I want to go to school, to experience it. But at the same time, I don't want to. Engineering is so hard. I'm not a genius, but if I work hard, people confuse me as one.
I don't want to leave home.
"T!?"
"Whaaaaat!?" I screamed at my little brother.
"Mum's calling you, get your butt down here right now!"
"Okay. And stop shouting!"
"You're the one shouting!"
"You're th-"
"Would both of you stop! Teyana Michaels hurry up before I drag your ass down here!" My mom screamed.
"Okay mother!"
I packed the last things I needed, before exiting the room and going downstairs, where my stupid brother is.
"What took you so long? Your driver is waiting for you." My mom said.
"Driver?" She turned and looked at me. "No mom, I don't want a driver to take me. I will go there on my own. Is that okay?" I told her.
"You will never change, will you?" She held her hip.
I just shrugged and handed my things to our butler. I sometimes hate it when the old man does this kind of works around. He needs to rest.
"I still wonder how we are related." Tevin spoke.
"Shut your soup cooler." I glared at him. "Before I leave, let me give a little advise. Pray to God that you don't grow up. Make sure you stay in highschool, junior. Life is a train wreck, make something useful with that tiny body of yours that you tend to worship seven days a week."
"Hey, hey, hey. My body has nothing to do with this okay. And by the way," He stood up and opened his shirt for me to see his torso. "Ladies loooooove all of this."
"Iuuu, gross. Cover yourself." He did. "And stick to the advise I told you. Don't be a genius, oh wait, you're not." I smiled and poked his little brain.
"Mom!?" He cried.
"Teyana!?" I rolled my eyes.
"Sorry Lil T." I said heading for the door. "Miss me okay."
"You wish, I'm turning your room to another gaming room." He said leaving for the stairs.
"Whatever." I turned to my mom. "Mum, I'm leaving. Stay safe okay, and no more different men on weekends." I begged.
"Oh, come on. I haven't had a man here in like, forever." She exaggerated.
"By forever, you mean, yesterday." She just laughed then shrugged. "I just want you to be happy. I can't bear to see you get hurt again." I held her hands.
"I'll be fine, don't worry. It's you that I'm worried about." Here we go again. "When are you going to ditch those overralls, and sweatpants. When are you going to go to parties, enjoy yourself, get drunk and to top it off, get la-"
"Ok, mom. I get it. But just to be clear, you know what course I'm taking right?" I stated it to her.
"I don't care, just have fun. And tell me everything okay?"
"Fine, I'll try." I lied.
"You're lying, and you know it."
"You should be repremanding me to stay away from those stuff, not encouraging me." I threw my hands in the air to emphasize my point.
"Not all moms are fun spoils, I invented fun." She hugged me. "Now go, and don't forget to tell me everything."
"Sure mom. I'll call you when I arrive." I opened the door to my black Audi and got in.
Oh yeah, we're filthy rich.
"Don't let boredom hit you. Oh wait, too late!" My brother shouted from his room.
"Love you too Tevin!" I smiled at him. He smiled back.
I left the gates with my mom spelling the word fun. My mom is a carefree woman. She does whatever she wants, whenever she wants. She gave birth to me at a very young age. Thank God my dad was a very very rich man.
Tevin on the other hand is a self lover. The boy can stay for hours, just staring at the mirror. He has a jock body and a slightly tanned skin and shady, but hot, African hair. He's a jock, upcoming quarterback. Tevin took over my dads features, while I took my moms.
Three hours of driving is what you call tiresome. But finally, I'm here! My dream university. I'm so excited to start a new life from everyone and everything.
I packed my car at the farthest part from cumpus. I'm not going to need it, plus I don't want people to like me just because I'm rich.
I went to the reception, got everything cleared and ready for life.
School starts in a week, lots of time for an adventure. I got room number 411. Fourth floor it is. Nice.
I wonder who my roommate is. A girl hopefully...... No no, girls are so pessimistic. I'm going to go for a boy. It says that the rooming program doesn't base on gender. Funny.
Now I regret having placed my car so far. I had to drag my stuff, to top it off. No elevator, it's broken they say. It was a very, trust me, very long journey.
But luckily, I made it up alive. My room was in the furthest corner, just how I like it.
I unlocked the door and went in. The room was separated by the difference of the colour. One side was plain black walls, with white sheets, inshort, it's pretty clean with a dark aura though.
The other side was plain white but arranged too. Which I'm guessing is my side, because of the huge plain white frame on the other side of the room.
Oh well, it is what it is.
I arranged my stuff, unpacked my clothes, spread my bed and voila! I was done.
I took my laptop, since I don't have anything to do and I sleep late nights, I watched all the episodes of season 14 of Wild n Out.
By midnight, I was tired. So I changed to my matching baby blue shorts and top. It's made of pure silk, very comfortable.
Sleep soon overshadowed me, but not before I heard the door creak open and close. Soon I was deep in slumber.
