Riley's POV
"I swear to god Mia I'm going to kill that brother of yours!" I yell storming into Patrick's condo.
It's been a few days since the Super Bowl game and I haven't talked to Jonathan.
"Right behind you sister." Mia screams storming into the living room from the bedroom.
"He's an asshole!" I'm furious with him.
Mia points to his condo and we head out. He deserves a piece of our minds.
I'm just about to barge right into Jonathan's condo since him and Patrick live right across from each other (Mia has a key) when I feel a pair of arms wrap around my waist and pull me back.
"Wouldn't go in there if I were you!" They say.
"And why the hell not?" Mia snorts clearly pissed off.
"Unless you want to be scarred for life then I wouldn't." Patrick buts in
"Gross I don't need to know about my brothers sex life." Mia huffs backing away from the door like its the plague.
I sigh before taking a few steps back.
I turn around shock to see who's arms are around me.
"Hi!" Erik sheepishly smiles
"What are you doing here?" I gasp
"What I can't see my girlfriend?"
I still haven't gotten use to being called his girlfriend.
"Well I just thought since the other d-"
I was cut off with
"You thought wrong babe." Erik says planting a kiss on my forehead
I just blush
"Hey Romeo and Juliet if you wouldn't mind, how about you continue this conversation inside." Patrick interrupts us leading Mia back in.
Mia turns around and winks to me.
I roll my eyes at her before following them back in
"So care to explain?" Patrick asks as Erik and I sit on the couch across from Patrick and Mia
"Well my idiot brother, and your asshole of a friend basically just ruin Riley and Erik's relationship." Mia sighs resting her head on Patrick's shoulder
"How so?" Patrick questions
"He told my uncle some shit on how Erik is a man whore and has no respect for women and is going to leave me like he did with Mia. Now he doesn't want me anywhere near Erik." I sigh
"Oh wow." Patrick says shocked
"I just don't get it. If he's happy with Lindsey why can't he let me be happy with Erik." I sigh cuddling into Erik
"Hey don't worry it will be ok." Erik soothes me pressing a kiss to my forehead
We talk a little more but I pretty much zoned out the whole time
"I should probably get going." I say standing up
"Let me drive you home." Erik grins standing up as well
"Are you sure?" I ask biting my lip
"Never been more sure in entire life." Erik grins
"Alright." I smile
"I'll see you guys tomorrow then?"
"Yup!" Both Mia and Patrick grin
"Alright bye guys!" Erik tells them as we head out the door
"Bye."
Is the last thing we hear before Erik shuts the door
Erik interlocks our fingers before walking to his car. He opens the door for me before getting in him self
It's pretty much silent for most of the drive until we reached my stop.
"Well thanks for the ride, I would invite you in but we both know that wouldn't end well." I sigh opening the door
I really wasn't in a good mood if you couldn't tell already
"Riley wait." Erik say causing me to shut the door
"Yeah?"
"I want you to know that I promise everything will be ok."
"How can you be so sure?" I mumble
He doesn't say anything instead he presses his lips to mine.
At first I taken back a little but once I realize what's happening I kiss back
Finally what seem like an eternity we pull away
"Does that answer your question?" Erik smirk
I just nod as a grin appears on my face
"Well I'll see you tomorrow then?" I ask opening the door
"Yup! Bye Riley."
"Bye Erik." I smile waving to him before he drives off
Man is he a good kisser
I walk into the house to see Patrick playing with Maddy
I smile to myself as I see them goofing off, it brings back a few childhood memories
But the smile disappears as I remember that I'm still pissed at him
Patrick's face changes into a frown as he sees that it's me
"You've been gone all day. Where have you been?"
"I was just out with a few friends." I shrug taking off my coat
"Better not have been with Erik." He says standing up
I can feel myself getting angry but I hold it back
"No just with Mia and Patrick." I lie
"Good cause I don't want you want anywhere near him."
This time I don't hold it back but instead I let it all out
"Why? You don't even know him! You believe Jonathan over your own niece. He's the one who's sleeping with that bimbo not me! I'm not a little kid anymore, you can't keep treating me like I am one! It's my life so let me live it my way!!" I scream at him storming out of the room
I hear Abby calling me but I don't listen and just keep running up the stairs to my room. Making sure to slam the door shut.
I just scream into my pillow, letting out somewhat of my anger.
After a few minutes I hear a knock on my door.
"Riley honey, it's Abby. Can I come in?"
"Yeah sure." I say some what annoyed
As Abby opens the door and walks in
With just one look She gives me a sympathetic one
"What's up?" I ask trying not to make a big deal out of what happen a few minutes ago
"Are you ok?" She asks taking a seat next me
"Yeah I'm fine." I lie looking around my room
Abby just raises her eyebrows at me
"It's just I don't get it. Why is he acting like this?" I sigh
"Pardon my French but you mean an asshole?"
I just smile a little and nod
It's rare when Abby curses but its funny when she does
"Riley you got to understand that he's just trying to protect you. He doesn't want you to get hurt. So when Jonathan told him those things he jumped to conclusion. When he should of talked it out with you and stuff, but he's Patrick when he makes up his mind nothing can change what he thinks."
