Jack walked into the bar, he looked around then spotted me, Hamish and Lilith sat at a table drinking coffee.

"Anything from Randall?" Jack asked, walking over to our table.

"Nothing." I shook my head, taking a sip of my hot coffee.

"None of the bar staff remember seeing him after the fight." Hamish added.

"What about that girl he was with?" Jack asked.

"No one knows her." Lilith replied.

"Did you try his phone?" Jack took out his phone and rang it.

"First thing. No answer." I answered.

"Maybe he was asleep." Jack shrugged.

"I suppose your magic phone is gonna work where mine didn't?" I rolled my eyes when Jack out his phone to his ear.

Randall's strange ringtone started going off from somewhere close to us.

Lilith got up and looked for the phone. She moved a stool and bent down, when she stood up Randall's phone was in her hands.

"You know, I heard the sound of magic this morning." Hamish told us as we both stood up.

"Me too." Lilith nodded.

"It woke me up." Jack told us.

"Yeah, I assumed it was The Order." I shrugged.

"Dylan and I will check out his usual hangout spots. Jack? Lilith?" Hamish looked at them both.

"I'll check the temple. Make sure he's not there." Jack ran out.

"I'll go home incase he went back while we were out." Lilith told us.

"Let's go." I downed the rest of my coffee and we left.

"I can't do this." Lilith told us as we neared the room that the hides were in.

"Lil, we have to. He's not in the gym, he's not in class, he's nowhere." Hamish told her.

"It doesn't mean that he's dead." I spoke.

"Doesn't mean that his hide came home." Lilith added.

"I know," Hamish sighed. "So let's be sure."

We walked into the hide room and over to the case.

Hamish and Lilith hesitated so I rolled my eyes and opened the chest.

I grabbed the candle from Hamish and lifted it into the chest.

"Nothing." I told them, letting out a sigh of relief.

"Okay. So, then where is he?" Lilith asked.

We were sat in the living room now.

It had been hours and we hadn't heard anything from Jack or Randall.

The front door opened and Jack walked in.

We walked over to him.

"What happened? Does The Order have him?" I asked him.

"No, but they're after us and they want blood." Jack replied.

"We need ideas." Hamish told us.

"Actually, I think I might have one." Jack spoke.

Alyssa walked through the door.

"Hi." She greeted us nervously.

"Oh, hell, no." Lilith turned to me and Hamish.

"You must be joking." I looked at Jack.

"She shouldn't be here." Hamish told Jack.

Alyssa kept looking at me and Lilith.

"You got a problem, witchy-poo?" Lilith asked her.

"I-I didn't expect to see women here." Alyssa stuttered.

"It's the 21st century. Women can be werewolves." Lilith answered back.

"Never mind that. Do you want to tell us why you keep giving us weird looks without lying this time?" I asked Alyssa.

"What?" She looked taken aback.

"Yeah. You're heartbeat quickened when you said that. That happens when someone lies." I told her.

"It's just...um..." Alyssa stuttered again.

"Guys, stop." Jack told me.

"Fine. I'll just ask again later," I shrugged.

"She's here to help." Jack told us.

"She's in The Order. Why should we trust her?" Lilith asked Jack.

"She's in the room." Alyssa spoke.

"She shouldn't be." I retorted.

"Why should we trust you?" Hamish asked her.

"Because I just endured torture instead of ratting you out." Alyssa explained.

"Your own people tortured you?" I asked her.

"It's complicated." Alyssa replied.

"They thought she was a werewolf." Jack told us.

"That's not that complicated." Hamish shrugged.

"She shouldn't be here." Lilith reminded Jack. "

"She can help us find Randall." Jack answered back.

"I know this divining spell. It's like a magic compass." Alyssa explained.

"Do it." I told her and Hamish nodded.

"What? You can't be serious." Lilith scoffed.

"I'm always serious." Hamish told her.

"What if she needs the cerebral fluid from an unborn baby?" Lilith asked us.

"Then we go and get it. Randall is one of us. We should try everything to find him even if we have to trust her." I answered her.

Alyssa took out a load of items to help with the spell.

"Where's your magic go-bag?" Hamish asked Jack.

"I don't have a magic go-bag. I have a kit." Jack replied and Hamish laughed.

"I'm gonna need something that's uniquely Randall's." Alyssa told us.

