You yawned, trying to close your right wing, it had stayed open all night, Fizzarolli insisted on sleeping on the floor if he was going sleep in here at all, his blanket was barley enough to cover him, so you opened your wing, covering him up like a blanket, he seemed to enjoy it, as he was now holding onto it like a child, refusing to let go.

"Fizz, you gotta wake up." You started messing with the red string, hoping he would wake up, he grabbed his hand, playing with the red string himself.

"No, go back to bed, I don't want to preform today."

"But I want to! It was fun yesterday."

He groaned, grabbing you wing even harder. You thought for a moment...what would wake up a demon if greed?

"We'll make tons of money today, you said you invested into better advertising!"

Fizzarolli groaned again, letting go of your wing, he sat up, blinking rapidly.

"Fine, I'll get up, but don't call me Fizz again."

"Alright." You flexed your wings, maybe you could a couple more tricks today.

Fizzarolli seemed really tired, he wasn't bouncy or jumping up like usual, he hasn't smiled at all, even a little bit.

"What's wrong?" You asked him.

"Depression." He snapped.

A faint sound echoed off the walls, Fizzarolli lifted his head up looking around, you walked over to the door, hearing the noise again.

"It sounds like..."

"Cheering." Fizzarolli moved towards the door, you quickly moved out of his way. He opened the door, running out, you ran, following him.

He stopped backstage, he hesitated for a second, then slowly pulled back the curtain, staring at the crowd.

"Fizzarolli! Fizzarolli!" They chanted, kids and adults alike, all of them cheering.

Fizzarolli sighed, be still seemed down.

"What's wrong? They're cheering for you."

"That's just the thing, they want to watch me sing." He sarcastically jazz handed, "Watch me mess with a couple robots, watch me sing the same thing every single time."

"Then do something different, do what you love."

"What if they don't like it!" He grabbed the edges of his "hat" although it always looked attached to his head, and when he started pulling on them they indeed were.

"Then the people who do will stay, do what you love, not what other people love."

Fizzarolli looked at the crowd again, then back at you.

"I'll have your wings if this goes wrong."

"Go right on ahead." You smiled smugly, a small part of you was scared, but how hard could this crowd be to please?

Fizzarolli took a deep breath, then opened the curtains, stepping out onto the front stage.

"Today...we have a...new kind of show to show you." His voice cracked, he needed to not be so nervously.

You were quickly setting up the rings, Fizzarolli got back behind the curtains, gasping for air, he looked to be on the verge of tears.

"What's wrong?" You asked, he was frantically pointing to the stands.

"Lucifer's out there."

Your fell to the ground, landing on your feet, but they were shaking so hard you had to sit down.
