The snow fell all over the city do gracefully and the cold air felt as icy as an iceberg but Tomomi didn't mind the cold.
Christmas time was here so everyone got ready for the greatest time of year. And it has been a trying year for everyone in UA Academy.
So this was like a breather for everyone. Which is why they planned a Christmas party together in their dorm common room. But after the girls had cleaned the entire common room from top to bottom to get it ready for decorations, Denki Kaminari got the bright idea to prank Bakugou out of his sleep, you can guess what happened to all of that hard work.
Bakugou got so angry, he chased the blonde kid into the common room, making things explode on the way. Dirtying everything again and even breaking a few things. And this brings us to the beginning of this christmas story.
"I get that Kaminari and Bakugou are the ones who trashed the common room but why are the rest of us being punished for it?" Kirishima asked as he begrudgingly started sweeping the floors.
Because of Denki's stupid idea, the boys all had to spend the better half of their first day of winter break cleaning the entire common room after trashing it. To say the girls were angry was an understatement of epic proportions. They were PISSED OFF. But no one more than Tomomi Todoroki, who is a known germaphobe and is very serious about being clean.
It was the scariest thing they had to deal with. They have never seen her so angry before. It was the very first time Bakugou expressed fear for anyone ever and the first time he didn't care about looking like a little bitch in front of people.
"B-Babe, I promise, it wasn't my fault." Bakugou shakenly explained as he watched his girl friend's hair start to float upward.
Her eyes glowed a menacing light blue, her hair floated all around her in a demonic manner and ice started flying around her body, ready to kill each and everyone of them.
"P-Please, help us, Shoto!!" Denki begged on his knees, not wanting to get killed.
But Shoto continued to drink his bottle of water, looking very unfazed by their possible deaths that could very much happen right then and there. "I don't feel like it." He said, making his way back to his dorm.
"This is all your fault, stupid!" Bakugou yelled at Denki, fearing for his soul.
"It wasn't me who decided to try and make my eyes pop!"
"I told you to not disturb me when I'm sleeping!!! Now, we're gonna die because of you!!!"
"Why isn't Tokyami, Todoroki, Midoriya and the rest are punished?" Sero asked, pointing at them with a deadpanned face.
"Was it any of them that, instead of stopping the situation, started recording and encouraging Denki to run away?" Aizawa grumbled, crossing his arms and glaring at them. "There's your answer, Sero. Now shut up and get to cleaning."
"But Shoto didn't even blink when Bakugou destroyed the common room!" Denki argued, not wanting to spend the half of his first day of winter break cleaning.
"It pays to learn how to mind your business, Kaminari." Shoto said, straightening his leather jacket and scarf.
"Well, where are they going?" Kirishima asked.
"While you delinquents are here cleaning, The girls and the rest are going to be taking Eri ice skating and to the park for the winter wonderland carnival while I have to get to a hero's meeting," Aizawa explained, "Now, you all can meet them there AFTER you've clean this place from top to bottom. Now, get to work and I better be able to see myself through this doorknob."
With that, Aizawa left their dorm area. Denki grumbled under his breath as he continued to wipe the windows down. " 'I better be able to see myself through this doorknob' Ugh! I could be enjoying the ice skating or stuffing my face with holiday funnel cake but I'm here!"
"SHUT UP AND CLEAN, YOU DISCOUNT PIKACHU!!" Bakugou yelled at him. "BESIDES, IT WAS YOUR STUPID PRANK THAT GOT US IN THIS IN THE FIRST PLACE!"
"You can catch up with us at the carnival if you finish fast enough, Kaminari." Midoriya said as he straightened his knitted winter hat. "I'll save you funnel cake."
"Why thank you, Deku."
"Let's just get this over with before Avalanche goes crazy on us again." Kirishima mumbled, frowning as he was sweeping. "I still say Bakugou and Kaminari should be the only ones in trouble."
"Look, you imitation shark." Bakugou aggressively whispered to him and the other two. "You think I wanna spend the morning scrubbing ashes off of the couch? No! I would much rather ice skating, drinking hot cocoa and spending this snowy day with my Frost Bite but because of the stupidity of one, we're here! So shut the fuck up and clean so that we can leave!"
