Author's Pov
Abhiti was completely conflicted and tensed till the time she reached the arena......Though she had been given a choice, but she knew that how people valued their promises and kept them without any thoughts unlike the people in modern era who don't exactly believe in such promises......She was in a big dilemma. She was unable to understand why did her mother decide her future husband when she was just 6. She for the first time felt helpless and confused as she couldn't tell anyone about this and she terribly missed Dev and Abhi (her brother) as both of them always used to advise her.....Realisation struck her when she thought of Dev. How in the world was she going to marry Rajkumar Sahdev when she had already lost her heart to her Dev and she couldn't really betray Dev like that and also can't forget the value of her mother's promise. She desperately needed someone with whom she can talk.... She thought to figure things out later
When she reached the arena she saw that a lot of people had arrived and were waiting for the event to begin..... She saw Karna and Arjun getting ready for their battle. Though it was a friendly battle, she was hoping this does not ignite any seeds of enmity among the two archers. She had already promised herself that she would unite Karna with his brothers and family.
Abhiti's pov,
The duel had started between Bhrata Karna and Rajkumar Arjun but I couldn't concentrate there..... My mind was constantly going to the conversation I had with Maasimaa in the morning.... Though she said that it is my decision but promises are the thing that people value the most in this time then how in the world is it my decision.... I need to talk to Bhrata Krishna didn't he promise me that I won't be separated from Dev then what is this new problem now... I immediately need to talk to him now only he can help me.
Author's pov,
She immediately left the arena to talk with Krishna but what she didn't know was that someone was saw her leaving and followed her... She was going towards her chambers but she felt someone following so she stopped and turned around and was shocked seeing the person..... She never imagined seeing him over here but she didn't what was his identity....It was Sahdev obviously
Sahdev (whispering): Angel (Abhiti's name since childhood by her family in 2020)
Abhiti (whispering): Dev
( Abhiti's outfit except the quiver of arrows.....She is a warrior princess so expect her to be a lot more different than other princesses of that era)
Both heard each other and felt like their soul came back to each other
Sahdev: Angel how... umm when...what is happening?? (he asks her speechlessly)
Abhiti: Shhh... Not here we will talk but in my room... We don't need others hearing us
Sahdev just nodded and both went towards the room
In the room,
After entering the room both are just seeing each other and trying to believe the fact that their love is standing in front of them..... Immediately they hugged each other passionately as if soothing their souls with the presence of their beloved.... They forgot their surroundings and everything at the moment.... Nothing mattered to them at the moment.... After some time they broke the hug and sat on the couch holding hands
Sahdev: Alright now tell me what's going on? I am unable to understand anything
Abhiti: Well even I don't know compeletely but Bhrata Krishna told me that my soul was living over here as Rajkumari of Avanti and also as Abhiti Rathod in the 21st century
She told him the entire story and he was calmly listening to it and understanding it... He was shocked but he didn't express anything
Abhiti: Alright now enough about me. How did you reach here and also who are you??
Sahdev: Well I am youngest Pandav Sahdev and even I lived double life like you
Abhiti: Even you too....... Already my memories are very messed up.... I can't even properly remember Mumma, Papa, Mom and Dad and even Abhi Bhai..... I have very less memories of them..... All I have is the memories of this era..... But the saddest part is they don't remember me at all.... What about Mom and Dad??? Do they remember you??
Sahdev: No Vasudev told me that they won't remember me........He removed my memories from Mom and Dad's mind because he didn't want my parents to think I died and live in unhappily.... They have adopted a boy right who would be 18 now and his name is Devansh..... I also had a lot of questions in my mind since a few days
Abhiti: I am unable to understand a few things. Why make us live double lives. I understand about me since it might be about me saving Avanti but what about you and us......... I mean our connection....I am unable to understand anything.... Its very confusing Dev..... I'm happy that you are here but I am not sure what will happen to us
Sahdev: Angel just calm down...... I know you are feeling overwhelmed right now and have lots of questions but just relax..... Also don't worry we both will face everything together.....Do you know have to marry one of us Pandavas as per a promise between our mothers?
Abhiti: Wait you don't whom I have to marry??
Sahdev: No before I could know Pitamah called us so I couldn't know.
Abhiti: Arre duffer it is you only
Sahdev: What????
Abhiti: Yes both our mother's promised our marriage only....... I am happy about it but why us? Why live in 2020 and even at that time we were in a relationship and now even in Dwaparyug our marriage is fixed......Why so many coincidences that too with us only??
Krishna appears suddenly
Krishna: Shhh....enough my dear sister... I know you might have many questions in your mind but right now I can't answer all....You will find them eventually and you have actually started finding them
Abhiti: Umm no Bhrata I haven't found anything yet
Krishna: Think again properly both of you.
Abhiti and Sahdev think properly and suddenly Sahdev realises something.
Sahdev: That dream about someone named Shorvi and Ariv... Is this what you are talking about?
Krishna: Yes Sahdev you are right. This is your destiny and this is meant to happen only.
Abhiti: But why now? Why not earlier?
Krishna: Had this happened earlier would Bhrata Karna be with on the side of righteousness?? Would you guide him?? You wouldn't have gone to gurukul and wouldn't even have learnt weapons..... Would the other lives that you have saved be possible.(Looking at Abhiti meaningfully)
Abhiti(Understanding): You are right Bhrata.... But should I tell it to them now?
Krishna: Only Sahdev no one else should know it now.....Also remember Abhiti how much you try somethings are inevitable and you can't change them but what you can do is be ready for them
Abhiti: Alright Bhrata
Krishna: Both of you remember this very well this is your Mahabharat and you both will be the guiding force........But you won't be alone...Two more people will join you but they will just help you.... This time I will be just a spectator and both of you will lead everyone to the path of righteousness (Another twist)
Abhiti: Us?? What are you speaking?? How will we do it?? We can't
Krishna: Have faith in me...... Don't worry you both will do it very easily
Abhiti: But....
Sahdev (cuts her): Alright if u say so... We will try our best but we can't do it without your blessings.
Both take his blessings and he blesses them
Krishna: Vijayi Bhava..... Now I will go.... Now we will meet soon for your wedding
Abhiti: Wait Bhrata who are the 2 people helping us?
Krishna: You will meet them soon Abhiti
He disappears after that
Sahdev: Okay now tell me what do you have to tell me?? Whose life have you saved??? What's going on??
Abhiti: Alright time for some more revelations I guess

Heyyy guys...... First of all I am so sorry for taking such a big break but I was in desperate need of it..... After I recovered emotionally my college work, ppts and internal tests took over..... Then I had my semesters which ended before a few days..... Now onwards you will be receiving updates every few days
