I swear my heart paused for like 10 seconds, I dropped my phone with a look of shock and horror on my face. I could hear my breathing and my heartbeat ringing in my ears. Quickly I pick up my phone to see that Tré hung up, I slipped on my shoes and grabbed my keys and shades before running to the car and speeding to the hospital.
I called Token and told her the news, of course she was most definitely on her way. I called Michael and told him that I was going to the hospital to check on Onyx, he told me he'd be on his way.
I couldn't help but to shed some tears because I was scared, I was scared for my bestfriend. I was nervous, what if she...no! She will be just fine!
Once I got to the hospital and found Onyx's room, I got up there as quickly as possible but slowly opened the door. Onyx's parents and the doctor were standing in the room
"If its not a good time I'll come back." I smile weakly, "Come on, Duck, you're family." Her mom smiles, "Where's Birdie?"
"She's on the way, how are you guys?" I smile, closing the door, everyone replies with a good, "As I was saying, she did survive. The bullet struck her shoulder, was very close to a major artery but luckily it missed. We did get all of the bullet out as well. She should wake up in a couple of hours, when she does or if she wakes up earlier buzz me." The doctor explains
We all nod and look over at Onyx, her face was so pale. All her beautiful color was sucked out of her face, I felt so horrible for what happened.
"Are you guys okay?" I ask softly, "Yes, yes, we're okay. We're just thankful that Onyx is okay." Her dad explains, "How are you, Duck?"
"Pregnant and tired." I broke the news, a loud gasp filled the room, "Did I hear pregnant?!" Token calls
We look at the door to see a shocked Token, "Pregnant, I'm pregnant everyone." I smile weakly
"¡Felicidades! Estoy tan feliz por ti!" Mr. and Ms. Patterson cheers, "Congratulations! Have you told Michael?!" Token hugs me
"Yea, we wanted to tell you guys in a different way but it just came out. Please keep this a secret." I nod, "Of course, chica!" Everyone agrees
