You were so unpredictable. And I was never fond of people like you. But why am I being like this? What did you do to me?

You always had that warm smile on your face. You never said no to others. Even if it was against your will, you accepted their huge mistakes.

"I'm so sorry y/n-chan! I fell asleep last night and woke up late that I wasn't able to finish our report. I'm so sorry." a classmate of us said.

Your face went blank but was suddenly replaced with your remarkable smile.

"It's fine. We can just do better next time can't we? And if ever you aren't able to finish your task, you can ask for my help. I'll assist you with it." you replied with a reassuring smile, pretending like it was nothing at all.

"Are you sure y/n-chan?" he replied back.

You nodded and showed him that it was totally fine.

"Thank you so much! I promise, I will do better next time! Btw, I gotta go bye!" he continued.

You smiled and waved him goodbye as he disappears from your sight to go get lunch.

Once he was gone, you dropped your hands, along with the appearance of the worried look on your face. You then put your elbow on your desk, with your face laying on your hand.

I couldn't see your face clearly but your back looked so down. I didn't know what to do. But I now find myself unknowingly walking towards you.

I was surprised by what I saw. Tears formed on the edge of your eyes as you opened them when you felt my movements.

"Oi Yamaguchi and I are going to have lunch at the cafeteria, wanna come with us?" I asked.

I wanted to say more. I wanted to ask if you were okay. I wanted to wipe your tears. But that was the only thing that left my mouth.

"Sure, thanks." you replied again with a smile.

Please stop that. Stop smiling when you're hurting inside. Stop forcing yourself to be happy. I know you're not.

"Tsukki, let's go." Yamaguchi interrupted.

"Yeah. Oh, y/n's gonna come with us. You're fine with it, right?" I answered him.

"Totally! Let's go then, Tsukki, y/n-chan!" he enthusiastically replied.

I kept looking at you ocassionally as the three of us make our way to the cafeteria. Your shoulders and head were both pulled too much by the gravity.

"Y/n-chan, what are you having for lunch?" thankfully, Yamaguchi ended the awkward silence.

"I prepared sweet and sour pork for my bento and a few side dishes." you answered.

"You make your own bento, y/n-chan?" Yamaguchi asked you with a shocked look on his face.

"Mhm. My mom's too busy with her work and I don't want her to waste her time on making my lunch." you replied.

"I see, can I have taste of it later?" he asked.

"Sure, Yamaguchi-kun." you replied, again with that smile of yours.
