What a completely pointless mission that has been. Maybe it wasn't the best idea when it came to accompanying Natsu on this mission, I mean, we nearly got melted by acid, stomped on by an ugly ass titan rat and I had a fistfight with a demon. But hey, Lucy's happy, she got another key for her collection while we got a generous amount of nothing. Sigh, I'm really spoiling her, or perhaps not, well its probably for the better considering I'm going to have a date with her when we finally get back home. Oh yes did I mention nearly everyone was in a complete state of mental breakdown? Sheesh, Lucy always looks like she's gonna have one but this just might be a new record when Erza mentioned the oncoming punishment. At least we had time for the moment considering Master Makarov had to urgently leave the building. So I said screw and decided to take Lucy out on a date regardless, but I need a different set of clothes for this special occasion, and I know just the shop to help me.
[3rd POV]
Y/N had asked Lucy on a date and she obviously agreed, they were meeting later in the day at 14:20, it was 12:44 right now so Y/N had some time to spend shopping for a new set of clothes for his date, he wasn't just going to wear his everyday suit, and he also had a hunch Lucy would also change her attire just like him. He found a clothing store relatively quickly and also found an outfit just as fast, it wasn't all that different to his usual clothes but it looked more easygoing.
There was a reason as to why he picked a more everyday outfit than his usual suit, and that reason was, of course, Lucy, but there was more to it than just looking fancy or different for a special event. Y/N had noticed how uncomfortable Lucy looked when it came to high-class or even noble matters as if she was trying to push them away, and him wearing a suit and taking her to a super fancy restaurant probably wouldn't do her too much good. He knew she loved fancy things but also knew that there was a limit to how much she could handle, and knowing her she would prefer something with a less strict but nonetheless romantic atmosphere. That's why he made this plan:
1. Get something to eat at a nice but not crowded café.
2. Go shopping, both of them need things for their homes and Lucy loves shopping.
3. Go either home or to a love hotel.
4. Profit.
It was a rather simple 3-step plan he thought but despite its simplicity, it most likely will work like a charm. All he has to do is to make sure Lucy has a good time, then... she's have the time of her life, although that comes later~ Arriving at their meeting spot 20 minutes early he patiently waited for his blonde girlfriend to arrive, and she did 15 minutes later dressed in a loose yet beautiful white sundress with a blue purse as an accessory.
Lucy: "Hey Y/N!"
Y/N: "Yo. Well, you look stunning today."
Lucy: "-Giggle- You look hot too."
Their conversation continued as Y/N led his blonde girlfriend to their first destination. They of course walked hand-in-hand, how indecent. Handholding in public?! Lewd, the absolute epitome of being horny!
[Y/N POV]
I'll say this a billion more times in the future but goddamn, Lucy is fucking gorgeous. That sundress of hers makes her hair really stand out, among other things, but she makes me want to cuddle and kiss her until the end of time. Arriving at our first destination which was a fairly normal café with slightly below-average customer rate, but I heard their food was still top quality, it was just that they had a cheaper competitor down the street but that place was jampacked with people.
Waiter: "Table for two?"
Y/N: "Yes please."
We found an empty table with ease and OH MY GOD THEY HAVE CURRY! What's the name of this place again? Huh, Café Leblanc? I'm getting a sense of Deja vú for some reason... Ah whatever, no time to think about things like that now! Lucy and myself of course ordered their recommendation, a curry, so let's see how it turns out. I wonder how long-
Waiter: "Here is your order. Please, enjoy."
Lucy: "Thank you."
Y/N: "That was quick."
Talk about fast service, do they just have those on standby or something? I wonder if the taste... Yep, it's godly. Lucy seemed to agree with me judging by the absolutely adorable look of adoration the moment she put the spoon in her mouth, this might just become a place of frequent visits for us. I didn't want our date to turn into one of those "backstory revealed" types of dates, I want Lucy to have a purely good time.
Lucy: "Hey, Y/N?"
Y/N: "Hm?"
Lucy: "...What kind of a woman is your type?"
Y/N: "You."
Lucy: "H-Hey! You can't just say that out of nowhere! ...But... yeah..."
Absolutely fucking adorable. She's having trouble formulating a sentence, how cute can you get dammit?!
Lucy: "But what if we weren't dating? What kind of a woman would you be looking for?"
Y/N: "Hm, a tough question. If we are going in terms of personality I suppose a housewife material with a bit of a hidden fighter underneath."
Lucy: "A-And if by looks?"
Y/N: "You."
Lucy: "Y-Y/N! You can't just answer like that every time!"
Y/N: "Sigh, okay then. I guess... Mira, or Erza, or Cana."
