aurora was fifteen when she fell madly in love with a boy and she was sixteen when the boy she was madly in love with killed her and left her to rot in the enchanted forest by their school
for thirty-two years aurora wandered aimlessly around the forest, she wasn't alone in her afterlife, she had the creatures in the forest and people from the underworld to speak to but she was still so lonely
she wanted her life back, she wanted her happy ever after, the one that was stolen from her by that wretched boy all those years ago, but she had been waiting so long and she was starting to loose hope that her dream would ever become a reality
until a group of boys enter the forest one night and decide that her tree was a great place to have a birthday celebration
she watched them drink and have fun, she watched as one of the boys stayed behind, and she watched as the boy proposed and said "i do" to the tree that had sprouted on top of her rotting corpse, and she watched even harder as that boy wished for the same thing that she had wanted her whole life; someone to love