"How sweet of you, Katsuki-chan~"
The boys turned to see Tomomi standing behind Bakugou. She was dressed in a black shirt, black slim fitted jeans, black boots and a bulky knitted long red cardigan. her hair was in a low ponytail with a few wavy strands of her white hair framing her face. She even had on pearl necklaces and dangling pearl earrings. She looked so elegant in even the most normal attire.
But she looked too pretty in Bakugou's eyes. So pretty, his inner protective and possessive side was coming out.
Tomomi slung her black purse over her shoulder, smiling at him with that pretty smile he used to yell at her about. "It won't take you all long to clean up here, I'm sure you'll be able to meet up with us at the skating rink."
"Sorry, if we took so long." Momo said as the rest of the girls all came out dressed and ready to go. "Eri begged me to style her hair just like Tomo-chan's."
Sure enough, little Eri's hair looked exactly like hers. in a low ponytail with a few strands framing her face. She even kind of dressed like her except she was wearing a light brown scarf.
Tomomi smiled as she watched the little one horned girl walk towards her with excitement in her eyes. "Momo-nee chan made me look like you! See?" She said, pointing at her hair. "Do you like it?"
"I love it." Tomomi said, smiling at her and taking her hand in hers. "Are you ready to go?"
"I can't wait to ice skate!" Uraraka beamed, clapping her mitten covered hands.
"Me too!" Mina followed along, circling her arm around her shoulders. "And it's snowing so that sets up a romantic scenery!"
"R-Romantic?" Bakugou stuttered, suddenly going pale.
"Yeah, can you imagine it?" Mina continues on, not realizing how paranoid Bakugou was getting. "A lonely and beautiful girl just ice skating by herself, a handsome man just swoops in and asks her 'why are you so alone on a beautiful day like this?' and she's all like 'I just need someone to keep me warm during this cold day' ugh! So beautiful."
Bakugou could only imagine Tomomi in that situation with some generic guy swooping in and taking her away from him. Which only made him go crazy with paranoia that some guy will do just that because she was looking WAY too good right now.
"GET TO WORK, NOW AND FAST!" Bakugou yelled, dusting the couches aggressively as he mumbled angrily about getting to his girlfriend fast before other guys get to her.
"KAMINARI, YOU CALL THAT CLEANING?! YOUR SWEEPING SKILLS ARE PATHETIC!!!"
"I'M SWEEPING AS BEST AS I CAN!" Denki cried, sweeping faster than before.
"Something tells me they will be done by the time we get to the ice rink." Jirou said, looking up from her phone. "It always surprises me to know how domesticated Bakugou really is."
"Yeah, that's one of the things I cherish about him the most." Tomomi said, smiling at her angry dusting boyfriend, who was looking very livid over the fact that the couch wasn't clean enough.
"The driver is here, everyone." Momo said, hanging up her phone. "We'll see you guys later~"
"Happy cleaning, guys." Shoto smirked as they all followed Momo outside. He was having too much fun with the gloating.
"Do not miss a spot," Tokoyami added.
"Say good bye, Eri~" Midoriya said, grabbing the little girl's other hand while she held onto Tomomi's right hand.
"Goodbye, everyone~!"
Sure enough, the boys were done by the time they were able to start skating on the ice. They got there by the time Tomomi was able to teach Hagakure, Uraraka and Eri how to skate on ice. They seemed to be the only two who didn't know how to skate so she taught them. Good thing they learn quickly.
Now, both Hagakure and Uraraka couldn't stop gliding all around the ice rink like a swan princess. Eri stayed with Tomomi, holding her hand as they skated together. Shoto and Tokoyami took a break and decided to get hot cocoa for everyone.
Mina and Asui stuck together and skated around the rink while giggling and having fun. Midoriya started making a snow man after a while with Shouji, Jirou and Momo's help. Sato and Kouda hug out near the a railing. Aoyama kept trying to make it rain sparkles as he glided on the ice.
Ojirou stuck with Midoriya and also helped make a snowman.
Everyone was having fun and by the time Bakugou, Denki, Sero and Kirishima made it to the out doors ice rink, the fun was just beginning.
"That was some speedy deep cleaning." Kirishima chuckled out as they made it to the rink entrance. "I had no idea there was a way to deep clean a rug at a rapid rate."
"There isn't, Bakubro became jealous because he thought his Frost Bite was going to get swept away by someone else." Denki teased, snickering under his breath.
