Complicated

Dads decision

17th of April 2015

I wake up of a slam of a door. Then I hear some one yelling I'm home. I realise who it was and try to roll over to get back to sleep. I wake up again in 2 hours time to more yelling. Except I doesn't sound happy I go near my bedroom door to listen to what is going on...... They are fighting again. I hear mum scream and I open the door to see my dad hitting her again. I have had enough of this and I am going to do something. I pull the bed room door open and charge at my dad. I push him off and I punch him. My dad falls to the ground. My mum runs away crying screaming stop. I get ready to punch him again but he lunches him self up pushes me then punch me so hard I get knocked out. I wake up to find myself on my couch with my mum having peas on my face. I ask where's dad and she tells me "shh stay quiet"
. I cough. Then I hear my dad say
"Is that boy awake yet"
Mum says "yes" in a quiet voice and moves away from me. Dad marches down the hall and into the living room and says
"Boy I'm kicking you out you have to leave by tonight"
I feel relaxed until I start thinking where I will go..
He finishes his sentence
"You can take the van with you"
I get up and go into my room and start shoving clothes into a bag.
"You still have to attend school honey"
Mum yells out.
"Fuck you" I yell back.
Dad gets up walks over to my room and slaps me in the face hard.
Then walks out again. I don't speak for a while until I finish packing.
"Where's the keys" I say
Dad throws me the keys and hands me $200 for gas and food.
I walk out with all my stuff and put it into the van and I call one of my friends to ask if I can stay for a while. they say I can't but there's camping spots in the forest and he hangs up. I get into the car and start driving to te forest.
