Sirius blearily blinked open his eyes, not truly wanting to wake up seeing as he was so warm and comfortable. Sirius paused, he didn't remember bringing a blanket so how in the hell did it feel as if he had one on?

Actually opening his eyes this time, he looked to see he was curled half-way in a sleeping Remus' lap and that Remus had his arm wrapped around his waist. He thought that he should feel uncomfortable or angry of some sort but it just felt... right. He considered falling back asleep, pretending he had never woken up in the first place when he realized that James was looking directly at him, clearly amused, while throwing up an old snitch and catching it again.

Sirius all but jumped out of the seat, "I... I'm going to get a snack from the trolley!"

James' laughing could be heard all the way down the corridor, Sirius walked faster. Catching sight of an unmistakable head of red-hair, Sirius calmed down slightly. Maybe Lily would understand... or at least make James shut the hell up.

Sirius sauntered over to the group of girls standing by the trolley, "Well hello there, Flower."

She jumped slightly before turning and looking at Sirius, "Oh, it's just you."

"Deerest Flower, you wound me. Not even a hello?"

"Oh bloody hell, ever the drama queen. Hello, Star." She gave Sirius a brief side hug, appeasing him for the moment. Sirius nor Lily noticed the jealous stares she was getting from the other girls at the trolley.

Since third year, Sirius had, had girls falling all over him, asking him out, and just following him at times. In his opinion, they were all bloody stalkers. He had never had any interest in any of the girls at Hogwarts. He preferred the thrill of pranks, adventures, and motorbikes in general than having to deal with an emotional girl that would always nag him for such things.

"Y'know Lils, you should've sent James at least one letter. He tried to murder me with a frying pan when he saw the sixth letter you had sent me and he hadn't even gotten one! This is my life on the line here." Sirius flipped his hair in fake annoyance.

Lily smirked, "Like I would ever send Potter a letter."

"You act as if he's the worst person in the world, give him a chance Lils."

They had moved away from the trolley cart at this point, Sirius slowly bringing her towards his compartment, hoping to God that James would completely forget about the entire 'cuddling' incident once he saw his precious 'Lily-pad'.

'Prongs really needs to come up with better nicknames for her.' Sirius thought.

They reached the compartment and Sirius turned towards Lily, an apologetic look on his face, "Look, I'm not proud of what I'm about to do but I must."

Lily looked at him in confusion, "What-"

Sirius quickly opened the compartment door and shoved Lily inside, causing her to stumble and land directly on top of James. Sirius winced, already picturing the scolding he was going to get from her about trying to set her and James up again. Little did she know, he was just trying to save his own arse from the ruthlessness of Prongs' taunting.

James had looked extremely confused yet he still had a small smile just due to the fact that Lily was here. Lily looked completely livid.

Sirius sat down next to the now awoken Remus and shrunk in on himself to make him a smaller target for Lily's death glare as she quickly stood up and fixed her now disheveled hair.

"Hi, Lily-pad." James had a dopey smile on his face, a smile that was reserved for Lily and Lily alone.

"Potter." She said this shortly.