"DO YOU WANT ME TO SHOVE AN ICICLE UP YOUR ASS?! SHUT THE HELL UP! I WASN'T JEALOUS!" Bakugou shouted, making the blonde quickly hide behind Kirishima.
"Well, good thing is, we were able to finish before the fun ended." Sero said, lacing up the rental ice skates he got.
"Wow...Tomo-chan sure looks beautiful under the snow fall." Denki said, lovestrucked as he stared out in the open.
Bakugou turned to see what he was talking about and surely enough, he saw his Frost Bite on the ice. She was smiling brightly as she and Eri glided gracefully on the ice together. The light wind blew her hair back a bit. Tomomi looked in her element, relaxed and so beautiful to him. He felt his lips form a small smile the longer he watched her and Eri skate together.
His mind wandered to what it would be like to marry her and have kids with her. Tomomi has always been great with kids and Eri absolutely adores her. She looked like a mother whenever she was with Eri and Bakugou knew she would be an excellent mother someday.
He just hopes he could be that guy she starts a family with.
Feeling eyes on her, Tomomi looked as she and Eri made another round to see Bakugou sitting at the benches, smiling a little at her. She smiled sweetly back at him, causing his heart to beat rapidly, but the smile never leaving his face.
"I see you're happy to be here." Shoto's voice interrupted his thoughts and his frown came back.
Shoto stood next to him, holding a cup carrier with four cups of hot cocoa on them. He picked one up and handed it to the blonde. "We predicted your arrival and got you all some, as well."
Bakugou grumbled but took the cup from him, anyways. No way was he gonna deny free cocoa. "Thanks, Icy Hot."
"No problem, pomeranian." He teased back, knowing he would get a rise out of him.
"What did you just call me?!" Bakugou angrily yelled, "I will-"
"Katsuki-chan~!" Tomomi greeted sweetly, planting a kiss on his cheek. "I told you it wouldn't take long, now didn't ?"
Shoto held back a chuckle as he watched Bakugou suddenly go from angry to soft when his sister arrived. Eri beamed upwards at Bakugou, her hand never leaving Tomomi's. "Bakugo-chan! Big sister Tomo said that you're gonna help us build a snow man!"
Bakugou frowned in confusion at her until he realized, this was Tomomi's doing. He looked at her with a small glare as she smiled back at him innocently. If I didn't love teddy bear so much, I would be cursing her out right now. He thought as he sighed loudly.
"Fine, we'll make a stupid snowman," He said lazily as Eri squealed in delight. "But you gotta drink your cocoa first."
"Okay!" Eri said as Tomomi helped put on her boots again. Once she had her shoes on again, she skipped over to where everyone else were. Leaving the couple by themselves. Shoto had already left to pass out more cocoa to the rest of the class.
"That was very fatherly of you, Katsuki-chan," Tomomi said, setting her skates aside. She circled her arms around his waist as he instinctively wrapped one of his arms around her shoulders.
"Yeah, yeah, she's a good kid." Bakugou mumbled with an attitude.
"You were jealous, weren't you?" She teased as his face turned red.
Bakugou will never admit it but, he was very jealous and he couldn't stop thinking about what Mina said. He knew it was ridiculous to take what she said to heart when Tomomi has always reassured him that he has her heart but there was a small part that will always be paranoid over the fact that she could literally find better and do better than him.
"Only when it comes to you, teddy bear." He quietly mumbled, making her blush this time over the nickname.
He started calling her that way before they started dating because while she is very strong, to him, she was still very soft and cute. At first, it was just a nickname to tease her with. But as time went on, it became a favorite name to call her. Second to Frost Bite.
After some more skating, and Tomomi stopping Bakugou from killing some guys who kept checking her out, the group all took Eri to the Winter Wonderland Carnival at the local park. It was a winter festival in the city that was made famous decades ago. So famous that even some pro heroes make appearances every year.
As soon as they got there, the entire group excitedly broke away from one another. Some went to the rides while others went to the carnival games. Eri wanted to ride the merry-go-round but Bakugou didn't and neither did Tokoyami, Kirishima or Shouji. Which made her sad.
That was, until, Tomomi looked at them with a scary glare in her blue eyes, making them stiffen in fear.
The next thing they knew, they were on the merry-go-round with Tomomi and Eri. Bakugou even shared a horse with Eri, having her sit in front of him while Tomomi took a unicorn seat right next to him.
