Chapter 4: Special Visitor

"I'm going to die, this is it."

"No your not, if we can show him what we can do, together, he'll keep you alive, Mammon won't let him either."

"Who?"

"No one you need to worry about right now, just focus on the moves we learned, let me start, then you join in."

You nodded.

Fizzarolli stepped to the front stage again, you pulled back the curtains, and he started his show.

You quietly cheered for him in the back, the crowd seemed to enjoy it as well, you couldn't see Lucifer, but you begged he was enjoying the show.

Fizzarolli was hanging from ring by his legs, he arms stretched out to you, this was your que.

You jumped up, onto the front stage, grabbing he hands, the crowd gasped, he pulled you up in the ring with him, nodding to you. Now you had to do your least favorite part: jumping to the other ring. It wasn't like you couldn't do it, was that everyone, including the king of Hell was watching. But you pulled yourself together, and jumped.

You went straight through the ring, which was always the plan, mid air you turned around, grabbing the rig with you hands, you used your momentum to swing back up, sitting in the ring.

"Haha!" Fizzarolli laughed, spinning the ring around "You did it!"

You sneered at him jokingly, leaning backwards and falling off the ring. The crowd gasped, right before you hit the ground, you opened your wings, pulling yourself up in the air. you laughed, looking at the cheering crowd, your smile fell when you made contact with Lucifer, those glowing eyes dug deep into your brain, he was grinning widely, you couldn't tell what he was feeling.

Fizzarolli wrapped his arms around your waist, pulling you close to him.

"We're both scared I know, but you got this, ignore him, he won't harm you in front of a crowd." He whispered in your ear, you nodded.

You both continued the show, using your wings to your advantage when flying over the crowd or leaping to the rings, Fizzarolli seemed really happy, spinning and laughing, you barley heard it half the time because of the crowd, they loved the show, and you did to.

When it was over, you and Fizzarolli jumping down, bowing to the crowd, then vanishing behind the curtain.

"That was amazing!" You cried out, spinning in excitement.

"Correct, what a wonderful show!" You and Fizzarolli turned around, seeing Lucifer walking up to you both, clapping.

You went still in terror, Fizzarolli held his head down a little bit.

"Hello...sir." Fizzarolli mumbled, Lucifer nodded to him, then turned to you, grabbing one of your wings.

"Extremely large, you must have been very high in your rank, F/C shirt and wings, heart logo in the side, nervous around me, clearly new here...you must be a high ranked cupid angel."

"That's...correct...how did you-?"

"I used to be an angel myself, sure it was years ago, but it seems God hasn't changed." He laughed, twirling his staff.

"What are you doing down here? None the less with him." Lucifer nodded to Fizzarolli " No offense, I'm just surprised thet got over here and stayed alive."

"He save my life, and said he'll get me out of here, there's also-" You held up your hand hoping he could see the red string as well.

Lucifer had a confused look on his face, using is spear to hold up the thread closer to his face.

"Oh...shit." he mumbled, Fizzarolli giggled nervously.

"Well, I did offer them food, but I didn't think it would do anything..."

"Normally you would be right, but this is new, even to me, maybe Lilith knows something about this."

"I...didn't think you would help us." You said, Lucifer laughed.

"Trust me, having an angel down here is not a good idea, especially if you weren't sent down here by God, let me guess, rival?"

You nodded, he rubbed your head.

"Been there before, until then you should stay at my palace...or maybe my daughter's hotel would be better..." He trailed off, thinking.

"Sir, I promised Fizzarolli a would help him with the circus."

Lucifer looked skeptical, but shrugged.

"I'll let you stay here, but I will be announcing to everyone in Hell you are under the protection of not only Me, but Mammon, Alastor, and Stolas, I'll also be sending Stolas here to see if you can help him with a spell that could send you back to heaven, he's going to need his book back from that Imp though."

"Stolas? Oh no...no no no, his Imp is not allowed anywhere near this park, last time he was here he burned it down and destroyed my robot, I've been here trying to build it up again."

Lucifer leaned down, staring into Fizzarolli's eyes.

"Do it for them, and your king, this will help us in the long run."

Fizzarolli nodded fearfully, Lucifer clapped his hands.

"I'll be with here with and Alastor Stolas tommorow as well, I'll also see if I can find out anything about that string." Lucifer waved, then was gone.

"He seemed nicer than what I was told."

"I guess he is, but he's still scary." Fizzarolli shivered, walking back to the dressing room.

"Why do you think he was so concerned about the string?"

Fizzarolli shrugged, collapsing on his little bed on the ground.

"You should probably go home, sleeping on the ground isn't good for your back."

"But I can't, now there's not one, but three overlords coming tommorow! I don't think I'll be able to sleep!"

You laughed, wrapping your wings around him, he gasped and flinched away at first, but then relaxed into you, laying down on your chest.

"See...I can do more than just make people fall in love."

"I think I am." Fizzarolli laughed, then sat up realizing what he said.

"I MEANT AS IN FALLING ASLEEP! HELPING ME FALL ASLEEP!" He quickly corrected himself, grabbing the edge of his hat (I don't know what their called I tried looking it up but it just said donkey ears) covering his face in embarrassment.

"I knew what you meant!" You laughed, patting his shoulder, he uncovered his face giggled nervously.
