Clatters rung through the tower from the kitchen. Pots banged together as bottles and empty boxes were thrown. Thor and Loki discussed terms and conditions of the trickster's stay when the noises grew louder.

"What in the nines is happening?" Loki peered to the ruckus.

"Oh, Y/n does this monthly cleaning, it's best to ignore it,"

"Oh my gods! I found another jar!" Your squeal bounced off the walls as you skipped down the hall with a handful of things.

"She finds joy in such dull things," Loki scoffs.

"She's a simple woman full of positive energy, it is hard not to enjoy what she does,"

"I find it tedious,"

"Find it what you will but not even your silver tongue can convince her to stop doing what she enjoys," Thor laughs before turning back seriously. "So are we clear on the regulations?"

"Yes, yes, no stabbing the others, no killing anyone, no causing mass destruction and no leaving this wretched place without an escort, you've made it quite clear, you oaf,"

"Oh, and stabbing me is prohibited,"

"Now that's just cruel," the trickster scowls before swiftly leaving.

"I mean it, Loki!"

~~~
Moving your peas from your carrots and steak into exact rows, Nat sighs. She looks to Clint who shrugs and points to Pietro, this goes on and on from each Avenger until it reaches Thor.
"Y/n, what seems to trouble you?" The god gives in after the pestering.
"What? Oh... nothing, magic stuff,"
"Well, I grew up alongside magic, surely I will be able to help," Thor boasts, leaning in to hear.
"Ok... the Sigil I created seems to be blocked by an external force that my client is trying to overcome," arranging your food into the shape you created, you continue. "I tried rearranging the intent, move the words around and even tried a different candle but something is wrong and it's... It's just really stressing me out,"
"Right..." Thor pondered his thoughts. "Have you tried to shift the shapes-"
"Shifting the shapes won't do anything, you oaf, it may just create malintent," Loki looks up from his food and turn to you, who was beside him. "What you need to do is apply the sigil onto a Mugwort leaf to-"
"Banish the negative energy! You are brilliant!" pushing back your chair you give the god a hug before dashing back to your room to complete the spell.
"Well done, brother," Thor claps a hand on Loki's back making the god scowl.
"Get your hands off me,"
~~~

"Hey, thank you so much for your advice, I just wanted to repay you," the god looks up from his book to meet your eye, then down to the strips of paper.

"I have no use for Midgardian valuables, it's merely paper with economical worth,"

"You're not wrong but I feel like I should give you something considering I wouldn't have gotten the spell done without you," taking back the money, you look around before looking at the candy wrapper on the kitchen counter. "You like sweet things don't you?"

"Yes... why may you ask?"

"Get dresses in some Midgard clothing, we're going out," without listening for a reply you were gone with the wind.

~~~
After much persuasion, Tony allowed the trickster to leave with your company. You decided it was best for him to experience everything that a Midgardian would so instead of taking a car, off to the train it was!
"What is that noise?" Loki growls from beside you after you bought him his ticket.
"That's a train, which we will be taking," leading him to the right platform the train was just on time to let you both in. "You might want to hang on,"
"This contraption is incredibly suffocating," he mumbles from beside you, watching the city fly by.
"But it's a normal occurrence for a Midgardian, so you'll have to suffer," stumbling slightly at the stop, you reach the right platform and get out with him. Lights flashed across the screens as tourists awed at the normal scene of Time square.
"This is... overwhelming," Loki mumbles in distaste.
"Don't worry, where we're going, you'll like,"
~~~

"Very... colourful," Loki scans the decorative wallpaper and items he knew were not edible.

"The colours are to attract people, which is working," a few people pass by to collect sweets. "But you'll love the candy,"

Loki looked around, watching as you explained each candy to see what would peak his interest. He was put off by a few and intrigued by others. Though he would never admit it... he enjoyed himself, quite a bit actually. You weren't the most awful company and actually understood his humor.

There were a few scolds here and there whenever he caused a bit too much chaos but you found it equally as funny.

~~~
"Ok, ok, now close your eyes again and try this," Loki sucked on the sweet, chewing on it and thinking before smiling.
"Nougat?"
"Well done, your majesty," he opened his eyes with a wide grin. "Your turn," doing as he did, Loki rummaged through his bag and took out a red sweet he knew to be spicy.
"There you go," He placed it in your mouth and waited for your reaction. Your tilted and confused lips soon turned into concerned.
"Why is it spicy?!" Spitting it out into a tissue, Loki burst into laughter and took out more candy of the same type and popping it in his mouth. "That's disgusting,"
"Suit yourself, I think it's quite a treat,"
"You have odd taste," the god shrugs in response, happily watching as you chugged a bottle of water when the heat rose up again. "Let's head back now, see if they've burned down the tower,"
"Would that be such a bad thing?" Loki muses, walking with you to the train.
"Yes, because I have all my things in my room... and I guess everyone would get hurt too..." You remark slyly. Once in the train, you were both in deep conversation when the train jolted and you fell right into Loki's arms. "Sorry," backing up slightly he smirks at the blush.
"That's quite alright,"
