The morning was bright and beautiful in the market but even more so with asra. We went into town for some herbs for a new spell he was trying to teach me. Of corse it is a bit difficult on the account that I can't speak very well. " oh, hey m/c you said how much you like the pumpkin bread from the bakers booth let's get some." I nod showing that I want some. Ever since I was lurning to speak again with asra, I've been self conscious of my voice. Altho I'm older than one I sound like a toddler with a speech impediment. We walk into the booth and all eyes turn to me,*... I never understand why the people stare when I come into town.* We come up to the vendor and he greats us "Asra it's amazing to see you old friend, oh and m/c as well" asra nods to me sighing that I should say hello back "h-hello" I say with a slurred voice. Asra looks a bit proud that I said something so I smile knowing I did something right. " would you like to order yourself m/c or would you like me to do it instead" asra asks. I want to make him proud. I think- no I know I can do this. I nod again saying I want to order. Asra smiles wide " well go ahead." The Baker turns to me and looks at me awaiting my order. I inhale, " I wo-would li...like two o-orders of p-p-pumkin bread please." I look down. I struggled but...atleast I got through it without crying again." Of corse m/c coming right up " the Baker says with a smile. I smile back and look to asra, he is smiling proudly with slight tears in his eyes like I'm his greatest accomplishment. We walk to an open table and sit, "gods m/c I am unbelievably proud of you.
