Loki x Reader POV

The Song

You sit cross legged on your bed you desperately trying to remember how to play Loki's favourite song on your guitar. You stop every time you make one simple mistake and as the hours pass you get progressively more annoyed at yourself. You desperately try to play it right and sing it all at the same time but no luck. You make a loud groan in frustration. You place your guitar on the stand and fall face first onto your bed. You hear the door open but you make no attempt to see who's at the door.

"Darling". The soothing British voice is instantly recognisable. "Darling are you okay?". You turn your head and stare at the gorgeous God standing at your door. His long dark hair falls perfectly on his shoulders. His eyes are wide with concern about you and he has a loving smile plastered on his face. "Yeah I'm okay, it's just I really wanted to get this song right for you" you replied. "Aw honey I'm sure it sounds perfect" Loki says. He sits beside you and strokes your face with his soft hands. He then runs his hands through your y/h/c hair, "why don't you play it for me?". You look into his cool blue eyes. "No" you reply, "because it sounds rubbish". "Darling I'm sure it doesn't, please...for me?" The sincerity in his eyes persuades you to play for him. "Fine" you tell him as you sit up.

You grab your guitar. You begin to play, you feel the urge to sing so you do. You close your eyes so you can't see Loki staring at you. Your finger slips as you play and you suddenly open your eyes to fix your mistake. You do it successfully and continue to play. You make it to the end of the song and you look up. Loki is staring at you in awe of your playing.

You place the guitar on its stand and fall back onto your bed. "Sweetheart that was amazing". "No it wasn't, that was awful" you say as you move up the bed. You sit up straight with your legs crossed. Loki places his hands onto your face and tells you "Darling you were amazing. You are so talented and so gorgeous. I am the luckiest man ever". He kisses your forehead. You stare into his eyes and kiss him. "I love you" you tell him, "I love you too" he replies. He pulls you in and wraps his arms around you. You nestle your head into his neck. He kisses the top of your head with his soft lips.