He had a bored expression as the ride went up and down, spinning at a low medium level. Eri kept cheering and clapping her hands as Tomomi giggled with her. Bakugou was about three seconds away from jumping off the moving ride the longer the repetitive music played in his ears.
To make matters worse, Eri force him to wear a stupid pair of puppy dog christmas ears headband because she thought he was cute, like a puppy.
And he wasn't the only one. Tokoyami was forced to wear ridiculous reindeer ears, Kirishima wore an elf hat that lit up in Christmas colors, and Shouji was forced to wear a pair of christmas cat ears headband.
Because if they said no, Tomomi would freeze their veins solid. And they wanted to live.
Kirishima found the fun in the ride while Tokoyami blushed as he sat on the elephant seat, crossing his arms and facing his head away from the public. Shouji just sighed, waiting for the ride to be over.
Once the ride was done, Bakugou was the first to get off. Not wanting anyone to see him like this. "Up you go, kid." He said, picking Eri up and holding her in his arms as they all began to get off of the ride.
Just as he was sure no one from their class would be around to see him, his worst nightmare came true. As soon as he heard Denki's stupid laugh, he knew his plan failed.
"Yooo! Look! Bakugou is really a pomeranian now!" He laughed, clutching his stomach as he doubled over in laughter. "Awww, you look so adorable!"
"He really looks like a puppy now." Momo giggled under her gloved hand.
"So cute~" Mina added.
Bakugou turned redder than a tomato as steam practically shot out of his ears. Tomomi giggled, placing a hand on his shoulder. "Eri wanted to buy some of the items here so she made us wear them."
"Easy for you to say, she made you wear a crown." Tokoyami mumbled grumpily.
Eri wanted Tomomi to wear a crown that looked like the same one used in the movie Frozen.
"Let's just go!" Bakugou stormed ahead of everyone angrily, still holding Eri in his arms. Who was just happy to be in his arms. Because Big Brother Bakugou was fun to play with.
"He looks like an angry dad." Jirou pointed out, taking a photo of him and Eri. For blackmail purposes.
"Yeah, it's actually very adorable." Uraraka giggled out. "Come on! The day is still bright and we still have rides to ride and games to play!"
"Can't argue with that, lets go!"
All early afternoon, the class and Eri spent their time at the carnival playing games and riding the rides. In the middle of it, Kirishima purposed the guys all have a contest to see who could win the most carnival games there.
And what started as a friendly competition, ended up being a full on war with the guys. So far, Bakugou, Shoto, Kirishima and Midoriya were in the lead for most wins. Tokoyami really didn't care to participate and Ojiro took Eri over to the ferris wheel ride. To give Tomomi and the girls a break.
"AANNND WE ARE BACK TO THE WINTER GAMES, EVERYONE!" Denki said, pretending to be an announcer. "OUR LAST GAME WILL DECIDE WHO WINS THE WINTER CARNIVAL OLYMPICS WITH THE GREEN MONSTER, MIDORIYA, THE BIG AND MANLY KIRISHIMA, THE DEVIL HIMSELF, BAKUGOU AND THE RED AND BLUE PRODIGY TODOROKI!"
"It's just a punching game." Asui said, deadpanned by their dramatic scene.
"Now remember, the rules are simple, no using quirks." Denki continued on, ignoring her. "Mainly because Midoriya can't break his arm now that Recovery Girl is on vacation and we don't have insurance to cover any public damage. BEGIN!"
First up, it was Kirishima, who punched the machine as hard as he could. In the end, he got a whopping 893 score. He was a heavy hitter, indeed. Everyone applauded as he smiled sheepishly. "I guess I don't need my quirk to fight all the time, huh?"
Next up was Shoto, who also punched it really hard, gaining himself a 892 score. Which he was satisfied with. "Not bad."
Next was Midoriya and he blew everyone away when he punched the machine, causing it to shake a little. He ended up gaining first place with a whopping 902 score.
"What th- HOW!?" Kirishima exclaimed, his jaw was on the floor. Even Shoto looked at him with slight surprise.
Midoriya rubbed the back of his head with a shy smile. "I-I guess even when I don't use my quirk, I don't know my own strength."
"You are truly full of surprises, Midoriya." Tokoyami said, calmly.
Wanting to one up him, Bakugou quickly turned to Tomomi. "Kiss me."
