everyone entered the great hall for dinner. y/n didn't go due to yesterday's events
before dinner, dumbledore made a few announcements,

"hey neville, where's y/n?" i haven't seen her all day
"i checked her dorm earlier but i couldn't find them, i'm going to check the astronomy tower after dinner"
"would you mind if i tag along"
"you can come, can't promise she'd be happy to see us"
after talking with neville i turn to see hermione and ron giggling about me and y/n
"what's so funny you two"
hermione stopped her giggling "it's obvious you fancy y/n"
"w-what, i don't know what you two are talking about"
"mate, i saw you two in the dorms yesterday, you cleaning her knuckles, the hug, them kissing your cheek"
i felt the heat rise to my face. i cant possibly like y/n we just met

i didn't go to dinner, i couldn't walk in there and face everyone, especially after what went down yesterday, no way
i love it up here, the stars always fascinated me. i hear footsteps enter the tower, i was really hoping it would just be me tonight, but i turn to see it was just neville
i smile when i notice he brought me something from dinner, harry soon followed behind neville with a few blankets
i laugh to myself and pull them both into a hug with a small thank you
harry laid a blanket on the floor and they filled me in about the goblet and our new dada professor while i munched on the food neville brought me
"you two better not be thinking about joining the tournament, it's practically a death wish"
"age requirement is 17 and over, i wouldn't want to join anyways, who would watch over my plants if i, you know, die"
i laugh at nevilles words, he sure does live his plants
"and you harry?"
"not really for me, i don't have a death wish y/n" he snorted
we all share a laugh, neville ended up falling asleep while harry and i talked about the stars
"they're beautiful aren't they" i turn to see harry with his nose in the air, mesmerized by the small dots in the sky
i catch myself staring for a second, i snap back into reality when i feel neville "accidentally" bump into me
i feel myself staring again. harry james potter, the chosen one, the boy who lived. the way his sharp jawline looks so perfect, the way his glasses sit perfectly on his nose, the way his beautiful emerald eyes sparkle in the moonlight, merlin he's so pretty

i never realized how beautiful the stars were until now. the small dots that have always been out during the night, i never took the time to notice until now
i feel eyes on me, i turn to see y/n's beautiful e/c eyes staring
"can i help you with something y/n"
she blushes and comes up with the excuse i have something on my face, which i knew was a lie, i had hermione make sure i looked presentable before coming up here, but i left her hand touch my face
their soft skin against mine, i wanted more
we soon broke apart and awkwardly smiled at each other
neville finally broke the awkwardness
"it's getting late we should head to our dorms"
"merlin it's 2 am"
y/n helped neville and i clean up everything
i walked her back to her dorm while neville went back to our dorm
we get to the entrance of the slytherin common room
"i had fun today harry" y/n smiled at me before turning away
"me too" i smiled back
they said the common room password and was immediately greeted by none other than draco malfoy
"well if it isn't potter and his bitch of a girlfriend"
"i'm not his malfoy, and i suggest you keep your mouth shut unless you want another busted lip and broken nose"
i've never seen malfoy so scared, i smile to myself but before i walked away i felt someone grab my face and felt a kiss on my cheek, y/n's kiss
"we should do that again, star gazing i mean" i laugh"
"yea, we definitely should" they stated before entering the common room