I grabbed his sunglasses that were next to the sofa.

"That's good." She took them and started stirring some water with them.

She snapped a stick and placed half of it in the potion.

"Inveniatur...Randall Carpio." Alyssa started the spell while holding the bowl.

"Where's the ringing?" Hamish asked when we noticed it was silent.

"Maybe the spell didn't work." Lilith looked at Alyssa accusingly.

"It's working." Alyssa told us as the stick spun in the water.

"What do you mean, ringing?" Alyssa asked while picking up the bowl and walking out the room as we followed her.

"It's like a magical alert for us." Jack explained.

"Maybe there's no ringing because she's helping us, so the magic's good." Jack guessed.

Lilith hit him on the back of the head.

"Shut up. How can you be so bad at secret societies? You're in two of them!" Lilith asked him.

We stopped outside a large building.

The five of us looked at it then Alyssa looked back at her magic bowl and started walking again.

"Where are you going? The door's right there." Lilith asked her.

"The compass says this way." Alyssa replied.

Jack and Lilith stopped while Hamish and I followed Alyssa.

"Sorry about Lilith. She's nice, once you get to know her. I'm told." Hamish told her.

"Don't worry, you get used to it." Alyssa replied.

"Why do you sound like the voice of experience?" I asked her.

"Uh, we had a couple of freshman classes together. I doubt she remembers me." Alyssa told us, her heartbeat quickening again.

She looked at me and I gave her a look but she stopped walking.

"Up there." Alyssa told us.

We looked up and saw a fight of stairs that led to a blue door before going up again.

"That's where your magic salad dressing wants to go?" Hamish asked and Alyssa nodded.

Hamish started to walk towards the door as Jack and Lilith caught up with us.

"Hey, whoa, whoa. You can't just walk in there." Alyssa grabbed his arm.

"Sure I can." Hamish nodded at her.

"That's not how we do things." Alyssa told him.

"It's how we do things." I told her, walking towards the door.

"What is she doing?" Alyssa asked when she noticed me.

"And spoil the surprise?" Hamish replied with a smirk.

I knocked on the door and stepped back.

The door buzzed then opened.

A man dressed in white with a security badge on stepped out.

"This is a restricted area." He told me. I smiled at him then let my eyes glow red.

Hamish helped me place the guard on a chair.

"It's like a morgue in here." Lilith spoke as she walked in behind us.

"That's an encouraging thought." Hamish replied.

"I'm just saying it's going to be easy." Lilith explained her thoughts.

"Randall's definitely in here." Alyssa told us.

"If you hadn't murdered the security guard, maybe we'd have the passcode." Alyssa looked at me.

"I didn't kill him. He's just got a concussion. Maybe a little brain damage." I corrected her.

"Just find Randall and get out of here." Hamish told us.

He walked over to the door and tried to pull it open.

"This door is actually pretty tough." Hamish's eyes started glowing silver.

"Let me do it. You'd just end up alerting security to our presence." Alyssa told him.

Hamish moved out of the way and Jack whispered something in Alyssa's ear.

"You thinking Reseretur?" He asked her.

"Mm. Aperiatur would be better." She replied.

Jack turned to look at us with a smile.

"Or we could try abraca-door-a. Come on." Lilith rolled her eyes.

Alyssa held her hand up and closed her eyes before muttering

"Aperiatur." The door flew open.

"Okay, that's pretty cool." Hamish praised her.

Lilith scoffed.

"What? It is." Hamish told her.

We all walked though the door.

We were now walking along one of the many corridors that all looked the same.

"This was the first spell we learned." Alyssa told Lilith.

"Why would I care?" Lilith asked her.

"Right. Why would you?" Alyssa asked herself.

"She's trying to help-" Jack started but bumped into Alyssa who dropped the bowl.

"Oh, crap. Sorry." Jack apologized when the bowl smashed.

"We don't need magic." Lilith told Alyssa.

We looked at the map that was displayed on the wall.

"That's a lot of ground to cover." I told them.

"Okay. Me, Dylan and Alyssa. Jack and Lilith. That way both groups have Knight and Order powers." Hamish told us.

"Try again." Lilith told him.

Hamish sighed and grabbed Jack's arm and started to drag him away.

"That's probably not the best idea." Alyssa told him.

"Do not kill her." I told Lilith as I followed after them.
