24 hours have passed since Alex Auditore has defeated The Fiend in a Firefly Funhouse Match, freeing his second family from Wyatt's influence, Bliss Kingdom has found themselves in another war in the form of All Elite Wrestling's stable, the Inner Circle. The Kingdom have no idea what Chris Jericho was doing or what his motives are to bring his group to the WWE, but hopefully they'll get some answers tonight on Raw.
After SummerSlam, Alex's resistance group the Brotherhood had slowly dissolved as most of the members went back to NXT to focus on their careers, except for three; NXT Women's Champion Io Shirai, Raw Women's Champion Tegan Nox and Keith Lee all pledged to be members of Bliss Kingdom in which co-founders Randy Orton and Alexa Bliss all agreed to.
One member who was mostly surprised of Jericho's reemergence was none other than Blood Shepherd. He had a long history with Le Champeon.
Shepherd: I was once under the tutelage of Chris when I started pro wrestling
Travis: you were trained by the best
Josh: the Best in the World at what he does
Shepherd: now he has brought in a villainous stable
Randy: knowing Chris, I don't think those men with him aren't his only backup
Alex: you sensed something, mentor?
Randy: yes, I sensed he'll bring in more help, and they will also be from that company where Chris is wrestling
Alex: I looked over the company where Jericho and his group is from
Alexa: what is it, babe?
Alex: it's called All Elite Wrestling or AEW
Randy: the company where Cody is?
Alex: Cody Rhodes? Yes
Seth: is the Inner Circle the only group in that company?
Alex: I don't know, I didn't see any other groups
Finn: we'll have to be ready
Bayley: we can't jump into conclusions on that, what we need to know is why and what Jericho is doing back
Keith: hopefully we'll get some answers from him and his group tonight
(An hour later)
Monday Night Raw has come live with WWE showing highlights from the Biggest Party of the Summer, such as Travis and Seth's strap match, Tegan and Bayley's street fight, the final chapter between Blood Shepherd and Drew McIntyre, and the Firefly Funhouse Match.
Then Judas played and out came the AEW World Champion Chris Jericho alongside his group, the Inner Circle. The members of the group consisted of Sammy Guevara, Jake Hager formerly known as Jack Swagger, former LAX members Santana and Ortiz, Maxwell Jacob Friedman or MJF and his big insurance associate Wardlow.
As Jericho and the Inner Circle walked down the ramp, the fans sang along his entrance theme, which was Judas, a song from Jericho's band, Fozzy.
MJF looked around in disgust as the group got in the ring. Jericho took the time to let the crowd sing until his theme faded in silence. Then Le Champeon got on the mic.
Chris: well look all around us gentlemen, it's a bunch of stupid idiots
The crowd cheered and booed.
Chris: in case you stupid idiots don't know who we are, allow us to introduce ourselves, we are the Inner Circle!
The other members taunted the crowd as Jericho introduced the members one by one. Although the one member that got the biggest boos in the crowd was MJF, who claims that he is better than everyone.
Chris: now, all of you stupid idiots want to demand why did me and the Inner Circle came and invaded WWE
The crowd chanted yes.
Chris: now, first things first, you don't demand from Le Champeon, I don't need to tell you why, but then, I saw what Bliss Kingdom and their capabilities of what they are as group
MJF and Sammy smirked as Chris continued to talk.
Chris: Bliss Kingdom calls themselves a family with an unbreakable bond, like they'll be there for each other no matter what. Well that is exactly what the Inner Circle is!
The crowd booed.
Chris: sure Bliss Kingdom has Randy Orton, Finn Balor, Alexa Bliss and the overrated Four Horsewomen, but what the Inner Circle has is a group of the most athletic and dangerous wrestlers in AEW. Jake Hager, one of the most dangerous MMA fighters ever
The crowd chanted, "We the People," a reference to Hager's old character of Jack Swagger. However, Jericho took jabs.
Chris: "we the people" sucks, and it's dead and buried. It was a stupid idea from bad creative, and all of that is gone
The crowd cheered loud.
Chris: we have here is one of the best tag teams in this company, formerly members of LAX now part of the Inner Circle, it's Santana and Ortiz.
The former LAX members taunted.
Chris: here is one of the young, talented, handsome and rising wrestlers AEW has to offer; this is Sammy Guevara
The Spanish God smirked and taunted.
Chris: and another one of the young prodigies in this sport; he is better than you and you know it, this is MJF and his giant insurance policy, Wardlow!
MJF taunted the crowd while he smirked.
As Chris was about to continue, the Inner Circle were interrupted by Bliss Kingdom. Orton, Bliss and Balor led the group to the stage while they stared down at the AEW stable. Chris was surprised to see his old protégé Blood Shepherd in the group.
Randy: now Chris, you may wonder why Bliss Kingdom came out here is because we're looking for answers, what the hell are you doing here?
Chris: Randy, it's good to see you again, and I can't help but to recognize some familiar people in the group. Hey Balor, you owe me $750 for that scarf you stole!
Chris was referring to the time Finn stole Chris' scarf and paraded around with it at a live event a few years back.
Chris: and look, it's my former best friend Kevin Owens. Remember the Festival of Friendship where you betrayed me?!
Kevin crossed his arms and shook his head.
Chris: well I don't need you, I have the Inner Circle! And oh, who is that? Is that my old student, Blood Shepherd?
Shepherd looked at his old mentor in the eye.
Chris: you disappointed me when you lost last night because you're in the group of stupid idiots
While Chris ranted on, MJF was smirking and waving at Alexa, and Alex didn't take it too kindly to the young wrestler.
Chris: well Randy, just what the hell do you want before you came to interrupt?
Randy: we want to know why you invaded
Chris: well the Inner Circle and I were watching you guys doing your thing of dominating, and I have to say, all of you held all of WWE's championships, which is really impressive, but now you are just shells of your former selves
Randy: well Jericho, this is what happens when invaders come to our house
Orton dropped the mic and led the men down the ramp, as Randy, Alex and Finn got on the ramp, the Inner Circle got out of the ring and retreated to the crowd.
Chris: there will be no fighting tonight, but we do have some challenges for you next week. Randy, for old time sake, it will be you and me one on one in that ring, and to warn you in advance, the Inner Circle will not be the only group you and Bliss Kingdom will have to deal with because I have gathered allies from AEW and you'll meet them next week!
With that, Randy Orton will go one on one with the AEW Champion Chris Jericho next week, and along with that, Bliss Kingdom will meet the Inner Circle's allies.
