There once was a bear and some honey bees. The bear really wanted some honey, but every time he went to get some, he was stung by a ton of bees. The queen bee was getting tired of losing so many workers to this bear, so she decided to call a meeting with the bear.
A messenger bee was sent to find the bear. On behalf of the queen bee, he asked the bear why he kept attacking the hive. The bear told him that he just really wanted some honey. The bee told him he would have to talk with the queen and flew back to the hive. The bear sat and fumed. Why did those dumb bees have to keep stinging him? He didn't want to hurt them, he just wanted a snack. Then he realized the problem- he was trying to steal from the bees and that wasn't right.
The bear knew he had to apologize, so he ran to the hive. He told the queen bee about his realization and asked if there was anything he could do to make up for being rude.
"Do you have any money?" the queen asked in a regal tone. The bear looked quite perplexed.
"I, uhhh... yeah I picked up this wallet off of a hiker once? But it's got, like, three dollars in it." The queen looked unimpressed.
"Well I mean I guess I can check again... uh here one moment." He smiled nervously and started patting down his pockets. "Fur coats, am I right? Too many pockets." There were a few more moments of awkward silence until he located the wallet. "Okay, yeah, still only three dollars. Oh! Wait! There's some of that magic plastic in here. Okay so the answer is yes, I've got some money. What do you want me to do?"
"You are going to pay me $500 for every bee you killed."
"Oh, uhh, gee I'm sorry, I didn't mean to kill any bees; I just wanted some honey..."
"So you've said. But you better figure out how to get me that money or you are never getting any honey again."
The bear was still very confused why a bee wanted money, but he went to an ATM and pulled out the cash. It ended up being such a large amount of money that the ATM ran out of cash and the police were called.
The bear delivered the money to the bees, and was forgiven. Anytime the bear wanted honey he just had to ask. Very politely.
Now, what did a bee want with all that money you ask? Well, the hive had heard of a bee named Barry B. Benson, and how he had sued the human race for stealing honey. However, when Barry won, all the honey was delivered back to his hive, and only his hive. What about all the other hives all over the world that had been stolen from? So this particular bee wanted money so that she could sue Barry B. Benson.
