"I am setting the time access. You take the dimensions, Leo."

"On it. Where too?"

"These are just the trials. Move to the tile in front of us."

"Done. Press the button?"

"Go ahead. Do the honours." I said with a grin.

Successful.

"Cool." We both said together.

"Now we need to do one last thing," I said.

"I could already see the spark in your eyes."

"Good."

I pressed two buttons together.

From my side, a bag fell on my hand.

From the other side, a huge wing started lifting up.

"What is this?" I almost laughed but then thought the better of it.

"A huge spacecraft with nuclear power and a lot of food and oxygen and water and stuff."

Leo whistled "I confess you are cool."

"I know that, right?"

We moved up to the windows.

The craft started opening the windows.

"Do it, Leo. Coordinates are set. Do your work and start."

"I have mailed a friend of mine to tell PUA and my mother."

Then I saw the figure. But it was not a dream this time.

"Accelerate. Now!"

"On it!" He screamed over the noise of the engine. "DONE! GRIP HARD!"

And we were surrounded by total darkness.

****

We did not end up in Tartarus, which was fine with me. And also we did not crash.

"An absolutely good start," I said and fainted.

"It was a long trip bro, but you cannot sleep here!!" He said though even I knew it took us less than a second.

"I agree." I somehow woke up. "Cuprum, security check, please."

"All clear sir." Cuprum, the craft's AI replied in his monotone voice.

A map popped up on the mainboard.

Father's location was represented by a dot. I stepped on the land there.

I immediately felt a shock.

There was no life there, but the air was filled with oxygen. I was in my spacesuit but I was able to tell that. I really did not know how. I somehow heard what Leo was thinking. We went into a mindly conversation.

LEO

APOLLO

I COULD READ AND SPEAK IN YOUR MIND

I AS WELL. BUT HOW?

The answer popped up in our minds.

THIS IS LIKE A MONTAUK CHAIR. THIS WHOLE PLANET.

THAT IS HOW YOUR FATHER COMMUNICATED!

LET'S FIND HIM AND ESCAPE ASAP. THIS PLACE COULD BE DANGEROUS.

AND LET US SHIELD OUR MINDS PLEASE.

We both did.

"Your father was lucky, Apollo, trust me. He could have landed somewhere else."
