And I hate to say I love you,

When it's so hard for me.

When you make it so clear, you don't want me.

I'd never ask you cause deep down I'm

certain I know what you'd say.

You'd say,

"I'm sorry, believe me. I love you, but not in that way."

I was once in love with the idea of love.

I wanted everything to be perfect, because I know everything deserves to have a happy ending.

Instead of helping, I end up hurting myself.

I didn't know that I was forbidden in the name of love..

I didn't know I was also capable of hurting myself by loving.

I was once enamoured with the concept of it,

But everything proves me wrong.

"I'm sorry, believe me. I love you. But, not in that way."
