!"
Mokuba blankly stared at Joey as though he was expecting this sort of reply. He pulled out three envelopes and gave it to the three duelists who will be attending the Grand Prix. Your eyes narrowed as everyone cheered, despite all this, you still felt...out of place. This feeling wasn't too familiar, you felt this throughout the Battle City Tournament and Noah's world - but that was because you had to deal with Dartz. But Dartz is long gone now, he's experiencing worse than Dante's Inferno - why is that feeling still lurking around?
Before you knew it, you began to grow dizzy. It seems the all-nighter is kicking in. Blinking to get a grip on reality, you rub your temples on your forehead as you quietly walked back inside the chopper - after all, everyone is gonna be there nonetheless. Sitting down, you began to feel the after-effects of pulling an all-nighter...and the weird feeling from last night has yet to flee.
"Ugh..." You silently groaned as you heard footsteps coming from outside into the chopper. It wasn't long before you felt someone sit next to you,
"Are you alright? You look tired." Yami whispered as he placed Nymphi on his lap.
"Hm?" You looked at him, "Oh...yeah....uh...soo...."
"She was in my room when I woke up." Nymphi confessed,
"Why?" Yami asked,
"Well-"
"She wasn't home last night." Nymphi whispered to Yami. Yami's eyebrow quirked at this as he stared at you,
"....Oh? Tell me, Nymphi, where was she last night?"
"I dunno." Nymphi shrugged, "She said something about drinking though!"
Yami sneered at you with his eyebrow raising higher, "...drinking....huh?"
"...Well...I was at Mai's last night...and uh...yeah." You shrugged,
"She didn't let you sleep?"
"Well...to be fair...we talked till like...a couple of hours ago..." You admitted,
"...so you stayed up all night." Yami blankly stared at you and watched you nod,
"...yeaahhhh....and Kaiba was at the door at like four in the morning-"
"How does Kaiba even-"
"I don't even know." You shrugged,
"Well, try to get some rest or you're going to regret it for the rest of the day." Yami advised,
"Nah...I'll be good. I'll probably just sleep earlier than normal or something. Besides, I missed you-"
There was a pause between you and Yami before he smirked,
"Oh really~?" He grinned as he scooted closer to you, "What a coincidence, so have I~."
"Awwhhhh, look (y/n) and the Pharaoh are flirting~" Joey winked, as Duke elbowed the blonde,
"You ruined it!" Duke laughed,
And before you knew it, you ended up talking with everyone....well....kinda. Tea would just stare at you for a bit, but for the first time in a while, she was also active in a discussion.
Before you knew it, the chopper landed in Kaiba land. Just as the chopper landed, Yami gently took off Yugi's jacket from Nymphi,
"I need this back, my little one." He whispered as he put on the jacket. Nymphi frowned but accepted it nonetheless. As everyone was leaving the chopper, you rose to your feet but got a huge whiplash - mostly because of your exhausted body. Just before you sat back down, Yami wrapped his arms around you and helped you up.
"When we head down to Kaiba land, you better rest up. Just meet with us later." Yami advised as Nymphi blankly stared at you and Yami.
"Aha....maybe..." You mumbled as you ended up being walked down the chopper by Yami. Nymphi held your free hand as the three of you exited the chopper.
"Alright, let's take a look around. (Y/n), Nymphi, because you guys are our sponsors, you gotta attend something before you can join us. You're gonna be escorted to your room, sorry."
"Nah, it's all good." You sighed as Yami leaned close and gave you a quick kiss on the cheek,
"Rest up. Don't worry about us." Yami whispered before the puzzle glowed that familiar color. You watched Yugi smirk at you,
"Hah."
You rolled your eyes and lightly pushed Yugi, who was laughing as he walked along to join everyone else. Within seconds, a pair of security guards approached you and Nymphi - who looked disappointed when Yugi showed up, but she silently walked with you...at least until she decided to be adventurous and run ahead to your room. She practically burst into the room about a minute before you walked in. Thanking security for escorting, you were mentally preparing yourself to be forced to play with her rather than resting as Yami advised. You closed your eyes as you walked into your room and began to feel the dizziness that had been up. Now feeling the impact that was stronger than earlier, you let out a groan before you rubbed the bridge of your nose and stared at the hallway.
You sighed, turning to the door and closing the door. Welp, Nymphi does come first...you can rest later-
"Ah yes, isn't it lovely? A family reunited....yes....if only I could've experienced that..." A cold, familiar voice hummed from behind you. Tensing up, you slowly turned and made eye contact with a very familiar boy; he wore his familiar blue and white striped shirt that was covered by a long black coat with blue jeans. He sat comfortably in a chair, his white long hair a mess that suited his personality. Hanging from his blue shirt was a familiar Millenium Ring. You would've considered him to be nice, but the Ring around his neck showed otherwise.
That's not what concerned you the most, it's the fact he had Nymphi with tears, sitting on his lip with one of his hands wrapped around her neck - his fingers lightly tapping her neck as his face held a smirk,
"Hello, Queen (y/n). Missed me~?" Yami Bakura's head cocked to the side, his brown eyes never leaving yours.
"Bakura..." You growled with clenched fists,
"What, no formal greetings? It's been a very long time since we've last seen each other.." Yami Bakura hummed with his grin growing, "I've been thinking about when we may see each other again...the last we saw each other the Pharaoh put me in a coma."
"As he should." You hissed as Bakura blinked with a still smirk,
"Well...that was a little harsh, don't ya think? What do you think, Princess Nymphi?" Yami Bakura's eyes shifted to Nymphi and gave her neck a little squeeze. Hearing her grunt widened your eyes and as you were about to dash to him, he put his free hand up in defense,
"Oho~! Aren't we snappy today~?" Yami Bakura teased, "Do you want me to go tighter? 'Cause I can. Would you like to see?"
"Take your hands off her." You hissed as you stopped in place,
"I will, in all due time," Yami Bakura nodded as he loosened his grip on her, allowing Nymphi to breathe, "But first, I'm going to need you for something...."
"Like what." You seethed,
"...The Great Leviathan still lurks in you, right? Dartz has long been taken care of?" Yami Bakura asked. You cocked an eyebrow at him, what does he care about the Great Leviathan?
"Wh...What does that have to do-"
"Is. Dartz. Gone?" Yami Bakura's smirk dropped and his fingers latched onto Nymphi's throat again.
"YES HE IS." You quickly responded with your eyes widened, "He is...but why is that so imp-"
"Good...it's about damn time that delusional old man is gone." Yami Bakura scoffed with his fingers loosening once more, "That makes things much easier for us."
"What...what do you mean-"
"Say, (y/n)..." Yami Bakura's smirk returned, "...have you ever been to Egypt as of recently?"

Fun Fact; I was VERY hesitant about having Nymphi arrive sooner than S4. This is because if I had her and Atem meet earlier, there would be a HUGE problem holding her back because I consider her to be a WALKING SPOILER. (If you noticed in S5 EP1, she WAS going to say "I want to see daddy again", but Mokuba interrupted. I wanted to make it subtle but obvious at the same time!). This is mostly because unlike adults, children do have a very good memory.
