Your Mistakes

Now before you read this one, i'd like to say that this poem is very special to me, I wrote it to a friend, and although it seems kind of blunt, she loved it and I gotta say there's alot of history behind every poem I've written and i regret no experience, even if at times i write as if i did, it was only written out of anger or dismay.

Don't cry for him, he doesn't deserve your time

You shouldn't waste your tears

Even if what you feared came true

He was never right for you

He lied, he only used you

He should feel shame

You'll heal, you'll forget

But he will always live with regret

You'll wish you two had never met

For all the shit and pain he caused

All that hope you had was lost

Maybe you loved him

You weren't ment to be apart

Or so you thought

But all he ever did was break your heart

You should have fought the feeling that overcame you

But it's too late

And now you must accept your fate

Atleast you'll learn from your mistakes

And know not to put your heart at stake
