Zofia PoV
"It is official...I am the new GROM Commander," I said after taking a deep breath
"Do you want a balloon as a reward?" Kal said with his arms crossed and Raven hit him on the back of his head
"What Kal is trying to say is that we are very happy for you," Raven said, Serious as always but she sounded sincere
"It took us almost like what? A Month?" Leon said and I nodded. I looked around and checked if there weren't any Rainbow operator around
"(y,n) is really a good person, I called him from time to time to check on my daughter and she is doing fine, I am very sorry for blaming him for killing my father and even though he just could have left this country to rot for what it did to all of you...he helped," I said
Kal and Raven and a few of the wolves were nodding, I am the new commander here and I can tell some don't like it but I will do this right. I won't let anything like this happened again. We remained silent for a few seconds then the door of my office opened revealing my husband.
"Zofia, Where is my daughter!" He shouted, I could tell he was worried by the sound of his voice even though he was shouting. He was coming to me but Raven and Kal stood up between me and my husband, it felt nice to be protected by two of the strongest wolves, but this is my husband so I must face him.
"Honey...I have something to tell you,"

Ela PoV
It has been a month since my injures started to be treated by Ryleigh, Mom was being treated too but she is with another doctor. I feel so much better now, I still need healing but I can move without feeling pain. My niece came to visit me the other day and I almost cry because I was able to wrap her in my arms without feeling pain.
Today Ryleigh is doing my weekly check-up but then the wolves' captain appeared, I could feel his eyes judging me through that mask and it was getting on my nerves
"Ok, whatever is you are doing. Drop it! All of you have seen me at my worse. What else do you want from me!" I confronted the captain. He didn't say anything all he did was stay there in silence
"Sent her to my office once you are done with her," The Captain said, I looked at Ryleigh and she was nodding as she watches the captain leaving the room
"Well, you heard the man, I have to send you to his office but first of all...we must do something about your hair," Ryleigh said as she touched my long black hair
"What do you mean?" I asked confused
"As you can already tell our captain is pretty skeptical about you being here so I think we should get you on his good side," Ryleigh said
I agree to do what she wanted me to do, I follow her through the base until we reached some kind of beauty parlor, when we entered I saw a woman sitting on a chair, Ryleigh caught her attention and when she looked at me she gasped.
"She has a meeting with the captain and she cannot go like this you know, can you do something?" Ryleigh said as she was showing her how long my hair was. I didn't say anything...at this point, I'll just do whatever the hell they want.
Time Skip
(Y,N) PoV
I was waiting at my office for three people, Ela, Yumiko, and my ghost leader, Vy. I called for her because Ela is going to spend an entire week with the ghosts out there in the wilds. The Ghosts are a division of the wolves that specializes in preserving plants and animal's life. They are in charge of keeping the animals of this island from being blast away by one of our tanks. Back when the wolves were starting we came across a biological attack different from the chimera virus that Rainbow handle years ago.
This terrorist attack happened in a small village. Luckily we arrived on time and dealt with it. Ryleigh is a genius...without her, that poison would have become a problem worldwide. Even though we got rid of the deadly cloud the people that were infected were still dying and we created a way to control the poison, it won't heal them but they won't die.
Someone started knocking at my door and when it opened it revealed the ghost leader.
(This is Vy)
"You called?" She asked as she closes the door behind her
"I was about to ask how you were but giving the fact that you are still alive..." I said and she nodded
"I have a new two new blood with me, Elzbieta and Yumiko," I said as I handle her two files, Vy got closer and looked at them
"Two more girls, nice," She said but I could tell she didn't care about them
"I want you to take them for the week, show them how to survive," I said and Vy interrupted me by chuckling
"They are from anti-terrorist units, they should be able to survive on their own so why do you want me to waste my time?" Vy crosses her arms.
"Because they don't know how to survive the way you do," I said then I just stared at her and after a few minutes she looked away and sighed in defeat
"Ok, fine! where are they?" She said
"They should be here in a few minutes. Something else...Yumiko knows who I am but Ela doesn't. Don't mention my name around here," I said and she shrugged.
Suddenly the door opened and my mask was far from me but Vy kicked the door and closed it then looked at me in disappointment, I rolled my eyes and went to grab my mask and when I put it on Vy let them in. I saw Yumiko entering and then I saw Ela, my eyes widened in surprise when I saw her short blonde hair.

"Sorry captain, it was my fault that they arrived late," Ryleigh said
"It's ok Ryleigh, you can leave now," I said and she nodded
"You guys are the new addition to the wolves, my people are already trained to do what they are told but you guys are not familiar. You will be trained by every leader of each division, starting with the ghosts," I said then Vy stood in the middle of them with a smile on her face.
