'YOU SHOULD KNOW BETTER THAN ANYONE ELSE THAT YOU'VE FAILED THAT MOMENT YOU LOSE YOUR COOL.' — Sawamura Daichi

┊͙˚. Day / Saturday — Time / 7 : 30 pm

"- and that's why iwa-chan smacked me." Oikawa ended as [Y/N] and iwaizumi giggled after hearing oikawa's story on why Iwaizumi smacked him.

"Which wasn't very nice you know." Oikawa glared at Iwaizumi, "Hey, it isn't my fault you were being annoying and ate my last agedashi tofu." Iwaizumi said as Oikawa huffed.

They were sharing stories with one another and catching up on things, it's been a while since they shared a moment like this together.

"So [Y/N]." Iwaizumi started, "How were your parents?" Iwaizumi questioned as a sigh escaped her lips.

"Well you see~ it's been good with dad, even thought it's been a while since I visited him but I'll visit him in two weeks or so..I think." [Y/N] started talking about her father.

"But..my mom." She started, "Ever since [S/N] finished high school, she became much more controlling of our lives. She made [S/N] stop playing volleyball because it wasn't 'ladylike' and girls shouldn't be playing a sport that's for men.

Which is sad because she's really good! And amazing as well! Mom can't see that, Hell, she didn't even see [S/N] play a game. And [S/N] stopped playing volleyball for our mother's sake." [Y/N] stated furiously.

"And me." She started before scratching her arm, "She said that I should try and distance myself from volleyball so I don't end up like her. But it's not helping since I'm a manager of a volleyball team. So..

She actually tried to kick me out of the team."

Both of their eyes widened,

"WHAT!?"
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN TRIED!?"

"Well, it was before we go to training camp for our practice match with nekoma..."

[Y/N] was walking to her school in the morning, it was the same day she'll be on the bus to go to a training camp for their practice match with the cats, nekoma.

As she reached the school's gates her eyes spotted takeda talking with a woman who had similar [H/C] hair with [random color] eyes.

'Mom? What is she-'

She got cut off her thought by words coming out of her mother's lips, "Please take her out of the team, she's really busy with the chores she has to do at home, and volleyball is the least thing I want her to be interested in."

[Y/N]'s eyes widened,
'First [S/N] now me? Hell! I'm not even playing!'

She noticed how uneasy and nervous takeda was,

"We-Well I can't kick her out, I need to tell her fir-"

"No! You don't have to! Just kick her out!"

[Y/N] clenched her fist in anger, she silently walked towards where both of them were talking.

"Mom."
The older [H/C] haired woman froze and turned to spot her youngest daughter.

"[Y/N] dear-"
"What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be at work? It started like..an hour ago?" [Y/N] mentioned.

"Oh yeah- I just wanted to come and tell the teacher that your schedule is very busy everyday and it's hard for you to organize it. Since you have house chores and you help me around, maybe being a volleyball manager is a bit hard too- so I thought if you left the team..it'll be much more easier-"

[Y/N] raised her right brow,
"I'm sorry but my schedule is well ordered and I can manage my time between volleyball and house chores." [Y/N] clasped her hands together.

"I think my schedule is very fine thank you, and volleyball is not causing any trouble nor difficulty."

[Y/N] saw her mother giving her a secret glare while clenching her fist.

"I think you should go to work now."

"Yeah..Yeah I guess." Her mother said bowing to Takeda, "Sorry for wasting your time. Goodbye." Her mother started to walk away making a sigh leave [Y/N]'s lips.

"Sorry about that sensei."
"No! It's fine really!" Takeda said before a worried expression took over his face. "Is something wrong takeda sensei?" A sigh left his lips making [Y/N] gaze at him.

"Is your schedule okay? Like being a manager isn't hard for you right? You aren't facing any trouble-"

"No!" [Y/N] giggled a bit, "sorry for raising my voice but I'm really not facing any problems with being a manager, I'm having fun and I promise! If something is wrong I'll inform you." Takeda smiled in relief and nodded.

"Alright."

"Damn."
"That's just horrible!"

Oikawa and iwaizumi looked at the [H/C] headed with a sympathetic look. "It's okay pumpkin-chan! If you need anything we'll be right here!!" Oikawa said as he hugged [Y/N].

This time she didn't push him away, she wrapped her arms around him—hugging him back. Oikawa smiled softly as he nuzzled his face into her neck.

"Okay stop it." Oikawa was pulled away by iwaizumi, [Y/N] chuckled before letting out a small 'oof' when she felt strong arms wrapped around her.

She saw iwaizumi's hair over his shoulder which made her smile and hug him back. Soon she felt herself slowly starting to suffocating,

"Ha..Hajim-Hajime-san..I can't br-breath." Iwaizumi's eyes widened as he apologized while pulling away from the hug.

"Now now~ I'LL WALK YOU HOME PUMPKIN-CHAN!"

"We'll both walk her home."

"But I beat you to it."

"Huh?"

The next thing you know—[Y/N] was being dragged by the captain brunette. Oikawa was running and [Y/N] was trying to catch up him as much as she can.

It took iwaizumi a moment to realize what was happening. "Wait..

WAIT! COME BACK HERE SHITTYKAWA!!"

Tsukishima was walking back to his house after his mother sent him to the store to buy some groceries.

While walking back, he was totally absorbed in the song that was currently playing. A soft hum left his lips as his eyes closed for a moment.

He looked to his right side after opening his eyes, only to spot a familiar [H/C] headed with two males.

'[Y/N]?'
Tsukishima wondered internally.

The familiar captain brunette swung an arm around [Y/N] making the dark haired male smack him.

Soon their faces were familiar to him,

'Oikawa? Iwaizumi? Of Aoba johsai?'
Tsukishima furrowed his eyebrows before their presence disappeared after they turned to a corner.

'How does she know them?'
He questioned.

"Oh yeah, pumpkin-chan!"

"We need to hang out some other time! It's been a while!"

"Bye pumpkin-chan~ make sure you tell [S/N]-san I say hi!"

'Well be did call her pumpkin-chan..and he said that it's been a while since they've seen each other.'
Tsukishima thought as he walked back to his house.

'If he said that it's been a while since he saw her, it means he knew her before..maybe they are childhood friends?'
Then a thought bursted into his head,

'Then how does iwaizumi know them?'
Then it hit him,

'Kageyama went to kitagawa daiichi and he knew Oikawa and iwaizumi there. So Oikawa and iwaizumi are childhood friends. So [Y/N], iwaizumi, and Oikawa are childhood friends?'
Then tsukishima stopped dead in his tracks,

His eyes widened at the next thought it came into his head,
'Is kageyama her childhood friend too?'
