All the kids were gathered in the music room waiting for you and Artemis to come. They were all there except Ray,Norman, and Emma, they were busy trying to talk Artemis out of getting shipped. Their plan wasn't completely started and was in pieces, but they would still try it if it meant she got to live. You were in the library. You browsed through the collection of books until you stopped at a thick black novel. You pulled it out to examen the cover to notice the gold crest of a bird on it. You remember Ray recommended you read that book when you were younger, but you always hated reading. You had no clue how the ravenette did it all day. Instead of putting it down though, you picked it up and set it down on the table waiting for your sister to call you.
"(Y/n)!" The shout came from further down the hall. "Come on let's play a song" you hummed in reply even though you knew she wouldn't hear it. You set the novel down and make your way to the music room.
"Yay! They are going to play a song!" The kids shouted as you entered the room.
"What took you guys so long? The kids were being to think you weren't going to do it" Momma asked you as she patted your heads.
"Just saying some last goodbyes... you said we were leaving right after the concert anyways" Artemis said while trying to hold a smile, but it wasn't working. You could see the pain and sadness that was on her face, she tried to hide it but it was coming all out. She didn't say a single word, all she did was hug you and whisper an apology in your ear. You didn't know what she was apologizing for, but you accepted it anyways and returned the hug.
"Come on, Sing! Sing! Sing!" The kids chanted as they were growing impatient and antsy. You went up to the piano and sat down ready to play as Artemis sat beside you. She wasn't facing the piano or the kids, she was staring directly out the window looking at the stars in the sky.

As your fingers left the ivory keys, you were left in tears. That would be the last time for a while you would sing with your sister. As you turn to face her to say one last good bye you noticed she was in the corner of the room connecting a wire.
"What are you doing?"
"You really thought, I would leave with just one song?" She asked as she picked up the guitar. "I know you know the lyrics to what I'm about to play. It might not fully apply here, but I'm not leaving until someone knows how someone else feels...you get what I'm saying"
"I..Artemis no"
"Artemis Yes! Even if he doesn't feel the same way, he might not take it as a confession it comes from an anime." She said while holding her MP3 player. "You gave him yours, so I'm sure he has heard the song before" she said trying to convince you. Even if it didn't convince you she was going to start playing anyways.

As you were singing your gaze was fixed on a certain ravenette that was standing next to the door. This wasn't even an outright confession, but it still made your heart beat like crazy. You could feel your cheeks burn every time he caught you stare at him. He didn't seemed to be put off by it though, whenever the two of you locked eyes he just gave you a warm smile.

Even though most people don't know what was truly going on, Artemis was proud of you. She knew you were only doing it because it was her last day here, but she still smiled as you danced around her. Whenever you got really into a song, you would do that and sometimes even invite the kids into it.