"The guys and I have been having problems hunting down a mountain lion," Vy said then she started to examine their bodies
"These will do captain, I'll try my best to return them in one piece and if I can't we can always replace their missing body part with a metal arm like yours," Vy chuckled
"I think you should get to know them first," I said and Vy scoffed
"No thank you, I don't want to get attached to them," She said. I noticed Ela and Yumiko looking at me worried
"Before you go, Ela is new here so why don't you show her around?" I told Vy
"You want me, a person who comes in here once a week, to show them around?" Vy complained my nodding showed her how serious I was about the matter. Vy groaned and opened the door and lead the girls outside my office.
Ela PoV
After leaving the captain's office we are now under the wing of that crazy woman, Vy. I don't feel comfortable around her but I just hope he is doing the right thing. Vy started taking us through the base and apparently this one more like an exploring rather than a tour because she doesn't know where she is. While we were following the clueless Vy around me and Yumiko were catching up.
"Are you really sure you are fit for duty again? I mean I can still see a few bruises," Yumiko said and I chuckled
"I am fine, Ryleigh said that as long as I'm being careful my bruises won't be a problem," I said
"That's a relief but if you are not sure you can always tell the captain that you need more time to recover," Yumiko said and I laughed
"I doubt the captain would let me go that easily," I said
"Ok girls, why you were laughing we finally made it to Med Bay," Vy said
"Oh, I've been here before," I said trying to be funny but all I did was embarrass myself
The Med Bay is the place where the wolves treat their wounded operators and where Ryleigh, the one in charge, tried to help humanity with science. We continued exploring the base and during that time we got to see the R&D Workshop where James works, I remember him...he is like Mira but far more crazy and feels no pain Yumiko worked with him on her new gadget and it was a pain in the neck, she was more worried about the fact that he could get hurt in there and won't feel a thing and since he won't feel it he won't go to the med bay, Luckily he is not alone in here.
When we were done visiting James we continued walking and discovered the cafeteria, the one in charge of this place is a woman named, Anna. Vy says Anna traveled the world learning recipes from each country, she joined the wolves as the chief of the kitchen after the captain rescued her. The next thing we found was the Gym, there no one in charge there, everyone can use it when they feel like it. The shooting range was pretty much the same but this one was not in charge of a single person. Every wolf has to spend a day managing the shooting range, checking who enters, what weapon are they using, and checking the current users don't go over their time.
Our next side of exploration was the hangar. I was expecting something small but my jaw dropped when I saw how big it was, bigger than Rainbow hangar. The one in charge of this place is an old man named Sam. He and his mechanics make sure the ships are in good condition and if the ships were damaged they are also in charge of repair them.
"Well that was pretty much it," Vy said as we were heading to the main gates
"Ela?" I heard someone calling my name and when I turned around I saw Grace
"Dokkaebi?" I asked confused
"I almost didn't recognize you, last time I saw you your hair was green," Grace said as she approached me
"Anyways...what are you guys up to?" Grace asked
"Vy was showing us around the base before going out with her," Yumiko answered
"You are going out with Vy? I wish you the best of lucks," Grace said as she looked at Vy but the crazy woman was ignoring her and that made Grace sigh
"Well after you guys are done I can show you our place of work, it's not as exciting as the other places but it is for me," Grace said
"You guys can go if you want. I'll wait for you outside," Vy said
We went with Grace to the computer room, Leon Ramirez is the one in charge of this place. Here they investigate people and everything they need to make the missions possible but of course at the end is the captain's decision if the mission is a go or not.
"Tell me more about the captain?" I asked and the girls looked at me, even Yun peeked from her workplace
"We are not allowed to reveal anything about the captain to newcomers," Yun said then I looked at Yumiko
"That's true, even I don't know his name or how he looks like under that mask," Yumiko confirmed. Suddenly the door opened revealing the captain.
"Yun I need you to-" He stopped talking as soon as he saw me
"I believe I told you both to go with Vy," He said
"I brought them here Cap. I wanted to show them around, I was just about to return them," Grace said. The Captain didn't say a word, he approached me and grabbed my face. I groaned mostly because one of his hands were cold, he started to examine my face, and well this was getting awkward then he let me go.
"Are you sure you are fit for duty?" Surprisingly he asked me. I looked around and the girls were hiding behind the computers
"Yes Sir! I promise to try my best not to be dead weight," I said and he nodded
"You should get going, Vy doesn't like when people keep her waiting," He said and I nodded
"I'll talk to you later," The Captain said looking at Yun and she nodded then the captain left
"I was not expecting that..." I said
"I told you, the captain may seem like a bad person but he is actually really nice, he just needs to get used to you," Yumiko said
I guess Yumiko is right. I still think he doesn't like the idea of me being here but he still took me in, I have to make some changes in my life and I hope I can do it here. All these years I've been telling Zo that I'm a grown-up woman that I don't need her but all that had happened to me until today made me realize that I was wrong. It's time to grow up for real this time...for (y,n) and for myself.
