Life can be so hard sometimes
It's one of the reasons they're so many crimes
The world is so corrupt and uncaring
Poverty in the world is getting overbearing
Lost are the time when people were loving and caring
Life is just a bloody bitch
We try our best to fix it, thinking it's just a glitch
Doing bad things just to get rich
But life just can't be mended with a simple stitch
Even if we possessed the power of a witch
The world is broken and battered
We find ourselves feel meaningless and shattered
Dreams are being discarded because we no longer believe
For all our lost hope and dreams we just sit and grieve
We forget about all the good things in life that we've achieved
The world is lost to us all
Some are willing to be powerless and just fall
Preferring to forever stay small
Feeling caged up behind a brick wall
Unwilling to fight for life, preferring to do nothing at all
The world is becoming a battlefield
We're out here fighting without a shield
Our cries we have to conceal
Will we ever be able to say how we truly feel?
Will this world we live in ever become real?