Lucy: "You sure have a lot of options, eeeeeeeh?
Y/N: "Don't get angry."
Lucy: "I'm not angry, I asked anyway..."
Y/N: "You are angry."
Lucy: "No."
Y/N: "Jealous then."
Lucy: "...A tiny bit."
Y/N: "Well, I'll have you know that I am very happy with my choice."
Lucy: "...Thank you."
Even if it may not be the final one... This is a harem story, after all, I wonder how you will make Lucy share me Author-kun~ Silence horny. Okay okay, sorry, jeez. Anyway, I and Lucy finished our meal and had a nice cup of coffee afterwards, can this place just make anything taste godly?! Ahem, next on our agenda, SHOPPING, the favourite activity of many women, Lucy included! The moment we made it to the shopping centre she was already window shopping with a burning passion, I'm almost jealous. The first shop we visited was a clothing store, surprisingly.
[3rd POV]
The clothing store had a few sets of clothes Lucy was interested in, and to her surprise, Y/N seemed to pick a few outfits himself. Because of the low quantity of customers in the shop, Lucy had the brilliant idea of giving Y/N a show and made him sit on a bench outside the changing room while she changed into one of the outfits she picked. A minute passed and Y/N now remembered why he wasn't that fond of shopping, it took forever with other people, although the moment Lucy came out of the changing booth all previous thoughts became irrelevant.
Lucy: "S-So what do you think?"
Y/N: "12/10 lemme smash."
Lucy: "C-Calm down, jeez. ...There will be time for that later."
Y/N: "Tease~"
Lucy: "Learned from the best~"
Y/N: "...I can't not love you."
With a giggle, Lucy disappeared into the changing booth again and came out a minute later in a much less provocative outfit but that didn't mean it wasn't provocative. Sinfully tight shorts and a tank top, yup, she was 9000% teasing Y/N but boy would he be lying if he said he didn't enjoy it. The outfits she picked grew more and more wholesome with the final one being a loose pair of shorts and a hoodie that had "Mine =>" on it with an arrow pointing to Lucy's left side.
Y/N: "I approve of everything."
Lucy: "Hehe, now it's your turn."
Y/N: "Mhm. Be back in a sec."
Lucy took Y/N's place on the bench, and to her surprise, Y/N literally meant a second. The moment he disappeared into the changing room he emerged literally a second later dressed in a black trench coat, black jeans, white shirt and running shoes.
Y/N: "I tried going for a different style than my usual coat."
Lucy: "Definitely suave, and it still has that Y/N feel to it."
Y/N: "Hehe, glad to hear that."
And with that Y/N disappeared into the changing room and once again came out a few seconds later came out with a different outfit, this one even came with a pair of sunglasses Y/N of course put on, he even styled his hair differently to fit the oufit a bit more.
Lucy: "Oooh, I'm starting to think you can make anything work."
Y/N: "Why thank you! But I doubt I can make a thong work... actually..."
Lucy: "Let's not that test that..."
Y/N: "Yeeeaaaah..."
Y/N disappeared into the changing room again and this time Lucy was very surprised by the outfit he came out in. This outfit wasn't very Y/N-like, in fact, it seemed completely bizarre. A shirt that used holes as a pattern, a fur hat with horns and a crotch guard. Despite its strange look Lucy once again couldn't help but admit that Y/N looked fucking good in it.
Lucy: "That's a bit of a bizarre choice."
Y/N: "I know right, I thought the same thing when I first saw it and I just had to try it."
Lucy: "I stand by my previous opinion, you look especially hot."
Y/N: "Why thank you, I'm sure you are quite fond of these tiny titty windows."
Y/N left Lucy on the bench a blushing mess before changing into his last outfit which was similar to Lucy's, except it had a pair of sweatpants and a big hoodie that said "<= Mine" with an arrow pointing to Y/N's right.
Y/N: "Matching outfits?"
Lucy: "Heck yeah!"
Y/N: "Hehe, okay then."
The couple decided to buy all of the clothes they tried on, which did come at a pretty hefty price for Y/N since he was paying but he didn't mind as much, he'll just have to do another job and with how efficient he can be it won't take long at all. They walked out of the store while holding hands, their fingers interlocked as Y/N carried their bags in one hand.
Y/N: "So..."
Lucy blushed and walked a bit closer to Y/N while putting her head on his shoulder.
Lucy: "Your place?"
Y/N: "Yep."
[Y/N POV]
Fuck yeah! This is what I call a mission accomplished! Now... onto the best part~ ...But too bad that will have to wait because this is where the chapter ends, toodles!