"What?!" She said, shocked by his sudden boldness. He has never kissed her in front of their friends before so this was a shocker to see him demand such act.
"I need to be charged up and I can't do that if you don't charge me up, so kiss me now." He said, not waiting for her to respond.
He pulled her in by her cardigan and planted a big kiss on her lips. In front of everyone. Tomomi was too shocked to immediately respond and everyone else either looked away out of respect or was genuinely flabbergasted by his bold act.
"What a man Bakubro is...." Kirishima mumbled, looking at him in awe.
"Ew..." Shoto grimaced, not liking the sight of his twin sister kissing a boy in front of him. They were so in love, it was sickening to him. But he was happy for her anyways. Still no brother wants to see their sister kissing a guy or girl in front of them.
"How romantic is he?" Mina swooned. "He thrives on the power of his girlfriend's love."
"So romantic~" Uraraka swooned with her.
Bakugou pulled away from the kiss with a smirk on his face. Tomomi just stood there with a blush on her cheeks, trying to process what just happened.
"Now, I feel like I can do anything!" He exclaimed before punching the machine super hard.
That kiss helped him tenfold because his score came up to 993, breaking the current record completely.
"AAANNND THE WINNER IS...KATSUKI BAKUGOU!!" Denki announced, pretending to ring a bell. "WITH THE POWER THAT BUZZY BEAUTIFUL SUNSHINE NUGGET GAVE HIM, HE BROKE THE CURRENT RECORD AND HE CAN GO HOME WITH THE FIRST PLACE PRIZE!"
The first place prize was just an All Might mug from one of the gift shop. It was the last one they had.
"I already have my prize," Bakugou said, pulling Tomomi close to him by her waist. She was still in shock so all she did was stare out into space and said nothing. "Merry Early Christmas, Deku."
Bakugou gave the mug to Midoriya, knowing it was him that really wanted it. He was only in it to compete.
Midoriya's eyes glittered when Bakugou placed the mug in his hand. To him, it wasn't just any mug, it was limited edition. Which was why it was so expensive in the gift shop. But what made it so special was the fact that Kaachan gave it to him.
"T-Thank you so much, Kaachan!"
"Yeah, yeah, don't say I never did anything for you." Bakugou dismissed his thanks. "Let's go home now if we want to start with the decorations or whatever."
"He is right, it is getting dark." Momo noted, looking at the darkening sky as night time was almost upon them. "Besides, we did promise Eri that we will make holiday cookies before Aizawa took her home."
Tomomi almost didn't hear them as she was still in shock. It wasn't until Bakugou pulled her along with him by her hand that she was brought back to reality. "Let's go, Teddy Bear."
"O-Okay." She stuttered out, still feeling the effects of his kiss.
By the time they got back to the Dorms, Eri was fast asleep in Shoto's arms. He offered to carry her inside so that Ojiro can take his break. Her head laid on his shoulders while her arms were circled around his neck in a limp hug. It wasn't late night but for a young child like her, it was about time she went to bed anyways.
She had a fun day out and she ate a ton of sweets, so she was going to be out like a light. Also, they promised Aizawa that they would have her back at a certain time. And none of them wanted to be on his shit list for bringing her home too late.
"I see the common room is cleaned well," Aizawa said as his students all walked in. The hero meeting must have ended before their day did. And as he looked around the very clean common room, he was impressed by the clean smell it gave off and how everything was very clean.
"No thanks to drill sergeant Bakugou here," Denki mumbled, thrusting his thumb at him. Bakugou was about to yell at him until Shoto smacked him upside the head, stopping him.
"WHAT'S YOUR-"
"Sssshhh! Eri's sleep!" Shoto scolded quietly, adjusting her in his arms.
"Seems like she had a fun filled day." Aizawa said, walking over to him and carefully taking her in his arms. Eri sleeply snuggled in his arms, lightly snoring. "It's a good thing she's sleep now. It's almost her bed time."
"Aww, we promised her that we would make cookies and a gingerbread house with her." Midoriya pouted, feeling bad.
"You all can do so tomorrow," Aizawa promised, "I got to get her in bed now before she decides to wake up. Have fun decorating and good night."
The students bid him goodnight before he left them in the common room. "Okay, let's get started!"