"Still that doesn't give him the right to tell me who I should and shouldn't see."
"I agree with you 100 percent but like I said it's Patrick good luck changing his mind."
"Ugh." I groan
"Hey don't worry give him sometime I bet he'll eventually come around." Abby tells me
"I hope." I sigh
"What did Jonathan even tell him?"
I heard a little of what Patrick was told but not the exact details
Abby eyes just go wide
"It was nothing really."
"Oh come on it obviously was something."
She sighs
"He told him that Erik slept with the whole cheer leading squad in a matter of three weeks."
I feel my jaw drop
"That asshole." I mutter
"You don't actually believe that do you?"
"I believe that whatever Erik's past is it's in the past, and that he's change. I believe he is a good person, despite what Jonathan said." Abby smiles
"He is!" I smile
"I just wish Patrick would realize that."
"Just give him some time, he'll come around." Abby assures me
"It's just the first time I actually have a good boyfriend, I'm forbidden to see him." I sigh
Abby gives me yet another sympathetic look
"Dinner is just about done, why don't you come and eat."
"I'm really not hungry." I lie
I'm actually starving but I'm not in the mood to interact with anyone right now
"Ok but if you change your mind there's plenty of food." Abby gives me a small smile
I just nod
Abby gets up and leaves, leaving me all alone

Abby and I were in the car on our way to the game. I honestly didn't want to go but I know that would be rude if I didn't.
I feel my phone vibrate
Hey I'm caught up at work, I don't think I'll be able to make the game.):
~Mia
I frown
Great no boyfriend and no best friend
"Everything all right?" Abby asks pulling up to the Arena
"Yeah just Mia won't be able to make the game."
"How come?" She asks getting out of the car as I do the same
"Work." I say as we approach the arena
Maddy was at Abby's parent's house or the night so it was just the two of us
"Oh that's too bad, she's missing a good game." She says as we make our way inside and to security
I just nod as we head to our suite after going through security
"I'll be right back, just got to use the restroom." I tell Abby
She just nods before walking over to Dayna Seabrook
My head is glued to my phone as I walk to the bathroom
Since I'm too busy scrolling through tumblr, not paying attention to where I'm walking, I run right into a hard body
"Sorry I wasn't paying attention." I say not looking up
"Yeah I can see that." I hear them smirk
I look up only to see Erik and Mia
"Erik!" I grin wrapping my arms around his neck
He just laughs wrapping his arm around my waist
"Hey don't forget I'm hear too!" Mia buts in
We just laugh
"Wait what are you guys doing here?" I ask "I though you had to work?"
"Well Erik wouldn't stop complaining how much he missed you, I figured bringing him here would shut him up, so what better way to surprise you then this." Mia grins
"You guys are the best." I smile pulling them into a group hug
"Wait what about my uncle?" I gasp as we pull away
"That's what I wanted to talk about." Erik begins taking my hands into his
"Look Riley I really like you and I don't care what Jonathan has to say or what your uncle thinks. So what i'm trying to say is that I don't care if we have to sneak around just to be together, as along as your mine and we're together that's all that matters."
"So you're saying that your ok if we have to sneak around just to see each other?" I ask
"Yes of course! As long as I'm with you that's all I care about."
I blush
"Think about it, this will be our little secret. We would be like Romeo and Juliet." Erik grins
I just smile
"Aw that's just adorable." Mia buts in
Erik and I just laugh
"So what do you say?" He asks
"Yes!" I smile
"That's my girl." Erik laughs kissing my cheek causing me to blush
I love the sound of that "my girl"
"Alright love birds, why don't we take a seat the game's about to start." Mia tells us
We just shrug and take a seat

I was waiting at the exit of the arena for Patrick and Abby. Mia had already left with Patrick and Erik left before the game ended so Patrick wouldn't see him. And since Patrick and I aren't on speaking terms I'm waiting here instead of outside the locker room.
I"m in the middle of playing some game on my phone when I see Jonathan walk down a hallway. He was alone. I figured this would be a good time to give him a piece of my mind. So I follow him
"Jonathan." I call as he turns around
"What do you want?" He snarls
"Why the hell would you say that?" I stare at him.
"Has he told you anything about his past life?" Jonathan's voice is cold.
"What about it?"
"Mia doesn't even know, she was off at her female hockey boarding school."he has a proud smile on his face for a few seconds.
"Why don't you tell me?"
What the hell made this guys so mad?
"He's been a player, never changed until he met Mia, but after they broke he became worse. He's going to hump and dump you." Jonathan starts to walk away from me.
"Wait! You think Erik is going to leave me? Your wrong! He isn't you Jonathan!!" I watch as he turns around.
"I told you to stay away from Mia and I mean it. You want to fuck your life up, go ahead don't fuck up my sisters. She has a lot more going for her then you do. Why don't you go back to where you're from? It would make all our lives easier and tell Erik that your uncle and I want to talk to him." I watch as his back retreats from my vision.
Great. Not only am I forbidden from seeing my boyfriend but my best friend too.
