"Catherine..." the voice echoed among the trees.

"Helen", she cried "Pleaze come out! We'll be late! You won! Just come out". She looked around scared. It was her idea to come to this part of the school before the afterschool lessons begun, but it was much scarier than she thought. They still had plenty of time before the bell, but Catherine wanted to get away the quickest possible. It might be dangerous, she thought. Why else would the teachers warn us to not come here?

The voice continued to call for her so she decided to follow the sound wherever it would lead her. Maybe that way she could find her friend easier. She tried to calm herself, breathing deeply and listening to the song of the birds. Even if it was dangerous, at least it was a beautiful place.

She walked in the forest until she saw a pattern on the ground, coloured stones places so that they formed a pathway. She smiled and followed it. "Catherine" the voice whispered softly, almost as if it was singing. As she reached the end of the path, she discovered that the trees ended there too. She stepped forward to see that the path lead to a garden. The gate's hinges cringed as she opened it. The garden was the most beautiful place she's ever seen. There were beautiful almond trees around on the inside of the fence making it look like it was taken out of a fairytale and beautiful flowers were growing on the dirt. "Catherine", the voice was sweeter now, like the way her mother when she was trying to wake her up. She stood there, listening to beautiful sound of the birds and of running water and observing every little flower in this beautiful garden.

The coloured pathway appeared again, this time leading to another door. "Catherine" the voice was louder now, a little calmer, as if it was begging. She ran hapily toward the door, as she completely forgot her initial hesitation.
