Malachite had used a spell he had been working on for a long time it was just now that it worked. He had popped up from the ground silently behind the girl and smirks as he then moved away from the girl.

Many gasped at the hard blow malachite had given to a POor dEfEnsleSs wOmaN.

Malachite didn't care he just walked out of the center humming softly as he then looked towards the others who wanted to talk shit malachite only jerked his way abit to them making them flinch. "Hmph" he huffs and walks to asta and gave each other a high five.

They both then proceeded to watch thr nobles fight and more. Malachite raised a brow as he watched yuno and a noble fought aswell, he observed closely then knew who would win anyways.

Yuno was cool and collected which was admirable to watch. Malachite hummed softly and stretched abit

"Wow thats the second one who defeated a noble" many cried out "this guy had more magic to use while the other just knocked a girl out"

Then it was the end of the exams, malachite hummed softly.

It went on till it was yumos turn "number 164"

"Im here" yuno walks up to the front and looked up" he waited "do we have any hands?" The announcer asked then slowly but surely all captains raised their hands. "Hm" malachite raised a brow and glanced at asta then chuckles abit.

"Next number 165" the announcer calls out and asta walked up. Malachite bite his lip slightly and sighs softly as he looked at the captains

"number 165, no hands"

Malachite sighs softly and looked at asta tilting his head. Asta stood in shock he didn't want to move malachite's eyebrow twitched as he then turns to the crowd giving them a death stare his eyes were sure covered with the magic item he called a style blindfold but he still got them to shut up.

Malachite only turns to asta "casta" he mumbles "theres no real surprise is it?" The black bull captain spoke up "no matter how good your skills are no one would want to mess with the unknown" yami states.

Yami let out a tramedice amount of mana and jumped down to face asta head on.

Malachite looked at the others for a moment even he gulped abit at the waves of magic all over the place. Asta only stood he ground at the man "now standing here magicless and pathetic you really think you actually have a chance?" Yami glared

Asta looked at him and glared "yea fine so what if i wont be able to join a magic squad this time but no matter what, no matter how many times i stumble i wont give up and i will become the wizard king" asta yelled

Yamis magic then disappeared as he looked at asta then laughs. Out loud "you know kid i like you, come join our crew" yami states with a small chuckles

"Alright asta!" Malachite calls out with a cheer and went up and down abit chuckling slightly. "This wont be easy but you go ahead and become the wizard king" yami states

Malachite smiled happily as he crossed his arms and gave asta a thumbs up.

"Number 166" the announcer calls everything was up and all malachite walked forward and stood like he didn't care then looked up at the captains

Black bulls
Purple peacocks
And
Golden dawn

raised their hands
Many gasped at it, it wasnt all squad captains but they were just surprised that  malachite was wanted in any of the squads
"Hmmm i have no idea who to pick " malachite laughed making everyone anime crash onto the floor. Malachite stuck his tongue out and smiled slightly then looked at the captains.
