Chapter 1

Hinata Shoyo is one of the middle blockers and the #10 in the Karasuno Volleyball Club. He may be short but he's got a jump that counteracts that! He's bright and cheerful with a smile on his face at all times! He's a little on the dumber side but who cares! He's a bright, talented ball of sunshine.....

I woke up to the sound of my alarm at 6:00 AM in the morning. The sun has started to rise slightly. The orange, yellow and slight red glow warming the land. The earliest moments of the day beginning. I got up and made my bed. Like usual, it seems dad isn't awake yet which calms my heart slightly. I went into the bathroom and started brushing my teeth. The sound of brushing echoing through the room. I then went downstairs to start cooking breakfast for dad and Natsu. It was quiet and peaceful. The only sounds I could here were the sounds of food being prepared which calmed me down a little bit more.

It was now 6:26. I was done with cooking so I went up and woke up my little sister Natsu for school. She woke up and started getting ready in which I did too. I took a shower, wore my practice uniform under a jacket and packed my school stuff and uniform. By the time I was done, Natsu had just finished eating breakfast. I let her wash her plate and we headed off to school.

7:12. I rode my bicycle with Natsu on hers to her school. I had already dropped her off at her school and was heading to mine. I had to hurry because morning practice started in a bit. I stopped riding at about 1 minute walk to school so I could prepare myself. 

It was 7:20 and I was changing in the club room when suddenly a hand grabbed my shoulder. "Good Morning, Hinata!!" a voice behind me shouted. I was surprised at this  and you could clearly see that from my face. "Woah. Hinata, you okay? Did I shock you that much??" It was Tanaka-senpai. "Yeah, Tanaka-senpai. You kinda scared me but it's okay!" I said while smiling more than I normally would if I were by myself. I then went back to changing. Thankfully, he didn't see my scars.

We were practicing in the gym at around 7:37 I'd say, when Takeda-sensei burst through the door and said. "W-we were invited to Camp Shinzen by the Nekoma team..!!!" he said while gasping for air as if he had just ran a marathon. My entire team looked excited except of course, Tsukishima. What'd I expect from a salty beanpole like him. Well, I myself wasn't that excited but of course I had to act like I was. Hence I screamed like an idiot and guess what that salty dinosaur obsessed beanpole said... "Stop screaming, shrimp. You're making yourself look even more stupid and dumb than you are. No wait, actually, you ARE that dumb and stupid." I knew he was right but.. it just kinda hurt.. you know? Having someone I love... wait.. WHAT? No. Don't think that, stupid!! He's dating Yamaguchi and you're dating Kags!! I'm slightly happy though because I get to get away from my father for at least a little while.. but what about Natsu..

After morning practice, I went to grab my clothes and changed in a toilet cubical because I didn't want anyone to see my cuts and bruises. I then went and sat down in my classroom. The entire day went by so slow.. I never really pay attention to the teacher.. I can't.. I feel too... tired...

It was lunch time. I didn't prepare anything for me to eat so I just went out and sat on a bench. It was a mistake to do that. It left me alone with my thoughts. They were getting louder and louder.

"Hinata!". It was Sugawara-senpai... Thank you.. You saved me from the voices...
"What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be eating in class?" He said with a worried look on his face. "Oh! Sugawara-senpai! I was just getting some air! I'm not very hungry because I ate a lot at breakfast." Lies. I didn't eat at all. The only thing I ate for breakfast was air.. "Oh.. Is that so? Well, okay then.. but you should head back soon. Class is going to start soon." he said clearly worried for me. "Okay! I'll head back in a bit!" 

School ended.. Now it's time for evening practice. I need to ask Takeda-Sensei if I can bring Natsu along..





"Alright everyone! That's all for practice today. Come here. We'll be telling you all about the details of the training camp!" Everyone came to where Couch Ukai gestured to. "Okay, so the training camp will be held in starting next week after the exams. If you fail, you won't be able to follow us to the training camp. It'll be for a whole week so be prepared. If you have any other questions ask Takeda-sensei." Couch Ukai explained. I knew that the " If you fail, you won't be able to follow us to the training camp" was directed to me, Kags, Tanaka-senpai and Noya-senpai as us four wasn't exactly the smartest.

It was after practice. I was with Takeda-sensei in the staffroom. I asked him "If I'm able to pass the exams, can I bring my little sister along with me to the training camp?" He asked back to me "Is there a reason for bringing you little sister along?" I was anxious.. I wanted to tell him the truth but the voices kept saying...