"That was amazing!" Phil shouted as he ran up to hug Artemis. His demeanor quickly changed as her approached her though. "I..is this really it. This is g..goodbye?" He said in a small voice.
"Yeah...sorry buddy." She said as she knelt down in front of him taking off her left glove. "Here take this. It might be too big for you now, but in two years you should be able to fit in it!"
"Artemis!" The 4 year old cried while gripping on to her glove.
"Hey. Don't cry for me Phil. Do one last thing and see me off with a smile alright." She spoke softly to him.
"Artemis, you should go and get changed now." Momma spoke interrupting the moment. "It is getting very late" she said as she left the room.
"(Y/n)...Take care of everyone for me." She said as she went to her room.
"I....I will" you whispered under your breath.
-Artemis POV-
"Heyy Ray~" I called out his name before he entered the library.
"What, do you want." It seemed like he couldn't properly face me. He seemed gloomier than normal, but it wasn't a strong sadness.
"Here. Take this" I said while giving him my mp3."(y/n) isn't going to follow you if she doesn't see it for herself. S...so give it to her when I leave."
"So you didn't accept death! Why are you doing this to us then! Why are you doing this to (y/n). She is going to be devastated, she is going to break and not talk to anyone!" He yelled at me while gripping my collar." Didn't you think about how she'll feel about this!"
I kind of lost it right there and slapped him across the face. "Listen here Ray, don't you think I've thought about this. I've had days to think about what I'm doing right now. My main objective is getting (y/n) out of here alive! I don't really give a shit if she's upset for a while because you know what! You guys are there for her, if anyone can get her out of her broken state it's you Ray!... so please...just do this for me"
"Fine."
"Make sure she keeps it and reads the name of the new playlist!"
"Don't boss me around!" He yelled before I left to get changed. When I got to the main room everyone was there to see me off including (y/n).
"Hey loser...make sure you give your parents hell for not taking me with you." She says while punching my arm. She's is trying her best not to break down right now. I could easily tell from her demeanor. Her eyes are glossy, hands are shaking, and she is slightly slouched.
"I'll make them wish they never adopted me." I say back trying to see a real smile on her face. I succeed and she perks up with a slight smile. "Well anyways Farewell everybody! I..I'll wri.. I'll miss you all" I say as I follow momma out the door.
-Y/N POV-
It has been a good bit after Artemis's departure. Emma and Norman aren't doing well and you could tell it from the look on their faces. They are cold, empty, and broken but they still manage to do household chores. You haven't seen Ray though and it's starting to bug you. He was suppose to be doing dishes with you, but he was no where to be seen.
"Yo"
"Ahh OH MY GOODNESS!" You say as you catch the dish you almost broke. "What are you doing."
"Um...Artemis left this" he said while looking away. In his outstretched hand was her MP3 player.
"What! How could she forget this! It is usually always in her sight." You say as you start panicking.
"It isn't too late. You could still bring it to her" he says while trying to return to his stoic nature.
"Yeah! I'll bring it to her. Thanks Ray!" You say as you give him a rushed hug and head out the main entrance. You left the poor boy blushing because of the sudden action. He always turned down hugs because he hated PDA.
You rushed out of the house quickly to try and meet up with your twin and momma, but you didn't reach them before they got to the gate. You were hesitant to go past the gate, but you had to for Artemis's sake. She couldn't leave something this important behind, so you went past the gate and softly called out her name. Even though the place was illuminated, it was still quite dark and the small puddles on the floor made it feel eerie.
"Artemis? Where are you?" You asked before walking up to a truck. You searched around in it, but it seemed to be empty. Suddenly you head footsteps approaching, so you hid under the truck.
"Where's the girl?"
"She's in the waiting room."
"We'll bring her out, we are already behind." A voice said, they sounded very snappy and rude.
"Artemis, Artemis, Artemis. Code 93194 would you like to become a mama?"
"W..what?" You could hear your sister ask.
"Did I stutter? I said Would You Like To Become A Mama?"
"Do I have any option."
"Of course dearie."
"Then no! I don't want to kill innocent kids like you guys do! You should be ashamed of what you're doing!" She yelled at the mysterious people. You didn't get a good look at their faces, but you saw Isabella and Artemis clearly.
"Just have her shipped already. She would've been a good mom, what a waste. Hopefully code 94194 is better." The figure says as she disappears to the shadows. You couldn't help but get chill down your back as the voice said out your code.
As the figure walked away, another figure stepped up. This figure was bigger and had gray skin. They stood directly in front of your twin with no one else around them. Your sister was frozen, there was no where for her to run and no one for her to call out for. She knew what she was signing up for and thought she was prepared, but she really wasn't. The figure slowly walks up to her and stabs a white unbloomed vida through her heart. The vida blossomed as the life left her body. You couldn't function properly when you saw the sight. The last thing you clearly heard was your sister's blood curdling scream as you tried to run back to the house.
Your vision was blurry, breathing heavy and uneven, legs shaking, thoughts flying. You ended up breaking down in the middle of the forest. The contents of your dinner emerged from your stomach and painted the forest floor. No one was around you, the gate's light were still on and the gate was still open. You didn't know what to do, your minds were filled of thoughts about your siblings. Akko....Terrance....Conny... and now your twin Artemis you couldn't help but think that they are all dead. It was all because of momma...she's doing this....she was the one making you experience all these heartaches. You were about to scream when you heard a soft hum from behind you. You didn't notice the gates closed and the lights are off, so Momma is heading back.
"🎶hmm~ mmhm~🎵"
The only thought you currently had on your mind was to run and survive. You couldn't let momma catch you out here, you were supposed to be in bed sleeping like the others. You ran as fast as your wobbly legs couldn't take you and made it into the house. No one seemed to be awake, the whole house was quiet and dark. Not being able to sleep, you went to the library.
The small black novel you originally took out was still there, so you decided to do some reading that night. The book you read seemed to be a trilogy, so you quickly went to find the other books that accompanied it. You spent all night reading, when you knocked out it was 6 in the morning, so you only got an hour of sleep that night. You woke up to the sound of the breakfast bell ringing. Even though you didn't feel like getting up, you still did. Your eyes were slightly red and your hair was slightly nappy, not too noticeable but not perfect either.

"Good morning guys." You say while giving them a soft smile.
"Morning (y/n)! Where were you?" The trio asked as they approach you.
"I was in the library, I couldn't really sleep last night..." you say "but I'm okay...I'm fine... just thinking about a lot...haha yeah~" you tried to be convincing, but you weren't fooling anyone, not even yourself. They decided to let you go though in hopes that you would tell them when you're ready.
"(Y/N) sweetie are you okay?" You heard Momma behind you. Everyone else was already off playing, but you sat in the dining hall thinking.
"Huh! Oh I was just thinking"
"Is it about Artemis?" Your breath hitched when she mentioned her name. You felt like lashing out at her, but that would probably get you shipped faster so you calmed down.
"Do you think she will write back?" You asked her not even looking her in the eye. "Conny has been gone for a while, and she hasn't written back a single letter." You said while slamming your head on the table for extra emphasis.
"(Y/n)...you should be happy for her. I know it's hard to see someone leave but try to stay positive. Don't go back to that." She said as she rubbed your back. "You should go out and play" she said while walking to her office. You didn't feel like playing, so you went to go find Sister Krone.
