Zain POV:
*knock* *knock* *knock*
"come in," i say from inside the office.
yasin walks in with an unreadable expression. i look down and wait for him to start yelling at me.
after a few minutes of silence i look up and see tears in his eyes.
"aren't you going to yell at me and tell me how useless and pathetic i am?" i ask with a weak smile.
"no... I'm really mad. i really am but yelling at you isn't going to change anything. its a waste of time that we could use for something better."
"im so lucky to have someone like you," i said getting up and opening my arms wanting to hug him.
"I'm still mad at you. i don't wanna hug you." yasin says sternly
i pout and come closer with my arms open.
"please," i whisper. he sighs and comes to hug me.
i cling on him like a koala and start crying.
"i-i miss h-her so m-much." i sob and close my eyes tight.
"hey its ok. she's really forgiving. when we get her she'll be so happy to see you."
"i... don't think so. i said some really harsh things to her... and guess what?"
"what?"
"she was pregnant," i whisper into his chest.
he pushes me away and looks at me in the eye.
"WHAT?!"
"i know-"
"how did you not realize?"
i stay quiet and re think everything that had happened before she told me. her actions.
she was eating more, her stomach had been getting a little bigger, she was moody and emotion.
"i don't know," i said quietly.
"but i know that... what i did to her, i will never forgive myself."