After three hours or so, the entire common room was decked out in holiday decor and it looked very warm and wholesome. All that was left to do was the massive tree that nearly touched the ceiling. How they got the tree inside, was still a mystery. It was Bakugou, Shouji and Tokoyami who went out to get the tree. But instead of going to one of those tree stops in town, they went to a nearby forest.
Apparently, Bakugou and Tokoyami argued over which tree they should take and they ended up taking a huge tree to settle the argument.
Uraraka floated upward to help place ornaments at the top while the rest used a ladder or a stepping stool. Shouji held both Tomomi and Asui up on his shoulders as they placed homemade ornamets on the tree.
"I just don't get why we have this gigantic ass tree." Kirishima said, looking at the tree with a baffled look. "Did it really have to be that huge?"
"It was either this or listen to Bakugou cause an avalanche due to his yelling." Tokoyami replied, helping Midoriya with wrapping the lights around the tree.
"Just because I'm in a good mood doesn't mean I won't turn your ass into fried chicken" Bakugou threatened as he placed tinsels on the tree.
"Oooh, I'm so scared." Tokoyami replied sarcastically.
"You know what, you bird bitch-"
"No fighting." Tomomi scolded the both of them. "Not unless you want this ornament thrown at you."
Both Bakugou and Tokayami went back to their tasks but not before they glared at each other discreetly.
"This tree is looking pretty, Tomo-chan." Midoriya beamed, placing his homemade All Might ornament. Each of them made their own ornament for the tree.
"I must admit, this was a great idea." Shoto said as Tomomi hopped down from Shouji's shoulder and stood next to him.
"I am very happy to be able to do this with you all." Tomomi said, sincerely.
Uraraka placed the star on top, finishing the tree off. As she floated back down, everyone gathered around to admire their hard work. And they were very proud of what they did. The tree was beautiful, the decorations all around gave off a home like feeling and all they had to do was start baking for the party. Which they will do tomorrow, promising Eri that they will let her help.
"This was fun." Jirou said, smiling softly. "It sucks that Iida and Mineta decided to spend christmas at home."
"We can do without Mineta for a day or so." Momo said, chuckling a little. "But I agree, they would've loved doing this."
"Well, it's getting late and we have a whole day of baking and cooking tomorrow." Tokoyami said, looking at the time. It was currenly 11:30 at night. "We should get some sleep."
"Yeah, I'm pretty sleepy," Tomomi said, yawning a little. "Goodnight."
Everyone began to part ways towards their respective areas, going to sleep so that they could get up early.
"YOU CALL THAT MIXING?! YOU'RE SAD AND EMBARRASSING!!"
As the next day came, they all got to baking. Aizawa brought back Eri, who was wearing a cute little Santa's hat and a knitted Christmas sweater, so that she could help with the cookies and gingerbread house.
While Bakugou monitored the baking and cooking, the girls and Midoriya sat at the kitchen island cutting out cookies and building the gingerbread house. Because they didn't want Eri to feel left out, everyone wore a different styled Christmas sweater, a curtesy gift from Aoyama, who got them made a few days prior.
Tomomi wore a Santa hat with fun dangling earrings that hat little Christmas ornaments hanging off them. Eri sat on her lap as they both started decorating already baked cookies.
While they were having fun, the rest nearly cried because of Bakugou insulting their baking skills.
Tokoyami and Kouda left to the store for more cookie decorations and other necessities. Like candy canes for the invitations and more cocoa.
"Big sister Tomo," Eri said, holding up a canndy cane shaped cookie. "Is this pretty? I wanna give it to Mirio~"
Tomomi smiled at her, nodding her head. "It looks beautiful."
Eri smiled and went back to decoration another cookie.
"I just noticed how much Eri could be your daughter." Mina said, smiling softly at the two.
Tomomi and Eri looked up at the same time and gave her identical blank stares. Which only made them laugh a little.
"Not only are you and Eri sporting the same style of hair but she seems to want to be like you." Hagakure pointed out. "She also seems to like you the most, well....She also loves Midoriya and Mirio."
"She was probably your daughter in another life time." Momo added, sprinkling sprinkles on one of the cookies. "That's probably why you two bond so well. That's probably why her and Midoriya bonded really good, also."
Eri and Tomomi looked at each other and blinked. Eri had always seen Tomomi as her big sister because she took care of her like Midoriya and Mirio did. She just loved having her around. Tomomi loved Eri like a little sister. She figured out how Fuyumi must feel when they bonded together over movies and popcorn together. That warm feeling of family and having a sudden urge to protect the younger girl. That's how she felt with Eri.
And, according to Aizawa, Eri would always get excited when she finds out it's Tomomi's turn to baby sit her.
"I love Big Sister Tomo~" Eri said, leaning her head on her shoulder. Tomomi smiled, hugging the little girl close.
"And I love you, too."
After weeks of planning and sending out invitations, Christmas day finally arrived and the party was a huge success. Many students from UA attended and even some students from Class B showed up.
Which no one was happy about because that meant Monoma would attend but Tomomi reminded them to stay humble and not stoop to his level. No matter how much she wanted to freeze his head because he kept critiquing EVERYTHING they did.
In the end, she threatened to freeze his blood and shatter his veins if he didn't shut up. Which worked wonders. He didn't dare say another insult.
The party was a lot of fun, families stopped by, some pro heroes even attended and Eri had the most fun.
While the party went on, Tomomi stood outside in the falling snow, just enjoying the weather and the season, all together. She wasn't sure if Natsuo and Fuyumi would make it but they did and they even bought her friends gifts. Hell, even her father made it. Neither Tomomi or Shoto were quite ready to forgive him and start a bond with him but this was a small step.
But she told Fuyumi that it will take a very long time before she would want to bond with him. A whole childhood of abuse and anger was just too much for her to just forget now. But she invited him as a first step in that long journey. Didn't mean she had to actually talk to him.
"Hey, Frost Bite." Bakugou called out softly as he walked over to her. Tomomi looked behind her, seeing him walk right towards her. "What are you doing out here when the party is behind us, dumbass?"
Tomomi smiled, looking up as the snow fell on them. "I'm just...happy."
"You like winter that much?" He teased, leaning his back onto the lamp post they stood under. His hands in his jean pockets. He was wearing a black leather jacket, which was left open, exposing the fact that he was wearing a black tank top underneath. "It must be the season that's got you so happy because I can't think of anyone else besides me that can make you smile like that."
"Always the kindest, Katsuki-chan." Tomomi giggled, bringing her knuckles to her lips in a cute manner.
Bakugou smiled at her, gently grabbing her hand in his. Her hand was cold but they quickly warmed as he held them to his face. She softly caressed his cheek with her thumbs. She was so in love with him, there was no one else for her but him. And he felt the same way about her.
No one else was gonna accept him, fault and all, the way she did. In terms of romance, that is. He was happy to know he had friends that also accepted him but Tomomi was different.
And he might be young, still new to relationships, but this what his mom must have been talking about when she said to find someone that you would be kinder for. Tomomi made him want to change but the fact that she loved him for him was enough for him to know he was in this for life.
"Merry Christmas, baby." He said, pulling out a small box.
Tomomi's eyes nearly fell out of her head when she saw the velvet red ring box in front of her. He wasn't gonna propose, right?! They were way too young!
Bakugou chuckled, knowing what that panicked look meant. "No, it's not an engagement ring, Teddy Bear. It's a promise ring."
He opened it, revealing a beautiful ring with a light blue diamond in the middle, shaped as a snowflake. The silver band had the words 'Future Mrs.Bakugou' on the band. Tomomi felt her eyes water as he began slipping the ring on her ring finger.
"It's a promise." He said, pushing the ring right on her finger. "I promise to always love you, accept you for who you are and to make myself a better me so that I can be someone you can be proud of."
Tears slipped down her face as she looked at the ring with love filling her heart at an alarming rate. Bakugou never ceased to amaze her. He always found ways to make her heart race everytime she second guesses them. He always reminded her why she loved him when things got too tough for them.
Whether he knew it or not.
"I love it." She said, holding back a sob. "I feel so bad because I don't have anything for you."
"Don't worry about me, Frost Bite." Bakugou waved her off. "I got my girl....that's enough for me."
Tomomi laughed a little, looking up at him as she got closer. Bakugou smiled back, slowly circling his arms around her waist. Soon, the couple kissed slowly yet passionately. They were so into the moment, they didn't even noticed the mistletoe that was tied to the lamp post above them. Not like they needed a plant to tell them to kiss.
This was a great Christmas and Tomomi couldn't ask for a better winter than the one she has now.
